OOC: I'd agree with John. I very much took those to be Trade Federation facilities as well as those of the other groups supporting Dooku. The Geonosians themselves didn't look all that sophisticated technologically speaking to me. In regards to what you ICQ'd me, I personally would take "Geonosian" ships to be those built there. Sort of like "the big Corellian Ships" Solo speaks of in ANH. But I could always be wrong.
Along those same lines, who are we to say what development occured on the planet after the battle. Those facilities could have been destroyed, or continually used and updated. Or perhaps the Geonosians began using those themselves, stepping forward technologically much like the Gand did when the Republic discovered thier world. As far as I know, we don't know, there isn't any history of it yet. Maybe we'll hear about it in Ep III. So, enough OOC debate, let's get back to the

OOC: Until I see true evidence that the Geonosians have no capacity to produce fighters (and LucasFilm and LucasArts are very emphatically saying that they DO have such capacity, probably moreso than any other species), the fighters stay.

OOC
As I stated before, the troops having been launched were from the Imperial-Class Star Destroyer Wraith.
Note I'll be posting in this post soon, don't bother deleting.

"We should be safe down here for a while..." John looked around, making sure that Jander hadn't gotten lost on the way down this mazework, his scouts keeping an eye on the other one, making sure he didn't get lost either. They were inside what was left of a massive facgtory complex, but it looked like most of the machienry had been pulled out all ready, although most of the connection ports wetre still in place, and the equipment could be put back into operation quickly if there was a need.
He lit the fire quietly, hiding in the remnants of a storage silo. He sat down resting against the stonework quietly, studying the hologram. It was in miniature....but it was obviously a planet. "These little critters are almost maddening with their tunnels...The entire subsurface is a mazework of deadfalls, switchbacks and dead end tunnels, but there are connections in th tunnel networks. I was able to put this together from information from various clan elders of the Geonosian HIves. No one Hive has total dominance, but from combining their information together, we were able to put this together. "
John enlarged the map, showing Jander the specific section they were in, highlighterd in red against the blue of the rest of the map. "The red areas are ones that my people have confirmed. There aren't a lot of us here, and there are six or seven billion cubic miles to deal with. My theory would be that the Federation had the little critters dig massive repositories, stockpiles with access to a spaceport, so as to load the cargo easily. THere seems to be some kind of interference, its keeping sensors from scanning the subsurface, i have my scouts actually mapping the place as they go. we have less than a tenth of a percent of the subsurface mapped, this could take quite a while, and with those darling garrisons above, things could get treacherous."
"Jander, if i am right and there are stockpiles hidden in the tunnels, i don't want to think about what kind of firepower could be guarding them. This could get wicked quick.... "

<font color=green>Looking left, looking right, there was nothing. The Jedi had scampered off like worried rats, and the bounty hunter now stood alone in the arena. Judging by the current catastrophe of the planet he'd called him for the last month he was ready to begin wreacking some of his own havoc.
The Rogue Empire would not have Geonosis and the Empire would not have Geonosis. It was sacred to the bounty hunter and he would defend it with his very life.
"Blithering idiots," he said to himself ever so quietly as his fingers rummaged through one of his many containers on his belt. When he finally found the small transceiver he popped it up in his right hand and clicked the button three times, the signal to the Slave I.
It took the ship a moment to arrive but it did not matter to Boba, he was busy readying his equipment anyway. A resounding click echoed through the arena as he popped one of the magazines into his strangely sawed off rifle, the rustling of his leather holster as the hand held blaster was placed in there, at his side.
A quick check of his jet pack made sure the fuel was at full, made sure it was strapped on tight, and made sure it was fitted snuggly enough for him to fly without charring his legs.
Then the typical hovering of his old Firespray-Class Patrol Craft whined out overhead. His ride was here.
So the Imperials were attempting to turn the old facilities into a garrison. Did the fools actually know these garrisons? Those questions were contemplated by Fett as he climbed into the Slave I.
He clicked on the comms unit then, "Attention Imperials...this is Boba Fett of the Slave I, have you any need of assistance?"

