I noticed the name of the planet just now, and it is listed as one of the planets I was planning to take in the "Jihad" story.

As I read it, I noticed it is after "Apparitions" which means that this is sometime in the future then? If so, by how much?

And that being the case, I could still have the planet taken in the here and now, yes?

That being the case, it may be an issue how this story will be panned out here.

Sorry, that I didn't notice sooner, but I am sure we can figure something out. Either on your side or my side.

Yeah, no kidding. I wonder if Gorbechev and Reagen overlooked stuff like this in the 80's?

Well, I could have the Quermians reject the accord of the BDE and not sign up with them. That in turn, will render them open to take and thus, not affect either of our stories.

Just a thought.

Or we could ponder on it. Up to you, Omnae/Simon.

hmm... and here I thought I was thorough.

What is the timeframe of your Quermian thing?

It was part of a larger storyline based around a coalition of border worlds, against a ghost threat of a pirate group. Currently the protagonist has just initiated a series of events pitting 1/3rd the voting beuracracy on his side, while at the same time banging some hot chicka in the political circles as well as arts dealer (no relation to Vinda, yet her family shares his last name as well as come from the corporate sector).

now?

or in the past?

The thread started in the present, but it started a while back, so the present might actually be the past now?

It is currently happening now as we speak, so with that being the case, I think the real question is when did the 'Apparitions' story end?

And from what I can see, Apparitions is still going on-- which should mean my story is going on at the same time as well.

I think.

Not that much time has passed with regards to Apparitions. So either your storyline is set before with conquests complete by the time Apparitions storyline starts with BDE nanotechnology being moved to Ultrapolis Major...

Well, for TNO history (in any event) Apparitions storyline is going to be what I call an anchor roleplay in the manner that Transitions was.

An rp storyline will either be set before, during or after. Transitions however covered about a year IC. Apparitions, as far as I know, will not cover that much IC time (perhaps at most, 4-6 months...depending on what Theren does).

So, what I am saying is, if you are setting your story before Apparitions, that gives me something to go on (within TNO storylines) to fit our Quermia action around. If your storyline is taking place in the 4-6 months that Apparitions is happening, then that means the perspective of my characters has changed somewhat and will need to be incorporated into my actions. (ie: BDE expansion can either be old news or it can be a fairly recent event within storyline).

As for how our action on Quermia affects you in storyline, I cannot really say as I do not think that Quermia has even entered your storyline yet.

Granted, when it does, there will be that perspective that needs to be added to my rp as well.

As for what happens within the storyline, let me know how Quermia fits into your overall story and I'll let you know where I am going with my rendition. I am sure we can meet somewhere in the middle.

I haven't drawn the story around the Quermians yet in my rp even though action is being taken against it. I'll have to go over your roleplay to see if you make any references to Quermia (hinting at how it will play into your overall plotline).
