"You are weak!"

He drew on the darkside and pushed the body parts away from himself and to the wall where they clattered to the ground. He smirked at her before walking over and undoing the straps that tied her down. SHe would not be able to harm him.

"Give into the darkside and have power beyong your wildest dreams."

With a flick of his wrist he sent her flying across the room to slam into a wall. He stood, his lightsaber at his side and his sweat and blood covered body facing her. She would give in, or she would die.

There it was, the ragdoll treatment. If he kept it up, she would become a ragdoll quite litterally.

Power? Raven had no liking for it, even as a child. She didn't like responsibility, and, ironically enough, she had her gifts which gave a power. A power that she was held responsible for, held accountable for.

Raven managed sit up from being tossed into the wall, leaning heavily on her least effected arm, and grinned, looking up at the sith.

"I want so little. Can you fathom the idea? What I want is freedom to think and feel the way I want to, and not have people shoving their ideas down my throat. To not be told to hold my tongue, or to keep my feelings bottled up. That, is what I want. That's it." She told him, voicing what could very much be a fantasy that she could never have.

Zerxes pulled her to him with the Force and grabbed her neck. Holding her very close to his face, he smiled and spoke in a manner that was meant to be reassuring.

"Ahh, my dear. As a Sith, you have the right to do whatever you want. No one except the Jedi will try and stop you from doing what you please."

He licked her lips with his tongue and smiled. He was hungry. Not hungry in the sense that he wanted to eat food. And fine food it would be here. He was hungry for her. He lsuted for her to join him. To join him in the darkside.

She could be forever his. She could become powerful at his side and rule over the part of the galaxy they could conquer. Taking back the Tholatin Republic from his insolent little brother they could rule forever.

Being seduced by the darkside....the translation of that very idea could be taken anywhere a mind traveled.

He wanted her, that much was clear. He would do anything to get her, even ending the pathetic life she was so far leading.

And to be offered a chance to life a fairy-tale, when she knew very well it could lead to disaster.

It was like one of her old friends told her - A life lived in fear, is a life half lived.

Raven grinned, the very thought of independence amusing her.

"I get to have the pleasure of beating down the competion?" she asked, with a mischievous twinkle in her eyes.

Zerxes smiled.

"And I might add easily."

He let go of her and circled around her. She was beautiful and he was positive she would become a good Sith. He could teach her to become powerful in the Sith ways. Teach her the ethics of the darkside.

"You could destroy them easily. Now, will you join me?"

Raven slowly watched as he walked around, a smirk upon her face. She was amused at the fact that he could easily add to the competion that she would endup facing, which wasn't surprising in the least. So far, the two of them had been adversaries, and that would probably continue.

Though, if she joined him, she would be his ally. While she amused him, he would have no reason to destroy her. Of course, she was going to test him at every turn, just to see how he thought, reacted, and the like.

"Yes, I will." Raven replied, her smirk remaining upon her face as she glanced down at what used to be her snowsuit. That snowsuit simply had to go. It wouldn't do too well in her current environment of jungle-like forests and humid temperatures.

"Why do you always have to have things spelled out for you?" she asked, raising an amused eyebrow up at him.

Zerxes smirked and snapped his fingers. The doors to the room opened and one of the workers stepped in. Bowing he looked back to his leader for instruction.

"Take her to her room where she can find some new clothing."

"Yes, sir."

"Then bring her to the dining chamber."

Zerxes ushered her to the man and the two departed for a room. He went to the dining hall and ordered dinner and if he didn't have it fast heads would roll. The triumverate would be happy about this.

The guard nudged her forward, with Raven tumbling forward a few steps.

"Don't do that again. I chose the pace we walk, not you." She told him, gritting her teeth.

Why did they always nudge or shove in one of the more painful sides of her body? Raven merely rolled her eyes in annoyance, and kept walking down the hall, with the guard murmuring directions this time, instead of shoving her when it was time to turn. It was an improvement, to say the least. The guard must have been well acustomed to working here, aiming to please, or dieing.

The two of them were almost there when a pair of guards were wrestling with another one of the prisoners. Raven smiled in amusement, since the young prisoner, a woman appearing to be close to her own age had been fighting them off with an odd sort of toy that seemed to fly from a string.

"You're not supposed to be here!" one of the guards told the girl, and Raven chuckled.

The toy flew out again, and the hard plastic was caught between Raven's fingers, an amused smirk on her face.

"Ah, crap!" the girl cursed, sighing as she rolled her dark eyes in resonation, yanking the string off her fingers, and tossing the string in Raven's direction.

Raven gazed at the toy, raising an eyebrow in puzzlement. The girl held two guards at bay with a simple child's toy. The guards were pulling the girl away, seeing that the girl was crying.

