(OOC: Squeeler!)

Words entered the grieving Tobal’s mind through a haze of mental pain, and he understood then naught. Yet another close friend had been wrenched from him, like his father, and his family. Would the pain never end? Was anyone who knew him doomed to die? Seeking solace in the cold snow, Tobal lay still.

The sound of flesh against flesh brought his consciousness’ back somewhat, and he listened. The voices were still a haze, unintelligible. As if to keep him in his quiescent state, the voice of the demon rang again through his tortured mind yet again.

You and I are the same, on the inside. The same ancestry flows through our veins: know that you are but one step away from being what you know you can become only in your heart of darkness.

“No.” said Tobal, snow to entering his mouth as he muttered the denial. “It cannot be.”

But it was, he knew it in his heart. The moment he rested eyes upon that, that thing he knew that somehow, some way they shared a lineage.

“How?” Tobal whispered. How could it be?

A whirlwind of snow flickered over the Shadow’s back, and he was suddenly lifted and thrown backward forcefully, his limp body not resisting. With a painful crunch he landed on a pile of semi-hard snow, next to the dead body of one of the Massassi. As his eyes locked with the glazed, unseeing eyes of the clone, the words of his father when his youngest sister had died slipped through his fogged brain.

…Death, Tobal, is but the beginning…

Frowning slightly, the tribal examined the face of death before him, a face contorted with pain. Why it seemed to say. Why did you kill me?. Unable to answer the question that was really his own, Tobal turned his gaze away from the Massassi’s. Struggling to his feet, coldness overtook the young Shadow. …Death, Tobal, is but the beginning…

Mat had chosen his fate; he had sacrificed himself for his friend. In the manner of his people, Tobal shoved grief from his mind. There would be time to mourn after the battle was done, plenty of time.

The coldness permeated his being rapidly. It was not a feeling of the natural; the undersuit he wore was doing a good job at keeping that out. This was a feeling of cold through the Force.

A dim light flickered about Tobal’s left hand, and he recalled his saber to himself. Looking over to the sewers he could see another squad of Massassi exiting, searching for their prey. Directly in front of him were two beings, neither of which he recognized. One was huge, his size inhumane. The other floated above the ground, some sort of engine shoddily strapped to his back.

Slavatio's form lifted from the ground on it's own accord. Since the 'incident' his body had been able to naturally levitate, or fly, without tapping the Force to do so. Looking to the man before him, he faced his foe without feeling or fear.

"A single punch hardly qualifies as abuse. An action which was more than warranted by your own intentions. You are now faced with two choices. Leave this man be, or face down your own destiny at the eye of the storm whose limits you cannot even hope to test."

Silus landed the ship, opening the durasteel doors to the outside. He stood and walked outside into the cold. There was no way he could resist. His eyes rested on the man who now stood in front of him.

Great, now there are two of them.

The cold felt like small daggers down his back, and he shivered a little. He didn't expect to set foot on the planet, but unfortunately, things proved otherwise. He waited, waited to see his fate.

"That sounds nice and all, having my destiny at the eye of the storm... you DO realize that the eye of the storm is the calm in the storm, right? Sure, it may sound extravagant to say, but I don't think you know what you're talking about!"

Whatever this being was, given its gift of levitation, Arkan was determined to see to its defeat. Tapping into the processes of the dovin basal latched onto his back, Arkan channeled the creature's focus on the magnetic resonation of the Jedi Shadow's ability to suspend itself in the air and began to unravel it. Strand by strand of its intricate ways, he bore into the core of this Jedi Shadow's being, taking apart its make-up of existence and reconstructed the Force around it while inverting it's gravtiy.

"Here's a taste of abuse for you..." Once the process was complete, no matter how powerful this being was, the combined focus of two beings that tampered with the gravity and the Force, sent this Jedi turning at an erratical spin. There was no doubt this one would regain composure in a matter of minutes, but this was quite amusing.

