Space above Bonadan...

The stars and space surronding the planet of Bonadan was relativley as calm as ever, with just the freighter traffic associated with the Vinda Corporation and private investors passing by, along with the local merchant traffic as well, along with a roving warship on patrol. Then the stars above the world rippled as a huge ship reverted to realspace above the planet. Being over seven thousand meters in length, the Imperial Battleship Superior was the most heavily armed Imperial warship serving in the Mid-Rim Protectorate, and was the only one of it's kind in existance with the Empire. It was believed to be the personal command ship of Vice Admiral Kraken. It's presence here above the world gave a very good idea of who was in the ship. Moments later the ship broadcast a singal to the surface of the planet, requesting a meeting with the chairman of the board of Vinda Corporation....

VC-HQ

The Vinda-Corp figurehead strode purposefully through one of the many corridors of VC-HQ with both his mind and his footsteps in overdrive. His presence was always preceded by a flurry of activity.
Mainly as various people who worked in the many offices of Vinda-Corp suddenly made themselves look busy before the man himself came through. Although not planned or engineered to do so, it created an air of action and tension , and already the building buzzed with the electricity of an event unfolding somewhere unseen by the general populace.

That said, the unusual appearance of a seven thousand metre long Imperial warship did not exactly go unnoticed...

As Vinda walked briskly down and through one such corridor he was flanked and followed by a troupe of advisors. Despite his age, the Corporate man had not slowed, and as he talked and walked many of his advisors struggled to keep step with him. Except for one, one that stood out from all the rest as being able to, while making it all seem effortless, and that one person, was Achinta Vega.

Perhaps the only one who had ever been able to.

"...Sir!, this just in for you..." Came the rather breathless interruption from an aide doing his best to keep in step with the Vinda-Corp CEO as he thrust a data-pad in front of the old man's face, (garnering a both a frown and a somewhat annoyed expression in the process)...

In response, Vinda stopped, abruptly and unexpectedly, causing many of those following on behind to almost walk into the back of him as his eyes analysed the information he had been given.

The CEO’s eyes narrowed in reaction.

He turned to face Achinta..."It seems the Empire has paid us a visit once again..." He said matter of factly passing the data-pad to his bodyguard. The white haired HRD nodded slowly as he took the pad and digested its contents...

"..typical bloody Imperials, they don't do things by halves... you'd think they'd learnt some subtlety by now..." He barked to no-one in particular as the frown deepened across his brow...

Turning back to face the Aide, Vinda continued talking, and started walking once more , in a purposeful stride which seemed to take the aide by surprise, (the aide followed as best he could)…

“…make the area clear, redirect local traffic, escort and welcome our Imperial guests, direct them to the Ambassadorial landing area…I want this place spotless!…"

As Vinda gave his orders, it seemed the hive of activity increased to a frenetic buzz, as various aides and assistants went about their business. While Vinda and his entourage made their way to the landing area set aside specifically for visiting dignitaries, his thoughts raced with what may lie ahead…

After all, visits from the Empire such as this, were rare, and somewhat ominous…

Above Bonadan

As the welcome was transmitted and received , the seven thousand meter long warship was directed to a safe orbital position , out of the way of local traffic.

While the escorts waited patiently for their guests to disembark, Bonadan's population collectively held their breath...

...slowly the rumours were confirmed...

The Empire was here.

The ships departed from the hangar bay of the might Imperial Battleship, four lambda type shuttles escorted by a full wing of seventy two TIE Defenders, divided into eighteen groups of four each, flying in their standard honor guard formation. On the shuttles were the Imperial ambassadors, diplomats, negotiators, along with some fleet officers, and some more people that would hopefully become embassy officers, should the corporation agree to the Empire's proposal to set one up on this planet. On the lead shuttles was the Admiral himself, Park Kraken, along with a stormtrooper escort, and a few other fleet officers. Admiral Hyde Parker was here as well, along with commodore Huey, commander of the newly established Elrood Sector Authority (ESA), and some other officers. The shuttles headed down to the planet below, where their destinators awaited their presence.

A short time later, the shuttles were coming in for a landing on the platforms designated for them, with the TIE Defenders circling above them. With four gentle displacements of air, the shuttles settled down on the platform in a diamond formation. The ramp then lowered on the four shuttles. Gasps came from the bystanders when, first out of the shuttles, their gleaming and shining gray and white armour glistening in the evening sun, eight dark troopers from each shuttle came clomping down the ramps, and walked outwards, away from the shuttles, torwards the perimeter of the platform, spreading out so that they completey covered the area of the landings with a perimeter-picket line. Next out the shuttles came eight more troops each, this time stormtroopers, and then finally four more troops each, their gleaming blue armour and wavy blue cloaks identifying them as the Imperial Admiral's guard. Recently created by Park Kraken, these troops are essientally Royal Guards going through their training routines to become more adept to protecting the regent.

The diplomats, ambassidors, and other personnel filed out of their respective shuttles, followed by the officers, including Park Kraken himself. Standing at just under two meters tall, he was an imposing figure for a human being, with his jet black admiral's uniform, and orange hair and moustachois, was an imposing figure indeed. He sighted the group of Corporation envoys at the far end of the landing pad, having just emerged from the building located there. The wail of Twin Ion Engines echoing the various buildings relentlessley, he, his officers, and the whole congregation, except for the Dark troopers on picket duty, moved out away from the shuttles and torwards the awaiting officials.
