I must say, I completely and whole-heartedly agree with Gash in this case. I was likely one of the most guilty ones in this regard as, for a time, I was obsessed with expanding my group. Now, my stories, I think, were often interesting, but in most cases I made little excuse for why I was taking planets or crushing foes other than the tarzanic mantra of "Me Sith; Me Evil.".

Now when I write it is for writing's sake. It is for my own enjoyment as an artist, and writing is an art, and the enjoyment of any who might read it. It is an all together freeing experience and I suggest you all try it. Fleeting is over-rated, though if done correctly can be a great part of RPG. However, it is seldom done correctly.

Anyway, who wants my opinion, right?

Gash I'd like you to find a spot anywhere where I was bragging about how we were going to take down TNO. Peronally I wasn't even for the attack against TNO. I spent more time arguing against it then planning it.

This isn't about that. If you want to go onto that topic, start a new thread.

Personally, I have a lot of comments and arguments to add to this, but I don't have the time to take a full day to read, re-read and answer/work on all of my points. I agree with most everything that was posted (except for some of the truly stupid and quite perceivably out of place bull @#%$ that should have been deleted as it has not place and is quite off topic) but oh well. I will admit that I haven't been here for a long time, I never got into the really big threads, and the one that I did died at around 150 posts or to (with OS, WT, myself, Raven and a few others from TJO) and havent read any of those threads mentioned above, but still, this website is full of talent and SKILL as some people have had to take their tiny amount of ability in writing and been able to turn it into a piece of art, while others began good and became great because it was talent. I myself am one of the people who went from exceptional to good (not good to great, because I will never consider myself a great writer) taking my talent to greater heights with the help and criticisms of the people here. (TGC helped some, but not as much...). Anyways, Theren, good points, and I award points to just about everyone else, who I won't say because you can figure it out. I was sitting here for about an hour reading the whole thing, laughing my butt off and thinking how great a script this would have been for the most part for my speech and debate class to analyze. Take it to heart, but don't take it personal people.