OOC: AKKK! sorry for my late posting. I added this page to my favourites for quick & easy access, but it didn't update it for some reason so I though people had stopped posting, so I'm confused and late. :S

IC:
Luis stared down Arkan. And suddenly, his chance came, A Shadow Jedi came out of nowhere and began assaulting the huge monster of Arkan. His luck changed more for the better when he saw Kale's ship approaching.

With Arkan distracted, he saw his chance. As the shadow Jedi landed a hit on the creature. Luis' Lightsaber was loosened from Arkans' grip and it flew through the air, as it hit the snow, Luis grabbed it and clipped it to his belt.
Although the Ysalamiri was still in action, he managed to jump high enough naturally to grab the boarding ramp of Kale's ship with his fingertips. Pulling himself up after a struggle, he managed to pull himself into the ship and sat near Kale:

"Thank the Force you're here Kale. Lets get out of here!"

He said, panting from the exersion. Bleeding from a burst lip and a long cut above his eye he began to heal his wounds. He looked up at Kale as the ship began to head away from the area and away from Arkan:

"..Thank you Kale. You saved my life..."

He said, looking down at his feet.

Mandrake looks at Alex and then at his brother Hanix. He could only smile. He walked closer to the two Jedi and began twirling his dual-bladed lightsaber. He jumps out at the two and jumps back, taunting them. He was playing games with them and was trying to get them off guard.

Mandrake spoke,"You have finally sought me out, my brother. I am glad that I finally have the chance to finish what I began."

Mandrake charges the two. He makes two quick and powerful strikes against the Jedi. He first makes an over-head slash at his brother Hanix and the manipulates his lightsaber and makes an uppercut swing at Alex. The strikes were full of anger and hatred. He was ready to kill the two Jedi, especially his brother.

Khar Shian

Kale nodded to Luis and gestured for him to sit in the co-pilot's seat and strap in. Kale shot across the frozen tundra of Khar Shian... trailing him so far was only a group of ten TIE Defenders. The fastest of the Imperial TIE designs, the Defenders could outrun Kale's YT-2400, though, not by much. Kale had put a lot of coin into having his ship run faster than most. With top-of-the-line Sublight engines, Kale would give the smaller ships a run for their money.

Kale jinked left and right, taking laser fire to his rear-deflectors. The Defenders were far enough behind, at this point, to be mostly ineffective and inaccurate. The Jedi nearly hugged the ice, flying low and kicking up the loose snow in his wake. The TIEs gained and started rocking the ship when Kale saw his first hope...

The Overlord shot towards what appeared to be a straight drop off. Kale had to work fast as he approached the cliff. Moving his hands across the controls, flipping the appropriate switches, Kale turned to Luis.

"Hold on."

Kale slammed on the reverse thrusters, shutting down his forward ones. His ship slowed drastically as he moved just over the edge. Flipping a switch to his left, Kale offed the repulsors and felt his ship fall straight down. Switching them back on almost as quickly, and turning of his reverse thrusters, Kale saw two Defenders shoot overhead. He slammed his throttle forward, keeping close to the two confused Pilots, and squeezing his trigger, Kale destroyed the two ships that had began breaking to turn back and had not expected the need for shields.

Now further ahead of the other eight, each having to pull off, Kale sighed, glad to have cut the odds down a little. Kale hadn't given himself much room, however, and the remaining starfighters were quickly gaining once again. His deflectors taking more fire, Kale did all he could to keep the rocking of his ship to a minimum.

Suddenly, across the horizon, what appeared to be an ice wall, came into view. As they came closer, Kale could see a small crack which, as they neared, appeared to change into a crevice in the wall. Knowing it would be a squeeze, Kale began to sweat, but let the Force flow through his body, guiding his choices. Kale flew a bit higher to get a good view, when his alarms went off. Red blinking lights which always seemed to be there when he was in trouble pierced the still of the cockpit. With the Force as his ally, Kale dipped the Overlord back down, and set it on it's side as the concussion missiles seemed to slowly fly past.

