(OOC: This is me taking over MCR. I am a member and Teebo told me his parents have refused him computer access due to vomiting caused by his old concussion)

Reep Kreegon, Admiral in the Mon Calamari Navy, moved the fleet (Which is behind the PLANETARY SHIELD) so that it lined up with the Enemy fleets. He held a close formation and spoke to those operating the shield.

"Be prepared to lower the shields on my signal, and ONLY my signal to allow us and our allies' fleets in. If we are killed then keep the shield running for as long as possible."

He gulped. He was a nervous creature. But shakily he input attack orders for his troops.

Unnoticed, a single personal shuttle, running under cloak, slipped beyond the outermost reaches of the interdiction feilds, lowered its cloak then jumped to hyperspace.

Dioan Silk, Sovereign Protector, had left the battle aboard his Sith Infiltrator.

"Communications, open a line to the Azguard Commander again."

"Done."

"Regrad, since we have very little ships in system, we are placing them under your command. Tell us what to do and we'll do it."

OOC:just say what we are doing, cause I'm gone until monday, sorry.

(OOC: Its' been something like a week since someone has posted, so have at you!)

Regrad slowly brought the comm to his dry lips, the entire fleet was at his finger tips...

"On my mark... Engage!"

A part of the planetary shield dropped, letting the MCR fleet out. The MCR, AGM, and TNR fleets all converged in a flood of fighters and capital class vessels upon their enemy's flagship, the Vengeance.

The loud reports of the turrets rippled through their vessels, but out in space they were eerily silent as they struck into the vessels' shields.

A dozen capitals, 300+ fighters, all unloaded waves of missles and turbolaser fire. they crowded space like some beautiful cloud, until

BAM

they struck.

(Suggest damage: Shields and some hull integrity on the Vengeance)

The Vengeance was well protected by it's screen of capital vessels and fighters. The fighters of the Crimson Fleet were more than tripple that of the rebel resistance. The swarms of fighters moved around the enemy like a group of insects around a rotting corpse.

The crimson first and second fleets let loose with volleys of turbo-laser fire and all other batteries of weaponry at their disposal. The lancing hard light energy tore into the ships across space from them. The rebels had already engaged, sending missels and fire at the Vengeance. The missles each exploding upon a fighter in the depths of space. Sometimes the Regime's, sometimes their own.

The Dark Lord cared not either way. He released volleys of blasts at the rebels scum as no commander could overcome, with such a small force. Each of his capital vessels opened fire, save the Flag Ship which remained in the rear commanding the battle.

The rebels were outnumbered, out gunned, and out manuvered. Their war was lost this day.

Half Crimson Regime Fighters, Destroyed.

Damage to shields of any two capital vessels: Crimson Regime.

Damage to shields and hull of any four capital vessels: Rebels.

Ming listened with mild dissatisfaction as the agents of the Swarm reported their departure, and then formed up to leave the system. It was only a minor setback in the attack, though, and the Imperials still vastly outnumbered the Rebel defenders.

With oiled Imperial precision, Ming’s forces followed the Crimson fleets in towards the planet. Fighters flew effortlessly ahead of the main, seemingly small formation, which was shadowed by the invisible Shrouds; the Empire’s most deadly silent weapon.

A short time passed, and the Rebel fleets began to engage the far superior Crimson Regime, commanded by the notoriously invincible Dark Lord of the Sith. Ming watched the display with interest.

The first ships moved in to engage. A barrage was fired...

The comm gave a buzz, and Ming looked up.

“Sir, transmission from the enemy commander. Audio only.” Ming nodded, indicating it be routed through to his terminal. He tapped a button on the arm of his chair and a slightly pompous, tinny voice issued from a hidden speaker.

“Attacking Imperial Forces, I am wondering what your motives are?”

Ming allowed himself a smile, then hit the transmit button and spoke:

“Why, I thought that would be more than obvious, Rebel commander. You surrender and we spare your life. Resist, and you and your people will suffer.” He took his finger off the switch, and turned to Essian to issue new orders.

Slowly at first, then picking up momentum as the ships reoriented themselves, the Imperial fleet angled downward and began to slip underneath their Crimson allies. Rebel forces were fully engaged in the battle that raged, and there was only space filled with Crimson ships between them.

And then the planet began to burn.

“Sir, alpha squadron has begun lower-atmospheric bombardment of the Gencore generator. Alpha group are running recon, and report that all is going to plan.” Ming smiled again, noting how effectively his squadrons were performing. He had moved them into place at the beginning of the battle, waiting for the enemy commander to drop his shields and allow them access, while the rebel commander moved the very forces that could save the Gencore out into space.

The planetary shield would soon fail, and the rebel fleet was already meeting destruction at Maim’s hands. Only one thing remained...

The Imperials passed out from under the battle, and began a skyward climb. Ahead of them, the first of Mon Calimari’s shipyards waited.

OOC Damage Report: Light damage to Gencore generator.

(OOC: I agree with TCR's damage. You lost something like 900 fighters and we lot 300ish. But yours are smaller and thus are mass-produced for these reasons anyways. It seemed abit irritible that my fleet would sustain such extreem damage from one volley (Shield AND damaged hull) I will accept... this time. I leave the choice of damaged TCR vessels to you, its' your defensive screen.

(The Heroic Defenders' Damaged Ships: -Oriflame, -Jagged, -Defender, -Alliance

(TNO though, that confuses me. Are you saying your ships are attacking the planetary shield, or have somehow gotten beneath it? Please clarify. Because I do not understand how you would get under the shield)

Regrad looked at the fleet status panel. Red light flickered. He input new orders.

The heroic fleet of the outnumbered yet resolved defenders weathered the storm of lasers from their enemy. Suddenly, they pulled into a tight formation, damaged ships in centre, and unloaded on Champion. The second volley of "Rebel" Fire was shot with the pin-point accuracy one gets from fighting for ones' life and ones' friends or home. with deathly fury the hell rained down.

The fighters, who had been annihalated, would be remembered. Their vicious dogfight had cost them their lives, but had annihalated a good portion on the Crimson fighter fleet.

(OOc: I shall edit this post with information concerning TNO once this has been clarified.)

(OOC: This is Maim, sorry for the incorrect name here.)

The Dark Lord felt the call of his brother in the force. He commanded over the communications channel.

"Lower the gravity fields IMMEDIATELY."

As was commanded, it was done. The men knew better than to question or delay any command coming from the Dark Lord. They knew to do such would be to invite death.

The far superior crimson fleet returned fire upon the rebels who now attempted to target the well defended Champion, the flagship of the second fleet. It was almost as if these cretins knew which ships were the command vessels of the fleets. Almost as if they had infiltrated their grubby little spies into the Dark Lord's ranks. Those parasites would try just about anything to get ahead in this galaxy.

However, the Dark Lord knew without a doubt that they had not introduced a spy to his ranks. None they could offer could ever sustain a ploy against the Dark Lord without his knowledge. None they could send would have lived past a day.

Moments, rather seconds, after the gravity fields were lowered.. two more fleets entered the stage.

The communications channel beeped.

"Brother Meschi, I am suprised you are here. Suprised, but not unhappy."

"I come to assist, My Lord and Master."

"Assist you may."

(OOC: I feel slighted by your choice of damage. Why did your fleet sustain only minor damage on two of your least important vessels, while an assortment of my vessels should be badly damaged? Escpecially considering we have been firing on the Vic and the Imp, but they are marked as undamaged.

(I demand a fair fight. You have overwhelming numbers and are certain of vicftory in time. The least you can do is NOT try to deflect every shot of damage onto some unimportant targets that you can replace in a day or so!)
