Common sense as in 'They can have only <Insert number ships>' and if they call in an absurd amount of ships, then simply start another RP as your ships send out communications to attack their now obviously weakened flanks as soon as possible ;)

Or contact the staff at which point that person will be severely mocked and insulted for his God-modship. *nods* And I agree with Recon that you should really avoid fleeting. And you won't find fleeting with the Jedi anyways since for the most part they are a 'Story based/Duel based' group. IE Organized plots and battles against Sith.

But if you really want to, you can always contact a faction if you want to make a fleeter. Dolash has a new idea for the GC going on that will start a lot of opportunities for that with GC, and TNO is a bunch of imperical conquering bastards so their always looking for meatshie-er-capable officers. :)

I'm sorry if I sound like I'm ignoring your opinions/suggestions, etc. But the time/alter-time travel is a major device in the plot. There's no story without it. Plus I've spent a long, long while thinking up this character and I think you'd all understand if I'm slightly miffed at getting the idea shoved off so easily.

Oh, and I am making a new character.

Easily? Hardly. We've done everything within the realm of imagination to find some common ground. But perhaps the mistake was in plotting out your character before getting a good idea of what will and what won't fly here. I understand you're being miffed, as I'm sure others do. What we don't have is sympathy for your being miffed. Miffed is a way of life at TRF.

Most professional writers have to meet the agenda's of a publisher and/or editor. Consider it like that; but it seems you're just not willing to compromise.

So, good luck with your new attempt.

The problem is that the hiccup in question is that you want to travel time via the force. If we allow every roleplayer who registered a TRF account the day previous to do that, we would have a major shitstorm to clean up.

...more major, I mean.

If you want suggestions on a new character or questions about the rules, hit me up privately via the contact information in the Staff Contact Thread (preferably my MSN) and we can work something out. Until then all this tet-a-tet isn't doing anyone any good, so I'm going to close this. Good luck in your future endeavours at TRF Mr. Kevinlongname.
