Are there snakes?
Nightsisters (New faction Application)
Why not, We've stolen every other SciFi genre to date
Might be more appropriate to have a single capital craft (or frigate) that was used in the initial transportation to another world; because I have the feeling the Nightsisters, unless you've changed this aspect, are a secluded lot who remain in one place doing their thing?
Just my two cents, however.

Stolen transport thingy.

This was just an idea I wasn't too sure of which was why I put it out there. To be honest, I may not act on it at all which is why I didn;t devote time to figuring out ship specs and such. I am shooting for the Nightsisters to remain secluded, especially to begin with.
I wouldnt recommend confining your group to a single everything (ie: starship, planet, etc). What the hell would you be doing then? If we followed every canon material it would go to shit. If you want to do starships, planetary takeovers, waging wars, etc then I say GO FOR IT. Expand your group to be a dominant force in TRF.
We're talking about starting out, Recon. I have no problems with them expanding, but from what I understood, Ishara is asking concerning the immediate resources they have...
Spacecraft used to require a faction have Ship Yards. There has to be a relevant equivalent, and there is; progress up to and including current. With that in mind, and considering our old build-rate, I say again and without mirth: "You have (your very own) starships?"
I'm understanding and agreeing with Beff. A new ship would require a point of origin from which it was made. For this faction, being that it is located on a secret world, this would not work. They are not shipbuilders nor are the Lexians.
Taking to Recon's point, I don't want to confine us either. This being said, we will eventually go with an existing type of ship, and few of them. Something small, yet able to use a hyperdrive. We could then interact with everyone.
To Vance's point, this is all something we can worry about later.
So, the answer is no. We do not have our own starships.

***Thanks for the input everyone... this is exactly why I put this out there. To help think it through.
