Lexx crossed her arms and stood still as she rollled her eyes. She knew Stevenson was watching her. Lexx tapped her foot on the floor and smirked.

"Clever, very clever. I take it you want me to play along??"

Lexx didn't get a reply but knew what the answer was. She was really starting to like this Colonel's style.

Lexx chose the right door and crept around the corner and the lighting went dark as she did. The wall behind her also closed.

"Ok Colonel, let's play!"

Lexx got down on the floor and crawled to the next turn. She slowly peaked around the corner which was clear. She then reached into her pcket and pulled a coin. Lexx rolled the coin down the corridor and about five feet down the floor opened up swallowing the coin.

"You'll have to do better than that Mister Colonel!"

Lexx would never admit it, but she was having fun.

Lexx got up and slowly went down the corridor and jumped over the trap door. She then cautiously headed to the far end of the corridor where another split was.

Rob laughed and smiled at Cierra. "Oh I can give you a droid and more."

He smirked and let Cierra figure out what he meant. He was getting more and more comfortable about Cierra and also around Kyra. The girl seemed to be opening up more as well and he was glad about that.

As he moved through secret door at the edge of the hanger they were in, ahead of them stood a 55 meter long Hauler Class transport. The long ship looked somewhat menacing with its dark blue exterior color and the wide blood red character lines that covered its long sides. The forward cabin was narrow and pointed down like the head of a snarling beast with its windows tinted complete black. She had been build specially at Rob's request as his new personal transport.

"Please, come on board. Make yourself as home." He reach out and pointed his comm link towards the craft and watched it sink down towards the deck a little more while opening its forward hatch.

Cierra and Kyra followed Rob into the ship as Jay was trailing behind them. They all sat down and made themselves comfortable for the trip. Cierra motioned to Rob.

"Are you planning on telling me where we are going and how long it will take or do I need to keep guessing?"

As Ilmus stepped into the training facility he quickly pulled off his suit and pants to reveal his black skin suit underneath. The suit was the same one he wore under his combat suit and was created from specialized nanofibers. Without power moving them, the nanofibers only reacted to pressures, like that from a knife or blunt object. Even projectile slugs would set it off and turn the flexible, breaththrough suit, into a dense armor layer. The fibers would contract around the hit area in milliseconds and prevent penetration from such objects.

In this pitch black suit, Ilmus could move in the shadows. This was his life. This was what he was most proficent in. He loved covert operations and sneeking up on people. The hunt made it interesting and it was even better when you went up against someone as skilled as Lexxi seemed to be.

As Lexxi talked, Ilmus zoned in on her location and moved down some of the hallways softly to get closer. He knew approximately where she was and worked out in his head that she wouldn't be moving to quickly. Ilmus quickly moved into one of the rooms and looked around. There was a ball of string laying one of the beds and he quietly took it into his hands, pulling off enough string to cover the width of the hallway.

With this in his hand he moved back out into the hallway and listening carefully. He reached up to turn the glowrod a little and cause it to dim down, flooding the hallway with more darkness. With this done, he knelt back down and strung the string across the bottom of the hallway and tied each end down.

Satisfied, Ilmus moved off into the darkest part of the hallway and waited for Lexx to approach. He knew she could be moving this way. The other way was blocked and he was patient.

Lexx had snuck around the corridors and came to one which was darker then the rest. She paused, careful not to make a sound. She then knelt down to the ground and rolled another coin down the dark passage.

Nothing.

Lexx crawled around the corner staying low. She was almost down to the end where she could almost make out another corner. Lexx stood up and moved cautiously to the end. Then suddenly...

"SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Before she knew it, Lexx had tripped and wound up on the floor.

Ilmus watched the situation resolve, but it was different from what he had planned. He had not expected Lexxi to not notice the string, but it was a good development for him none the less. Even before Lexx hit the ground, Ilmus was out of the shadows and sitting on her back. He reached around to pull your head and chest up carefully while bringing his small vibro knife ever so close to her chest, only millimeters above her heart.

"Greetings love." He whispered into her ear as he flicked his wrist and felt the vibrating blade slide through one of her top straps.

With a smirk he got up and reached down to offer her a hand.

Lexx felt the blade on her chest and smirked. Stevenson offered his hand to her which she took and he helped her to her feet. She couldn't help but start to laugh.

"Now that was fun! We'll have to do this more often. There's only one thing you overlooked my dear Colonel..."

Lexx grabbed Stevenson's head pulling him in and giving him a long kiss. Stevenson was caught totally off guard.

"...a lady always has surprises."

Lexx smiled. Then she looked around the corridor.

"Now can you please show me the way out of here??"

Stevenson laughed and shook his head. Lexx followed him and realized she was in good company. Stevenson was very well trained himself and she knew the two of them would create very effective soldiers together.

Rob laughed and grinned at Cierra before moving towards the cockpit.

"I think I'll keep you in more suspense." He grinned and called out. "If anyone wants to join me in cockpit, they are more than welcome."

With a smile he glanced back at the two and turned the corner. He looked over the seats and smile as his second joy came back to him. Rob loved to pilot a ship himself and was going to enjoy doing it today. He got into the seat and started to go through the checklist quickly, hearing the hatch close up.

It was not always that Colonel Stevenson got surprised, but this was one of those moments. The kiss came out of no where and for the first seconds Ilmus made no reaction at all. Finally reality kicked in and he smiled against Lexxi's lips before kissing her hard back.

"I'll try to remember that." The Colonel laughed and winked as he reached over and playfully smacked Lexxi on the butt as if she was one of his team members.

"Go work today soldier." He grinned and moved off to the side slowly so that he could gather up his clothes.

With clothes in hand Ilmus laughed and smirked at Lexxi as they exited the training grounds. "You just arrived and your already making me take my clothes off for you."

In the hallway everything was opened up again and he led her towards the end of it were the barracks was located. Lines of bunks stood against the walls and all were empty, but the showers could be heard running. As Lexxi looked around the barracks housing, Ilmus reached over to the nearby wall and run his finger over part of it, making a door slide open.

"This one of the officers quarters, but for the time being will be yours." With a smile he motioned for her to take a look.

Cierra and Kyra followed Rob into the cockpit. Cierra noticed a smile on Rob's face as he began to prep the ship for takeoff.

"You really enjoy piloting these ships yourself, don;t you?"

Rob's knod was enough. Cierra also felt the same way but didn't get as enthusiastic as Rob did.

"I normally don't agree to go places that I don't know about, so I will put some trust back in you Rob."
