OOC: Please excuse me if I posted this wrong but in the FAQ it said if you have a character thought up just post in the battlegrounds. Forgive me if I was suppost to submit an app or something first.

IC: "Where am I?" Tal'kus asked himself in a pained voice, his head throbbing and his blue lekku twitching impulsively.

:Ohhhhhhhhh ya: Tal'kus reminded himself painfully reaching for a nearby bottle half full of some no name alchoholic beverage.

"That was some party me and the boys had last night."
Tal'kus half laughed, half whistled to himself as he stood and dressed in a plain white shirt and pants and then threw on his unadorned brown robes and black boots.

It wasn't everyday that he landed every asset he had procured in his 29 years of life as a freelancing mercenary on some planet whose name he had forgotten within hours of getting wasted after landing.

Tal'kus sighed to himself as he left the large hotel, subconsciously reaching for the strewn together lightsaber made from spare ship parts that hung beneath his robes, he recalled the Gotal Jedi that he had met that had said he was force sensitive and had administrated a very limited degree of training before meeting his untimely demise.

"I miss that old turtle." He sighed again remembering the affectionate nickname he had give his Gotal teacher for the short time they were together.

:Bah space it, the whole Jedi order thing is a little too self-righteous for me:Tal'kus laughed to himself again while moving his lekku this way and that.

"Now where is that contact I'm support to meet here be?" He groaned inwardly thinking of the possiblity of a trap.

:Hopefully my lack of insight this once won't get me killed, hopefully it's just me being paranoid:

Tal'kus sat down nearby, atleast this spot was some what public. The sky was a greenish blue and the wind was pleasently cooling.

Now that he noticed it the architecture was fairly modern and a fair ammount of airspeeders were flying about but it seemed that the square he was in was fairly empty.

"Oh ya, this is gonna be a very public-discrete meeting or I'm screwed."

IC:
Lorenzo was strolling around the public pathways, staring at everyone just to make sure that there were no sneaky buggers in the crowd of people walking up and down the pathways.

He was taking a rest from being recruited to The Galactic Coaltion, waiting for his fleet to be decided. This was a tense, nervous yet exciting time for him and he was only 24 leading his life like he was alot older. He took his break well just relaxing, letting the cool, calm breeze crawl over his body and through his light, long blonde hair.

Speeders were a regular accurance, just crusing around the city looking like they were after something. In the corner of Lorenzo's eye he noticed someone looking a little disturbed or being more precise, nervous.

"Are you alright lad?Is something troubling you at all?"

Lorenzo was a kind person always willing to lend a helping hand.

OOC: Not a jedi just force sensitive with a small degree of training. Tal'kus Tal for short is 1.65 meters tall and weighs 178 lbs. He has dark blue skin with a random pattern of light blue spots decorating his lekku. He has small sharp features and violet eyes.

IC:
"Unless your my work contact I don't think you can." Tal'kus smiled at the strangers offer but laughed inwardly at being called a lad.

I'm no expert at guessing ages but I'd bet money I'm atleast half a dozen standard years older then this human, Tal'kus thought to himself casting his gaze in a number of directions.

Tal'kus stood and arced his back then glanced at his chronometer, it was half a standard hour past the contact time.

"Of course my original contract is running late so if you have a new one I'd love to discuss it." Tal'kus motioned to the bench opposite him and sat back down twitching his lekku.

"Please officer- I have an urgent appointment I need to att..."

The planetary security officer paid Cleivge Hinota's protest little mind, standing their investigating his oversized data pad and breifcase full of hard credit chips. He had drew suspision when while hurrying toward the meeting place he had accidentally rammed into a gamorean, and the case had flown out of his hand, spraying credit chips in every direction.

Fortunatly for Cleivge, a planetary police officer had quickly secured the area and prevented any looting- but now the officer seemed to think Cleivge had obtained the money in some illicit fashion, which was causing him to even later than he intended.

"I guess, I'll just wait."

Rubbing his own brusied lekku, he only hoped that the contact wouldn't leave- that would make Cortex very unhappy.

"Anybody in particular?"

Lorenzo saw him look at the time and was unsure as to why he was so interested in knowing the time. He sat down next to him and stared at him for a moment studying him like he always does to people who has never met.

He sat there quiet for a few minutes and then spoke.

"So, ummm what has brought you here?Buisness?Traveler? well?"

Lorenzo was curious as to why and wanted to know what was so important in knowing the time.

"Business sir, but my original employer is running rather late."
Tal'kus grinned and looked about.

"And since it seems that no one is showing I don't suppose you have any work for a bored freelancer?" Tal'kus asked.

Hmmmm I'll wait another half hour for my original contact before leaving, *sigh* we might be here a while longer then I thought.

"If I could implore you to hurry, I have matters of gre.."

Cleivge Hinota's voice was cut off as the breifcase was shoved forcefully into his stomach, knocking the wind out of his lungs and cutting of his protest. Not quite the answer he was looking for, but it at least it got him back on his way.

Coughing, he straightened up, and muttered under his breath what he thought of the security officer. Fortunatley, the officer had moved on, showing little intrest in Cleivge now.

He popped open the breifcase, ensured its contents were inplace, then looked around, and ensured the false bottom was still secured, untouched. Satisfied, Cleivge began to hurry toward the designated meeting point.

After about 15 minutes of hurried walking, he saw another Twi'lek, his supposed contact. Resuming his diplomatic mode, shattered after his cursing of the security officer, he assumed a jagged smile and an air of confidence. He stepped across a busy thorughofare toward his contact.

Let see if this guy is worth what we're going to pay him.
