*without further adue, the form of Emperor Fearsons comes abroad, and he steps casually up to a podeum several stories up upon the Rogue Imperial Palace. He clears his throat. The transmission is galactic wide.*

Greetings good denizens of the Rogue Empire, and those beyond our borders whom I make this announcement to. You have seen the Rogue Empire hurdle great jumps and feats in the past few years, you have seen them rise to the pinnacle of glory, and have seen them easily step asside when another made a bid for power, you saw us easily turn down galactic dominance for the sake of temporary pacifism, committing what has been called the 'Neutralist Act of Despayre', where we have attempted, quite continuously, to maintain at peace with all other factions of the galaxy.

I know you then bring up the IDTech Scandal, but they are not a political division, but are rather an outlaw organization that will be replaced with a Rogue Imperial selected leader, one who can be more faithful to both the Tholatin Republic and her axis.

What this announcement concerns is a spectacular battle station that is about to be commenced however, a space station with a long dreaded history. I am sure you can guess simply by the tone of my voice and the subtle hints I offer you that this space station is the dreaded 'Death Star'...Death Star...what a feeble and horrific name the Empire had given this station.

Rather shall this station be used as a diplomatic meeting center, where all our forces, all our allies, all our galactic
leaders may meet and convene. This shall be a grand representation of peace, justice, and order.

Never again shall we be haunted by terrorists, or pirates, or murderers, like the renegade Freedom Guard of Alderaan, or the evil Chimera Syndicate with this magnificent station, a place in which all leaders are welcome, a place of peace, and a place in which we can defend our allies as well as ourselevs.

My friends, I give you Jileeak Station, the diplomatic HQ of the galaxy.

Press Release: (leaked unofficially to three major Coruscant news agencies):

One must question the validity of Emperor Fearsons' claim.

Granted, the use is noble, and Fearsons has frequently professed to humanitarian motives. But that does not erase the fact that said "Jileeak Station" totes a superlaser with the power to destroy a world. Weapons like that aren't built for diplomatic headquarters.

Would not have a simple diplomatic facility on a planet sufficed? The New Republic government has found that it's buildings on the Capital Triad -- Corellia, Coruscant, and Csilla -- have proved quite useful as neutral meeting points.

Why does a station designed to resolve conflict without weapons bear the largest weapon in all the galaxy?

*the relay from the press was instant, and the emperor took a moment to gather his thought*

The answer to your inquiry is simple my friend. As it stands there are those who refuse peace, who refuse talks, who refuse the civil way of life. Those terrorists, as we have seen in the past, attempt ever so humanelessly to strike at peaceful targets, targets where one may convene and speak.

What better way to defend galactic leaders than with a weapon that will most easily repel any survile assault? Nay shall this super laser be operated by Rogue Imperial Hands unlses under a Section 1B Hostility Case.

For those of you who are not in the Imperial Military and know not what a Section 1B Hostility Case is, it is a time in which brute force is instituted against non-threatening targets. This was seen against the New Alliance during the Almanian Wars with the Death's Hand, never shall it or the space station be used offensively.

The media war continued. Our "annonymous" press secretary was none other than New Republic Ubiqtorate leader Kasien Treseda, and while such petty wars of words were distained, he carried on nonetheless.

Press Release:

Such contradictory statements. Now, it seems that this is not just a diplomatic neutral ground, but a border defense. How many other undisclosed uses will this Death Star find?

And while our Rogue Imperial friends continue to spout such nonsensical hatred about the honorable New Alliance, the Republic would like to remind Mr. Fearsons that the New Alliance is now part of the Republic, and the esteemed High Admiral Joren Logan is held in the highest regard. And also, that the Rogue Empire is the single institution in all of the galaxy that maintains that the New Alliance was anything but an organization dedicated to good.

If our good Mr. Fearsons can contends that such benign, passive, honorable groups as "brutal" and tyrannical, then there be no doubt that the use of this horrific weapon of war will be justified, regardless of the ends it is put to work for.