The commander of the RMS Wraith shrugged as the Empire began pulling in the empty transports, leaning over the comm link, clicking on a specific button.
"Do the Imperials have a problem with our Mist Force?"

Rear Admiral Siather Det'aan aboard the DSSD Sadistic Mist listened as the message came through from Genosis, he immediately started giving orders.
"Prepare the fleet for lightspeed. Set our nav-computer to calculate a jump the Genosis and once it is done transmit it to the rest of the fleet." Siather said to his executive officer as he turned his attention to other tasks.
Just as the middle aged human was about to leave the young Gand turned to face him again.
"Also order all fighters to standby. I want them to be ready if we have to get right into a fight."
The Mist Fleet started gliding out of the system slowly while the massive Sadistic Mist calculated their jump. The Disruptor Class Super Star Destroyer transmitted the coordinates and they were ready.
"Order the fleet to begin entering Hyperspace starting with the Lancers and working up in size until we are only here and then we will follow."
The entered hyperspace and was on their way.

The captain smiled as the last of the Mist Fleet's forces came riding into the system. They had been famed with many endeavors, such as the savior of Ylesia, the dreadful Battle of Nal Hutta, and a temporary triumph at Nar Shadda. Furthermore they had been at every single major battle against the New Alliance and the Chimeran Syndicate.
Admiral Det'aan had been most reliable in countless cases. Captain Evisceros was glad to have them on his side.
"Welcome to Geonosis my friends," he said into the comm uplink as the last few ships slowly came out of hyperspace with the rest of the fleet.
"Thanks for giving us a hand, no telling what the Geonosians have on that planet."

OOC: *sighs* Do we always have to degenerate into this stuff? Not only turning it into yet another fleet thread, but now bickering over stupid stuff. Siather and his fleet would have known well that there Abolishers, and probably should have had a pretty good idea of their locations, since your not jamming communications. Chadd said they came in with the rest of his ships, and I seriously hope he'd have the intelligence not to keep his ships inside the Abolisher fields. It really doesn't make a difference to me, but let's please keep this from getting any stupider, aka yet another "how many ships can I bring and how many loopholes can I find in the other guys writing" thing.
IC: Sunstar and the human were just leaving the stadium as Fett's ship cruised in low to land on the stadium floor. As it passed closely the Gand cocked his head to the side. He was having one of the feelings he sometimes had, that there was something beyond the obvious odd about the Firespray. He hadn't had exactly this feeling since he'd been to Mykyr, when Talon Karrde had his operation there.
He shrugged it off and followed the human. They hadn't known each other for too long, but while definately an odd one, John knew what he was doing, and there was something vaguely familiar about him. But then, as of late everything was reminding Jander of his past, why should the older human be any different. He followed and listened to Sheridan, happy to have another here with him in these crazy events. The Gand nodded as John finished, already trying to think of possible actions to take.
"Right John, that's pretty much what I'd seen since I've been here. Glad to see your here, I'd thought it might have been your men I was seeing signs of. So what do you think, where should we start?" He pointed out a few areas in the hologram, "I've checked out these areas, what you've said is true of them as well."

"From the passageways that were hidden and rediscovered by one of my tech teams this morning, i think that their is a secondary web of tunnels, one that lies underneath and around the existing ones. One of my techs reported a distinctive sound, a repeating buzzing sound, like the kind some of the old power generators make when they are overtaxed. I sent a couple of teams down to take a look, they should be arriving at the locations i specified any time now."
"As it is, one of my teasm found this early this morning." John turned the holgraphic projector to a large storage room, severl hundred meters long, and almost a hundred meters high. It was filled with assembled battle droids, fully charged and awaiting orders. They were in storage mode at the time, but they were there. There were MTTs and STAPs, all the trimmings for a suitable ground war.
"This bothers me becuase i am not sure what else there is down here, and everything seems to be waiting for an activation signal. THis could be one giant trap...."
