Chiss?

Perhaps if you put down retarded NJO book Lucasbooks released this month, you might realize that the Chiss history at TRF started well before Lucas got on the ball and dolled out the scant details that makes everyone and their grandmother a Chiss Expert.

Chiss were scattered, their home being a frozen ball of ice.
NR discovered Csilla and in a generous effort to draw the families out terraformed Csilla.
Some families resettled.
Others didn't and formed some of the Chiss groups that have graced TRF.
NR fell.
Empire conquered Csilla.
Wrath Virus devestated the population.
The Empire's/Kaine's Project Insidion did the rest.
Now: Imperial Expeditionary Forces inhabits the planet with few Chiss remaining.
I would assume that there are other families elsewhere in the unknown regions doing their isolationist thing (at least that would be the easiest premise to bring a Chiss group back with).

There would still be plenty of Chiss. Since most of this work was done before there was any information on the Chiss, we made up several planets and a map or two.

Quite interesting. I like the history you've established.

I'm not trying to claim that I'm an expert on the Chiss... far from. I don't even read the expanded universe. It tends to contradict certain aspects of Star Wars.

Anyone still have the maps or planets hanging around somewhere?

Also, I bought EzSupporter last night because it told me I would have to in order to keep posting. Something about a post-maximum limit reached. Any way to shut that off or is it standard for everyone?

Gotta keep posting, the longer you stay and the more you post increases your daily allowable post count

You didn't have to go buy supporter just because of that (even though supporter is very nice). We suffered several rather nasty spam attacks a few weeks ago, and because of that new members have a low post limit per day. Just keep maxing it out every day and you'll advance to a more liberal limit rather quickly.

Spamming to stop spam.

A new motto... I might just have to use that one.