A frightening prospect, indeed. Emperor Fearsons is advised to watch his words -- but more so, his actions. The power to kill trillions in seconds is difficult to put to a "good" use. Such absolute and terrible power can only bring death and destruction, as has been demonstrated over and over in history.

May it be said then *the emperor began* that it should not be the Republic to judge the ways of the Rogue Empire, who was seen with their lack of action during the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of our galaxy?

I stated that the space station shall be used in defense of those attempting to tribune on the station, should worst come to worst the station shall be used to fend off evil, though I and the war council understand it is not our right or priveladge to forename what is "right and wrong", but that must be agreed upon.

The Rogue Empire shall never fire this weapon with the intent for an atrocity, that I vow. If the Republic is so concerned may they station troops on the station for their own defensive purposes.

Now also let it be known that we hold know grudges against Admiral Logan, my good friend is a well respected man, and deserves every award and title bestowed on him. I refer rather to the Freedom Guard, who broke up into chaotic circles after the decline of the New Alliance...with their constant terror attacks on Rogue Imperial territories.

Press Release:

As the Emperor Fearsons pleases.

What the supposed "invasion" of this paltry Yuuzahn Vong offshoot has to do with the fact that the Rogue Empire has created a weapon of mass destruction, is beyond my comprehension.

But I am merely a press secretary.

The creation of that weapon will bring only trouble, as it always has. Emperor Fearsons is wished luck in dealing with it, as it is his to deal with.

Private Message to Emperor Fearsons:

This is a private channel. It cannot be traced. The source has already been destroyed, as has the relay station which will make triangulation impossible.

The creation of that battlestation was foolhardy. It's mere creation puts the Rogue Empire at more risk than can be compensated by it's might. And whatever use you find for it, it will doubtless only attract more trouble for you and your ilk.

You are warned, and wished luck. The Republic will not be caught in the middle.

This so called 'Jileeak Station' is a true testament to the evil of the Rogue Empire. What does a 'peaceful' faction like the Rogue Empire need with a planet-destroying superlaser?

They will look to this station to further their goals of galactic domination. Emperor Fearsons has said that this station will provide a neutral meeting ground.

Today, ladies and gentlemen, I will visit Emperor Fearsons aboard this station and find the truth behind its existance.

I bid thee farewell.

<!--EZCODE BOLD START--> Outer-Rim Federation Press Release<!--EZCODE BOLD END--> (Official):

The Rogue Empire has repeatedly demonstrated their ability to flaunt their power and forces. The construction of the dispicable Death Star is proof of this. ORF is determined to stay neutral throughout the upcoming conflicts but will be on guard.

"Sir, sir, Mr. Raktus sir, a quick question.."
"Fine, but hurry it up, im busy"
"Have you heard Emperor Fearsons announcement yet? and if so your reaction?"
"Yes, I quite heard the announcement. My reaction? He can blow it out his ass for all I care"

NovaTech Industries - Press Release

Two decades ago, a powerful space station came into existance at the whim of the evil Emperor Palpatine. This battlestation proceeded to destroy the world of Alderaan, and only the bravery of the Rebel Alliance saved Yavin IV from a similar fate. Four years later, the starion was reseructed, bigger and more powerful than before. Once again, the Rebels managed to thwart Emperor Palpatine's plans, at great cost to themselves.

Since then we have seen to many examples of planet destroying superweapons: the Elipse and Sovergien, the Galaxy Gun, the Darksaber, the Sun Crusher.

And each has been stopped, and we thought that the worst was over.

Emperor Fearson's has admitted to the construction of the dreaded Death Star. And while he claims it to be a 'peaceful meeting ground' only his closest allies are allowed to know the location of this superweapon.

He calls it a diplomatic headquarters. I ask you, what need has a diplomatic institution need of a superlaser? For that matter, what need does Emperor Fearsons need of a Death Star?

This is an obvious attempt to bring the galaxy more tightly under his control. NovaTech Industries wishes to inform all that we will remain neutral in whatever may come of this.

By building himself a Death Star, Emperor Fearsons has effectively signed his own Death Warrent.
