The Atlantean Imperial Sovereignty is looking for member worlds! Join the Atlantean military and become a part of the oldest military force in the galaxy! Become more than you ever dreamed! Join the Atlantean Empire, and become part of a legacy spanning thousands of years!

"This is the standard advertisement for the the Atlantean Imperial Sovereignty. A relatively new power on the galactic scene, not much is known about them, except they claim to have once controlled the entire galaxy. They claim one five-planet system in the Unexplored system (I will write the necessary 5,000 word posts on each as I have time).

They do not wish to engage in fleet actions, and wish only to trade and expand their sphere of influence. Diplomats have been sent to extend offers to this new regime."

HAN SOLO IS NOT ATLANTEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can't screw with canon!!!!!!

And you also can't say you have an empire that spans over this giant area of space. No one has heard of you before and people MIGHT notice if there is a giant empire sitting in the middle of known space.

The Empire would not have lost a thousand ships - nor three thousand - to the Atlaneans without some mention of it being made. The Katan was a Fleet of 200 Dreadnaughts and its disappearance became legend - the loss of three thousand ships in minutes would require an engagement so massive that it would be seen from systems lighyears around.

Moving on...

The Emperor did not try seven times - a small force of maybe twenty destroyer could be written off with a few heads on pikes but the matter would have been quietly brushed aside and the region walled off by an Empire working to maintain its aura of invincibility.

Han Solo - not Atlantean - he was Corellian. Period.

300 systems? You would be well known - a smaller government compared to an Empire that psnas several thousands - but known nevertheless.

Ships cannot reach 20 km - you might have one but it would be a hideously weak construct and would have bankrupted you. The Eclipse was under eighteen and used an entire system's resources to complete, dry-mining them to the core. That is for an Empire that commands 20,000 Destroyers, a million smaller ships, and over a hundred thousand inhabited systems.

As far as your region, the galactic core is almost wholy Imperial and very heavily defended, as the volumes of rps weve done to earn that attest. You cannot just boom appear and be heavily defended and et al. Doesnt happen.

Canon is the term used to describe the events that happened in the movies and novels (though movies are generally "more" canon than novels). There are varying degrees of "canon" based on the source (movies generally trump all).

One thing is certain about canon though. Never has Han Solo's ancestry been suggested as being anything other than Corellian.

This is a good reason why n00bs should not be starting factions...
