From the Offices of the Ierin del Forza, Viscount of Lattland
:::Colonel, TRE Navy
:Grand Inquisitor
History has shown that empires rise and fall, and nations thirve on economics. Such was the Old Republic, who without their massive trade routes would not have beenable to mintain their hold over the populated galaxy.
Thus it was with the original " Death Star"-dubbed so by the Rebel Alliance. The Galactic Empire, a massive conglomerate that stretched from one end of the galaxy to the other, relied on resources to survive.
In accordance with this law of materialistic survival, the Empre built the " Death Star," whose sole purpose was the break up dead planetoids and break them down into materials that could be used by first the Imperial Defense Fleet, and secodly the populace.
This station was destroyed wih all hands when the Alliance attacked it on its way to Yavin VI, which was scheduled for recyclng.
The diligent Imperial Center for Engineering and Supply built another recycling plant, above Endor, which was to be the base of operations for hte Outer Rim Detachment. This station had a shield or defense. It was attacked by the Rebels also, even after the brave defense of the station by the Moddell Sector Anti-Pirate Fleet.
The curret station in question is being hidden to avoid the fate of its last two brothers. It possesses massive amounts of equipment for breaking down more materials and feeding the dilpomatic staff and technical support personnel required to operate such a monstrous piece of machinery.
Whilst its proportions and location baffles the mind, its purpose is clear:
To act as a SELF-SUFFICIENT hub of intergalactic relations-better protected than any before it.
PS_EDit-I took thise summation from Imperial propganda in the movies and books, and others. If you look carefully, this would have been the opinion of a standard IMperial citizen on Coruscant during the reign of the Emperor and immediately thereafter. I was speaking a devout and fanaticly loyal IMperial citizen and soldier.
Do you really think I am that naive?>??"?

The Crown Prince of Hapes reclined and watched the string of accusations and counter accusations flying across the galaxy. When finally Galactic Press got a hold of him, he had only one statement to make.
"Lets just hope that this Viscount del Forza doesn't seriously believe what he just said. Methinks noone in the Galaxy is stupid enough to believe that, but if so, God help The Rogue Empire..."

*the emperor looks down at his flimsiplast and seems to be witholding a chuckle*
Well that uh...certainly is an interesting theory Inquisitor, thank you.
As for its secrecy...does one honestly expect me to offer the site of construction for a top secret installation? Of course it shall be a meeting point for the others in the galaxy, but there are those who do not value peace...for those who would strike it down just out of spite of myself.
When it is not quite so vulnerable, then it shall be revealed in its fullest. For those of my allies who specifically need its location, refer to me. Thank you.

Press Release:
The Republic would like to express it's sincere desire that said "Fiscunt del Foza" take a well needed lesson in history, as it is taught by the Republic, and every free institution in the galaxy -- even your own Rogue Empire. Unfortunately, while it would seem that del Foza recieved no education at all and no information regarding Rogue Imperial policies.
As such, his rather idiotic transmission has created several inconsistensies:

Emperor Fearsons: "What a feeble and horrific name the Empire had given this station."
Most Recent Transmission:"Thus it was with the original " Death Star"-dubbed so by the Rebel Alliance."
Emperor Fearsons: "The Rogue Empire shall never fire this weapon with the intent for an atrocity, that I vow. If the Republic is so concerned may they station troops on the station for their own defensive purposes."
Clearly, Emperor Fearsons understands this is a weapon.
Most Recent Transmission: "The diligent Imperial Center for Engineering and Supply built another recycling plan, above Endor, which was to be the base of operationfr te Outer Rim Detachment."
Despite admittedly poor spelling, obviously, del Foza has some form of delusion that the Death Star was a recycling system.

However, the Republic does not hold this against Emperor Fearsons or the Rogue Empire. Even the mightiest of Emperors cannot control their people. And, obviously, it is not against the law to be an ignorant, foolish, ill-informed savage.
But, should such absolutely untrue and patently moronic Imperial propaganda ever grace my holosuite again, Foza will personally pay for it.
The weapon which destroyed our beloved Alderaan is not a matter open for the spreading of ignorant, stupid lies originally propagated by the Emperor himself.

What they failed to remember, however, was that with these types of weapons, potential is always realized. The original Death Star had destroyed the planets of Despayre of Alderaan. The uncompleted second Death Star had reduced rebel starships to rubble in the void. World Devastators had turned large portions of Mon Calamari into a war-torn wasteland. The Galaxy Gun had destroyed the space city at Nespis VIII, Da Soocha V, Troopship Pelagia , Eclipse II and finally Byss itself. The sun crusher had destroyed Carida. Every single completed superweapon that had the capacity to destroy a planet had done so, regardless of intentions, and if nothing could be done, this time would be no different, driven on by megalomaniacs and their foolish apologists, those who allowed wishful thinking to blind them to the wild intent of the planet-killing space station which had been the source of so much meaningless death in the past generation. Every time the peaceful citizens of the galaxy had been introduced to this same brand of destruction en masse, the citizens had unanimously risen up against those fools who chose to wield it and eradicated them for their idiocy.

*the emperor smiled at the new Imperial propaganda thus entered*
This coming from a butcherer of innocents? One who slew innocent Geonosians and enslaved them, forcing 'Imperial Commerce' on them? And then destroying an alliance by murdering peaceful Rogue Imperial citizens coming to assist you? I do not think that you are in any position to point out atrocities Vice Admiral, seeing as it was your order that sanctioned such mass murders.
As to the Republic, it is requested that your presence come to the station, that you might fully come aware what it really is, and it's true potential. We choose not to use it as a weapon, but as I said, a convening point. This super laser that you do so fondly speak of Admiral, will not even be controlled by Rogue Imperial forces, but rather by a joint effort and allies.
Perhaps you are simply jealous that you did not begin construction of such an item?

Press Release:
I cannot fathom why it did not occur to myself or my advisors to use a a massive superlaser for a diplomatic watering hole.
Invitation accepted.

Press Release:
92 Geonosians killed, all hostile warriors who attacked first. "Forcible" Imperial Commerce is optional, and is currently revitalizing the Geonosian economy with the aid of 25 Imperial star systems who are each providing emergency relief packages, and will continue to do so until the Geonosian economy is stable and food production normalized.
The so-called relief force, actually a heavily armed task force, from TRE was lost due to human error on the part of the pilots, who blindly flew into the hyperspace equivalent of razor wire during the operation to liberate Geonosis. Further, the composition of the heavy assault force suggests that its intentions were hostile, and as heavy handed as this new superweapon which the Warlord Fearsons shall soon use to begin a campaign of extermination and murder

Broadcast on All Frequencies Directly From HothCitizens of the galaxy... the transmission flickered slightly as the ship it was being transmitted from juked to avoid a laser blast.
I am here, in the Hoth system. The Rogue Empire has ordered me to surrendur to them... it flickered again, more severly this time
I am afraid that I may not make it, so I listen to me now.
The Rogue Empire's Death Star is almost complete! This photo was taken over Hoth just minutes ago!
This is our most desperate hour... citizens, unite! The transmission cut out.

*at the picture he seemed slightly confused*
Did I not just say it was nearing completion? Did I not just welcome all governments to come and inspect this station? To surrender over the super laser to neutralist factions? Appauling that you try to unite against me when I am in actuality landing soldiers there from several different factions for the sake of diplomacy.
