I’ve been struggling to find a community on ezboard – the hack chased a lot of SW boards away…
Yeah, my old VC board didn't escape...all those old Rp's ...*sniff*

I’m very happy I tracked this one down.
Well, so are we, you seem like a good writer, so we definately wish for you to stay.
Thats aside from any Jedi peeps... *eyes irtar sobbing* heh

Is there a board story line, or are all the RPs mostly independent?
Mostly stories are indepedant, but TRF has a good history of 'interfactionary mutli-plotline roleplays' there is a big one currently underway in the battlegrounds, 'Legacies - Alpha Ex Omega' of which there is a second part already started.

Actually, it also serves as a good way of learning the 'current political climate' of the galaxy, should you be interested.

*thinks of the lost ez-board RPs and sniffs as well* I’m sorry to hear about your board, Seth. I was heartbroken when the hack hit – I lost a great deal of my own work, and boards that were legendary for their writing – like… The Oaken Dawn – decided to pick up and leave as opposed to face the threat of having years of collective plot line annihilated.

… Now, the SW boards are few and far between.

Oh well, I’m rambling – no sense in dwelling in the past.

I am very excited to be here. A lot of work has gone into the design of the board, the ideas I’ve come across are thoughtful and innovative – very impressive.

Thank you for the thread name, by the way – I’ll defiantly checking it out.

Thou art from the Oaken Dawn?

O joyous day! O happy occasion! Truly a wonder it is to have thyself a member of our esteemed community. Alas! It saddens my heart to know the vicious delinquents of the internet so cruelly destroyed the art of the Dawn, and yet hope remains as long as its members fight on.

Sir Wallace and I have long been comrades and friends, and it does my heart good to see those of his kin still remain. Any friend of Wallace is a friend of myself, and I bid thee my lady, take thy humble servant's respect and admiration in the most joyous of ways.

Ahem, yes...so yeah. Word up to the Oaken Dawn.

A kindred! How blessed! How Grand!

… Good Sir, thy sight is a welcome one indeed. How fortunate am I, to venture ‘cross the heavens to places strange and new, and find an old comrade in you. Thou art gentile and kind to lift my spirits and remind of beauteous Othalla – a world so splendid, fair…

Bravo for speaking Wallace’s name – my most treasured friend and mentor. The good sir took me under his wing when I was but a fledgling. If you give me a name he’ll recognize, I’ll be sure to send your regards the next time I write to him.

(Mwahs back to Seth... ;) )

P.S. Zark has Oaken Dawn fever. Watch out, he might start spouting poetry soon ;)

Secrets have been kept, and secrets shall now be told. Unbeknownst to my community, I once went under the guise of Sir Mavius of clan Narshak, first disciple of Sir Wallace McGreggor, and an outcast still undergoing the pangs of failed redemption. In his wisdom and kindness, Sir Wallace hast forgiven me for my dissapearance. I, however, have not been so kind to my conscience, and what could have been still haunts me to this day.

Yet I despair not! For I have gained some repentance in the long and prosperous time I have spent amongst those here at the Rebel Faction. Let their barbaric tongue fool thou not, for they are good of heart and admirable of virtue. All except for Sir Beff Pike, a ruffian and a scoundrel. Do not trust this man anywhere near thy loins, for surely he shall take advantage.

I must apologize for my basic grasp on the tongue of old. I have spent so much time amongst those of the lesser language that mine own grasp of the fair speech has waned. Hopefully, with thy continued presence, in time my voice shall grow fairer yet, as it had in days of old.

It would do my heart good to have Sir Wallace know of my continued presence and continued writing. It would do my soul good for him to know that I have not failed myself fully, though he, in his kindess, would never once claim so. I thank thee with all of my heart.
