Damalis isn't married.

Ishara's avatar is a porn star (I think she said that somewhere).

This thread is just a ridiculous waste of time. Nobody should be judged on something as silly as an avatar. It's all about the RPing Beff so give it a rest. It seems there is too much focus on OOC things than IC things. I think you're great Beff, just not when you do things like this.

Like he said, it's only meant for those that get upset by it to be serious. But I don't think he was referring to you, Xara. And Beff does this a lot so get used to it :p

I know Delvin, it may not have been meant for me but I find this equally upsetting.

Let me make this point. Shall the entire female community at TRF be regulated to one specific category of avatar? Where would the diversity be? Your avatar helps make the character and not all character, like Ishara mantioned, are wearing ballroom gowns. It's a strong point.

Now the flip side. Should you be permitted to have an offensive avatar? No. I have yet to see one here that is. If there were, it would already have been dealt with before there was even time to make a thread about it.

I am personal friends with Ishara so it's easy for me to take sides. I feel she was more upset over the original title of the thread, as I would be, than the thread itself. It's easy to get upset over comments that are clearly missing the "LOL's" or smileys to indicate it is to be taken as a joke.

*shrugs* I'm sure it's possible to find avatars that fit that don't seem to be overly oriented towards one thing. But with Ishara, her avatars fit her characters. Beff was merely starting a topic for conversation, not pointing at people and making accusations. Though, those that got upset must believe there's are "trashy" as Beff put it or they wouldn't have said anything.

Trashy is the word that fits what Beff was getting at though. Ask any adult to look at those pictures and that's what they would call it ;) Trust me, that's what my grandparents call pictures like that. My parents too.

Not saying I don't like them. I happen to think her avatar is very appealing.

If you can't tell the difference; tough luck.

If your choice is to be offended; tough luck.

Complain to someone who cares, like Seth.

And if you can't tell the difference, and your choice is to be offended; even tougher luck. What amuses me is that of the avatars I was actually referring to, none have yet posted accordingly.

I know, I love her and her characters. What we simply have here is a failure to communicate. Ishara can be hot-headed, believe me. And we all know Beff can too. I guess that's an understatement! :p I'm sure this will all blow over soon.

Blow over? It need not have blown up.

You'd never have survived the Glory Days of TRF.
