(Due to the sparseness of Lupercus, I'd like to see this RP closed. As such, I hope nobody minds if I take the liberty of jumping us forward a bit.)

Actually. Yes, yes I do somewhat.

I understand you are in a hurry to grab the planet for yourself Trinity, especially while Lup is away, but hold your horses there.

I shall give this some thought.

Yeah, we won't make the takeover offical until all sides consent.

That was somewhat arrogant of you, Drayson. For shame.

The thread has dragged on for seven months. As I understand it, there are no 'sides' involved: Vinda has no desire to prevent TNO from taking the planet. I hardly want to "grab the planet for myself", as you so... put, Seth. I want the thread to end. TNO has enough planets that we could stop doing takeovers entirely and probably remain the TRF powerhouse for years - if Almania was not at stake, I would be equally happy for this thread to end.

I simply have little interest in the thread. As I've said, it's dragging on and seems to be going nowhere. I want it to be over. With Lupercus absent, I've done the best I can to continue the story, but it's not my story to tell, nor his Lupercus Darksword my character to play. As such, I tried to end it in a conclusive manner that reflected Lup's initial ideas for the takeovers, i.e. the destruction of the Observer Order, the mass jailings of Almanian citizens, etc.

Quite frankly, it was a matter of either ending the thread, or having it continue with a round of posts every six months (when Lup shows his head) and last until 2010.

Vinda - Just so you know, I totally support what you are doing on Almania, and think it to be cool. I believe Props is the correct term, but perhaps Kudos is more in order. Not that I have anything to do with the entire situation, nor any sort of stake in the outcome or right to voice opinions, but it is cool that someone actually decided to try and do something about someone else doing something that they disagreed with.

If you want the thread to end, Isstal, withdraw.

There is an opposition involved. You can see that pretty plainly from looking at the thread.

It's a bit fecetious of you to not post anything on TRF for months and then return and declare a thread where you are engaged with an enemy "over" because you don't want to put in the effort to roleplay out a conclusion. That shit will not fly.

heh...

Well, I don't have any issues about 'ending' the thread , I just have issues with how you ended the thread.

I mean we're in the middle of a story! lol

besides whats the rush?...

I have no problem with working out a mutually beneficial outcome.

Leave your post for now, I'll give it some thought.

Ahnk: there WAS no opposition - VC never had any intention of taking the planet, or preventing TNO from taking it. If that's not the case, then I'd like to hear it. So unless you going to take the time to do more than 'look at' the thread, don't bother trying to offer any insight.

Seth: if there's anything you'd like changed with regards to the written ending, let me know. I tried to make it fairly broad, but I figured it might need some tweaking... no problems there.

I apologize for cutting the story off, but I felt it would be more fair than leaving it hanging - at least this way it's a conclusive IC event.

I've read the thread, Isstal. Please remove your lips from your own colon.

As such, I tried to end it in a conclusive manner that reflected Lup's initial ideas for the takeovers, i.e. the destruction of the Observer Order, the mass jailings of Almanian citizens, etc.

Maybe you didn't read the posts in the thread you didn't make... but the other roleplayers are somewhat opposed to mass jailings and things of that nature.

In short, stop being a lazy ass and roleplay the thread out. You don't get what you want automatically simply because you don't want to wait.

As a matter of fact, Ahnk, I know Seth's feelings on those things.
