you're more fucked up than i am.
Dantooine
You'll be surprised how fucked up i am!
Zing.
Okay, upon some research that is true. It is from the books, and books we generally find okay, so...
However, the planet was fucked up, according to SW Canon, three times.
In the Clone Wars (debatable whether we count the shorts; don't think we do)
By Daala (which counts)
By the Vong (which counts)
Argue with me on the last one though you will, I won't have it. When TRF was created calls for an offical timeline were many, so Gash stepped in and said "this is where we begin". Saying "CoC is the only Vong for me!" ignores a history of other Vong groups at TRF and the Vong in canon entirely, which is generally a bad idea.
However, upon more further review, you may be in luck. Depending on when the world Dubrillon fell... before or after Coruscant... we could fudge it, perhaps.
But I don't know why you want it intact when it clearly, from what is known, isn't. If all you want are hints or information from a bygone era, then ruins work fine. When I found the Lost City of The Jedi way, way back, I did so in the ruins of Yavin and used what information I found there to help me out. You could do the same. Have... I dunno, maybe a bunker or a shelter that survived the wars and contains enough to set you on your way.

I don't need Dantooine entirely intact. Dantooine can still be in a rather torn apart state. I'm just trying to define HOW messed up. Irtar came from 'the family that lived literally in the middle of nowhere' kinda dealy. The Vong attack would require me to kinda fudge things around a bit and twist my RP. But the Dalaa thing and the Clone Wars thing would probably have gone in the more major populated areas.
Is such a correct assumption?
A) The reason I need to do research into what TRF has changed in terms of canon with Dantooine is that it will be a major part of an RP I want to get started. SO instead of being an ignorant bastard, I decided to get input to know the exact status on Dantooine.
B) It's my character's homeworld. He has family there and I would just like to know what kind of crap is going on there.
TNO, could you please throw a bone out there with commonly known operations going on there. Like a 'Restoration' thing to try and bring back settlers and get a major food production thing going again. Or are you guys just leaving it to kinda rot but still saying 'It's ours!'?
