I told you we should have taken Dathomir before Rodia... Anyway, I always liked the idea and you guys have my full support to create a Witch group. However, I think it would be better for everyone if you sub-group with TSO. We WILL be taking Dathomir within this month so why not just do the takeover rp with us?

That's exactly my point.
And you can chose to be angry at me for my opinion, Vance. You can call me a hypocrite because I have things going on in my real life. But the debate remains the same; action versus inaction.
Can you make an honest argument for putting the planet "on hold" until (when, I don't know, do you?) such time? I'm not trying to be a prick, though I may have come off a touch rude in reply.

None-the-less, I'm sure we will all come to an agreement. As it stands, TSO's next target was Dathomir, following the completion of Rodia, to which I just finalized the last portion of said takeover.
All that remains on Rodia now, is for those that feel the need, to finish up their scenes accordingly.
Following that, I will be starting on Dathomir shortly.
TSO leadership had already agreed on Dathomir following Rodia, so as to nip that bud of accusations (of a takeover verses faction creation) before they're made.
Any questions; ask someone who cares.
For those that need to know: I am in the middle of working out specifics with Ishara, and we are coming to a final plan of action as how best to work both ideas into the same flow.

I'm in agreement with Beff... claiming to have a planet "on hold" because you were planning to take it eventually is one of the most self-centred, arrogant, and just plain ridiculous things I've ever heard.
Going beyond that to say "well, start your group, I'm going to come take your planet anyway" is, simply put, pathatic, and certainly not conductive to a friendly RP enviornment.
Imagine what the backlash would be if TNO a) said to a new Rebel group "no, you can't join our galaxy, we were planning to take that planet eventually", or b) said "well, go ahead, start your group" and then proceeded to invade said brand-new group!
It would never fly. Nor should this.
A new group wants to start a relatively original, interesting group. That trump's any claim TSO has to the planet in question in my books.
Seriously, Vance, get off your high horse. Sure, you had plans to take Dathormir. That does not make it yours - until it's taken (either by a group through a 5000 word takeover, or by a new group as a homeworld) it's up for grabs.
So stop crying over spilt milk. Sometimes plans go awry and you have to cope, that's why they're called plans. Beating your fists and yelling "but it's our planet!" is not going to change that.
Now, if you two can come to a mutually beneficial agreement, that's fine. But drop this arrogant, selfish "I'm taking your planet, period" bullshit. That's not the kind of attitude that TRF encourages or wants presented to our new members. Get over yourself. :glance

Vance and I have concluded our discussions and it has been decided to go forward with creating a new faction. I will be starting a new thread in the next hour to make a formal request to create it and the new drafts regarding what it will be all about.
It was actually Vance's suggestion to create a new faction as opposed to a subfaction. He has even offered Dathomir as a homeworld with no strings attached. I have declined, and for logical reasons. According to the research I have done, the Nightsisters are exiled members of existing clans on Dathomir. Exiled because they were using Shadow Magic. (Dark Side Force) These Nightsisters were united under their leader Gethzerion. As time went on, they were eventually all killed.
Here is the part where my faction will fit in. There was a rebirth in Nightsisters under Tamith Kai who created a new clan in the Great Canyon on Dathomir. The best of the clan were sent to the Shadow Academy, the others remained in the canyon. The Shadow Academy eventually fell and the fate of those in the canyon is unknown. I am suggesting they fled the planet to place foundations elsewhere which shall be elaborated on in the new thread I will post later today.

As stated, I was working with Ishara on the idea; and as stated, I even offered Dathomir with the option of leaving it to her unless she wanted to come under TSO; and as stated, she declined and decided to take another planet as her homeworld - even after I said TSO would bypass it and leave it well enough alone.
But who gives a shit, we've worked it out, and I was everything including polite during the planning between Ishara and I. Don't sprout how I'm a bad example to newbies, Drayson, because your slate isn't exactly clean.
Anyways, everything is worked out, so no need to continue along this route.