"Stop." Raven commanded, seeing the trio pause. The girl sniffled, wipping her nose on a sleeve.

"Let her go. I'll keep an eye on her myself." Raven continued. The guards reluctantly let the girl go, seeing the girl in question flash a smile, then stick out a tongue at the guards.

Raven nodded to her own guard, who then opened the door.

"You stay outside." she told the guard, gesturing with a hand that the girl enter first.

She heard the girl whistle as whirled around, taking note of everything in the room itself.

"I used to be as young as you." Raven murmured, fingering the toy in her hands.

The girl stoped whirling, and gave Raven a nod, not too sure what to do for fear of the one who spoke to her.

Raven took note of the interior of the room herself, noting it was rather simple in decor, and that it came with a shower, at the very least.

"Begging your pardon m'am for talking out of turn and being blunt, but you look like you've been run over by a herd of banthas." the girl told Raven, only to have Raven laugh.

It had been too long since she heard someone speak to her like that, and the concept of once again being treated that royalty intrigued Raven, whom had only chuckled again, as she glanced down at her ruined snowsuit.

"I suppose you're right, miss..." Raven paused, frowning.

"Maavis, Maa..vis Andrade." The girl replied, stammering.

Raven nodded, and sighed.

"I seem to be in a bit of a bind. I've been invited to dinner, and I don't have much time." Raven murmured, seeing the girl whirl into action.

"Oh, I get it! You want me to find something cleaner to wear? I think I know just the one! I've been told I have quite the eye for these sort of things." Maavis told her in a rush, giggling.

Raven nodded.

"Well, something simple, I think should do it. I've been through hell in the past few hours, and I don't want to press my luck, or his patience any further than necessary."

Maavis nodded, giving Raven a grin, once again caught in a fit of giggles.

Raven frowned and rose an eyebrow in puzzlement, wondering, out of all possibilities, if the girl was driven insane by the extent of her stay, or, if she had been that way to begin with. All Raven could do at this point, was sigh, and head towards the shower, thankfully glad that she had a chance to change, and to clean up. At least Maavis had a brief reprieve granted to her, and had a diversion to keep her busy for a bit.

Raven had emerged from the shower a few minutes later, thankful for the fact that, for the most part, that she had suffered mostly from nasty bruises, and not a part of her body was broken. The worst came from her shoulder, which still look pretty nasty, but had stopped bleeding.

She had herself wrapped in an oversized towel, raising an eyebrow once again as she noticed varying articles of clothing were strewn about the floor.

Maavis had turned, holding a garment in her arms, giggling upon site of Raven herself.

"Found it! It took me awhile, but I found it!" Maavis giggled again, handing her the garment.

Raven nodded, once again wondering about the girl's sanity.

"Most of the stuff's black, and I thought it didn't feel right. You looked to me as though you were on a edge of a slipperly slope, and just starting to slide down the slope itself." Maavis murmured, lowering her gaze.

Raven blinked and nodded once again, surprised, in the very least, at the girl's amazing insight.

"I think I should go now. Don't want to press my luck." Maavis concluded, bowing slightly as she started to head towards the door.

"Uhm, Maavis? I think you're missing something." Raven told her, seeing the girl tense up as she glanced back.

Raven only smirked, returning the girl's toy by tossing it to her.

Maavis managed a grin as she caught the toy, then rushed out of the room.

"Weird girl." Raven muttered, shaking her head.

It was only a few minutes later that Raven emerged from the room herself, with an amused grin upon her face. Maavis seemed to have picked a rather symbolic color for the simple gown, which was a dark violet, a color so dark, it bordered on black.

Zerxes slammed a fist on the table.

"Where's the food!?"

A few servants came in then carrying multiple trays of the food he was hungry for. Mostly it was meat but there were a few other things thrown in as well. Vegetables, breads, wine, all the stuff a Sith Acolyte could want after a good workout in the training room.

He drummed his fingers on the table as he waited for Raven to show up. This girl was strong, but was she strong enough to survive in the training a Sith received. He was not completely sure, but he was slightly positive about it.

"Has anyone seen that blasted girl? I'm hungry and she's not here. Has Maavis been talking to her? That girl's going to get it one of these days."

The door opened finally, and Raven walked in. Zerxes was awed by what he saw but chose to not let it be seen on his face. He was too hungry. Best to get to the food and save the other pleasantries for later.

"Sit."

Raven smirked, hearing him mention the odd-ball she had dealt with earlier, sitting down gracefully after being given so blunt an order.

"Now, now, my lord. I have a feeling you need to work on your patience. All good things come to those who wait." Raven commented, raising an eyebrow in amusement.
