Oh, really? That doesn't make much sense since Verpine were very common as mechanics and such all over the place, but It could be. I'll have to look into it.

Thats just it - most understand Basic and use bulky translators and modulators to speak it - few can do it naturally. Look at Zraii, the X-wing mechanic for Rogue Squadron - never had any dialogue because of his inability to master basic without the aide of a protocol droid.
