ooc: This is basically a character development for Logray. Open to all.

ic:

The plains of Naboo, they were...serene, to say the least. Some would even consider them beautiful. If they dared to even glance at them. It was a pity, really, that many do not appreciate their sight until it was lost to them. A pity, that that was the case, it seems, with everything.

It was upon one of these plains that he sat. The little ewok Jedi. He sat, meditating and thinking on this galaxy and its people. He had left the city, left it for the calm here. Away from the loudness of the city, to this quiet place. Here, he could think, and not be disturbed. He had taken with him only his Jedi robes and, of course, his lightsaber. He came here so that he could train, but he here merely to think. To think and to be alone.

Perhaps not in the sense of being by himself. More like being away from so many people. Away from the sounds of the city. Away from the tension that he felt within the city. And this much relieved him, to be away from there. To just be able to breathe calmly was a gift.

That was when the wind picked up, its cool breeze brushing against the ewoks hair.

He stood. He really didn't think of a reason why. He just stood up. And soon he began walking. He didn't bother to figure where he was going. He just decided to walk. He didn't decide for how long, he just decided to walk. Such was the process it seemed. He would stand, and soon walk in a random direction.

~Two Days Later~

The storm had grown worse. It had lasted for hours, perhaps longer. The rain drops pounded the small stream that was next to him. It was not large enough for a river, though it most certainly larger then a puddle. At least, that was as much as the ewok could tell.

He had his cloak closed about him, his white Jedi robes barely visible beneath the black void that surrounded him. His robes didn't hinder the rain much at all, and he stood soaked completely, save for a few places upon him. The rain, it seemed, would not end for a long time.

He had decided that he would attempt to find some sort of a shelter, or something that would at least slow the downpour. So he decided to listen for the sounds of any sort of life that had decided to attempt the same thing he was doing. Though they had the advantage of sight, as he did not. He soon sensed some commotion not to far from himself, and he increased his pace to catch up with it.

It was one of the many species of Naboo, a small animal. It was moving rather fast as it tried to get out of the rain. This much Logray could tell as began to catch up with it.

One Week Later

He stood upon a large hill, just letting the breeze brush against his face. He began to listen around him, only now realizing a large beast of some sort, that had come up behind to a more favorable place to graze. Logray laughed, sensing it through the force.

He turned toward it, his hands facing the large animal. Focusing deeply, his brow creased. The animal began to lift, hover in the air only about a foot above the hill. Its head darted around, its face showing both surprise and excitement.

Logray laughed at the animals surprise as he lowered it again. He fell down on his knees as he began to rest. His power in the force was growing, but he had a ways to go.

He could sense it. All of it. Logray stood in the middle of a clearing in a forest, surrounded by an assortment of leaves and twigs and stones. Atop a nearby tree, a bird fed its young, while two bears walked only a few feet away, searching for food. Next to him, and insect began to chew on some of the dead leaves.

And soon he sensed it. The weapon of the Jedi. His weapon. He had used the force to send it off into the forest, in an effort to train his abilities in the force. No more then three hours later, he had found it. But that was only step one.

He focused on the object, and, with the motion of his left hand, it began to lift. He began to focus even more upon the lightsaber, focusing on its size, its weight, everything. And that was he reached. Or rather, reached out with the force.

The button that was upon the lightsaber click, followed by a quick snap and low humming. Logray began to focus more, lifting it higher into the air. There was suddenly a louder hum, and then the sound of something hitting the forest floor. The fruit rolled a few paces away, cleaved from the branch that held it.

The lightsaber deactivated, its master and it dropping to the ground. Logray was breathing heavily from the exercise, as he soon lost focus on the world around him. He moved a few steps, leaning against a nearby tree, resting himself.

Five months had passed since he came here. Five long months in tranquility. In the peace of it all. This excursion and lifted many of the burdens off his shoulders, it allowed him to relax. Something he hasn't been able to do in a long time.

He had no true idea where he was, what was the closest city. Frankly, he didn't care. He knew he would have to return. But not yet. He wasn't ready. At least, not yet.

He was holding on to the cliff side, advancing himself slowly. He wasn't using the force to aid him in any way, as he pulled himself up hire. In truth, it was hard for him. Others larger then him usually didn't bother. But he continued up, about two thirds up the cliff. He could here the sound of a nearby waterfall next to him, and he made a mental note not to stray to close. One wrong move, and all his training would be for nothing.

Three Weeks Later

Night had fallen, a trail of smoke coming from the fire he had created. It was warm, and made the cold night much easier to bear. The ewok sat, letting the heat brush against him. He had been training himself in the force, and had wandered for many miles. He was alone, save for a few local animals of the planet. He could sense things, and had learned things he had never known of before. There was a strong gust of wind, and the flames were quickly disappeared. Logray had left again.

His cloak was wrapped about him as he continued in the night, wandering the land again, not sure when he would stop again. He listened for any sounds from anyone else.

It was nothing more than a small village in Naboo's countryside. Scarsely populated, small shops, very little. Logray was walking along the dirt path when he passed by one of the small stores. Nothing truly special.

There was a loud noice of blaster fire and a scream. Out of the door burst five humanoids, one a carrying a sack in one hand, and a blaster pistol in another. The others had one holstered next to them.

At the sounds Logray spun around to face their direction. Using the force to enhance his speed, he chased after them, closing in on them in a few seconds.

This is a perfect time to test this out.

He dropped his lightsaber behind before running in front of their path. They stopped.

The one in front, holding the blaster pistol and the sack, apparently the leader. He stepped forward laughing.

"Hey look, the little bear is trying to stop us!"

Logray responded, meanwhile focusing on his lightsaber, "I would suggest you drop your weapons and whatever it is you stole."

It hung in five feet in the air behind them, pointed towards the leader's back.

"No, actually, I think we won't," the leader smiled, raising his blaster as the others proceeded to unholster theirs.

"Your mistake."

There was a hiss and a low humm as the lightsaber came to life, flying through air and piercing the thief's back. Logray quickly lept forward, grabbing his lightsaber out of the falling man's back in the process, and delivered a quick slash to one of the thieves on the left. The body fell to the ground, its head follow suit. He quickly ran to the right, and using the wall to help, leaped upwards, cutting the arm off of one of the others. As he landed, he swung it again, cutting off the legs off of another theif, just below the knee. He cut the last one's right leg off and then followed through with the hand holding the blaster pistol.

He grabbed the sack, and began walk alway from the bloody scene back to the store.
