Corran watched Ardin jump at the Dark Jedi. With a howl of fury.

With a wince he saw Ardin go down. With a wicked smile the Dark Jedi advanced on him. Corran reached out and grabbed the force letting it help him vault in front of Ardin Almost with out thinking he raised his blade crosswise to to black a slice that would have decapitated Ardin. Then he counter attacked with a volley of stabs and parrys. Not a single one of his hits landed but not a single one of the dark jedis its landed either.

"Get up Ardin. I need you to help me."

Ardin placed a hand to his nose to stop it from bleeding. He struggled to his feet and placed both hands on his lightsaber hilt. He stood next to Corran.

"I'm....sorry..." He said.

"Well since he's busy enough know and not about to do something to us you get the right I'll take the left. And Remember feel the force. You could've been able to detect him attacking you except you attacked in rage. Know go."

Ardin scowled but said nothing. Instead he struck to the right, as Corran told him too.

*Corran sent a menal message to Ardin over when to attack.*

*He then brought his sabre up in a Stab at the dark jedi's Kidney.*

Ardin kicked out savagely, hitting the Dark Jedi in the chest, just as Corran stabbed. The Dark Jedi blocked Corran's stab but he took Ardin's kick.

He flew back and his lightsaber flew off into the darkness.

Ardin hept his lightsaber up to his neck. But when Corran approached, Ardin backed off and stood by the prisoner.

Corran approached the Dark Jedi and turned off his saber motioning for Ardin to do the same he looked down at his prisoner.

"So Thrane, what should I do with you? Kill you like you killed my father? Fall into a rage and go on a killing spree?" asked Corran his tone slightly mocking

Thrane lifted his neck to show it was not covered.

"There it is there's my neck. This is what you've wanted for so long. Why else did you hound me across the galaxy?" he replied

"Tsk, tsk thrane." Corran tuted "I'm a jedi I don't believe in killing. The old Corran might have but not the new one." Without turning to look at Ardin he said. "What do you think we should do with him Ardin?"

This question was more of a test than anything else. He wanted to see if Ardin had fallen to the Darkside. His earlier actions suggested he might but he didn't know for sure. Corran carefully shielded this thought in case Ardin had been trying to sense what he was thinking.
