Hey Heir, aren't a couple of those systems (like Teth and Mon Cal) under the control of the Coalition currently? ;)

The coalition claims autonomate authority over them, but they fall inside the Imperium declared borders and sphere of influence, and thus are written off as such in the map...

...But I thought the purpose of the map was to show whom owned what planet so we can see how the planets line up. And not just look up a planet and do a takeover when it's surrounded by baddies. IE Me hearing of a planet not on the list but in the continuity, I start a takeover and find out it's five minutes from Bastion.

No Irtar, you're right, the map is supposed to show who owns the planets. BDE can have their big sphere of influence (although considering the last thing BDE did was withdraw into their borders because nobody had time for it, the influence wouldn't be that much for some of the planet) and GC might be inside it, but on the official map the planets are showed by who owns them.