Kale realized, almost like a brick hitting his head, that those missiles weren't just going to stop. As he neared the crevice, he realized that the fired missiles would impact just on both sides... A moment of decision... Kale closed his eyes, and searched for the answer. Feeling his ship continue to rock, he knew what his only chance would be.

Flying at top speed, still on its side, Kale watched the missiles explode against the white wall. Seconds after, Kale sent his ship into the crevice. The ice from the explosions fell down over his hull, and his top cannons seemed to scrape against the inner wall of ice. Kale came through, but quickly had to maneuver through what was nearly a maze of ice... ice bridges cut his path, and smaller protrusions tested his skill. A glance at the screen showed him only Four dots behind him. Whether crushed trying to pass through, or destroyed trying to pull up before hitting the wall, Kale had less pursuers, and more equal odds once again.

Shooting underneath a huge ice bridge, the dots began to get closer. Kale feared to raise his speed, knowing that he may not have the time to react, so instead, he would use his own artillery. Kale flipped a switch-protector up, and fired two concussion missiles from his hidden rear-launchers. Each impacted on the ice-bridge, turning it into rubble, and quickly eliminating two more enemies.

He was about to fire another volley, when one of the Defenders hit an ice protrusion, spun out of control, and hit its wing-man, destroying both.

After a few more seconds, the Overlord shot out of the crevice on the other side, and headed towards the dark-side of the moon.

Jade quickly kills the Sith she had been fighting by beheading it rather easily and nods to the one who spoke to her.

"Kamon, how nice to see to you see again."

Another Sith attacks her and she chops the girl in the half as she charges at Jade.

"May I ask what you are doing here? Besides what my people call Shadow Walking?"

"Indeed, I know full well the verbiage I use. You are in the eye of the storm. All seems calm and peaceful, but the power of the storm grows closer and your destruction more likely."

The "Sith's" trick had no effect as he obviously did not understand the physics behind the creature he faced. Nor did he understand the man within the monstrous body. Slavatio's levitation worked only because his body was capable of altering it's genetic structure. In a sense, he was currently without any real mass. The gravity he increased would sooner pull the air to the earth than the Jedi Shadow.

"The full fury of the storm grows closer yet, young one. Will you take refuge? Or do you believe you have the metal to withstand it's ceaseless assault?"

This seemed to be something relative to an encounter with some deity walking on the earth, but deities tended to be wise and would not trifle with the affairs of mortals. No, this was no deity, this was a fraud, someone who emmitted power but did not understand or appreciate it. The power fluctuating within Arkan grew at a larger rate, as though the Force itself was not satisfied with the lack of affect upon this Jedi Shadow. This encounter would be abnormal and the wills of men shall overturn from the very conflict that was arising, one that would threaten to tear the fabric of the material existence.

"Oh no," Arkan said with a sarcastic tone, "I do dread your power, Jedi Shadow, but you do not understand the gravity of your plight..."

A power Arkan tried to rarely manifest, he began to glow with a grey aura. His entire being blurred and he diverted his energy into duplication, once again folding his essence into the dimensional fabric which composed the Force and two copies of Arkan stepped out on opposite ends from the host form. The insanity of Arkan's fluctuating Force energy dimmed slightly, dispersed to the new duplicates of himself. The grey aura remained.

"Take refuge on your own, Jedi, none have easily withstood the power of a dovin basal," all the Arkans focused the energy of their dovin basals together, inverting a portion of the planet's gravity in such a density. Arkan created a spherical gravitational condition to support what he considered a quantum gravitational fluctuation, down to a point where it created a rift in the space between he and this Jedi Shadow. But a noticeable trait of the dovin basals' focus aided with the Arkans' own direction, placed the quickly growing black hole to the Jedi Shadow's direction. Even with the combined power of the dovin basals, Arkan could only direct the construction of a black hole 20 feet in radius.
