The large man ignored John's questions, and continued with his own.

"Do you have a family, John?"

Inside the interrogator's room, a man opened the main door and stepped in. His insignia's gave him the rank of general, and his poise proved the rank. He nodded as he watched the men work, listening to the progress.

"No."

Galactic Coalition Intelligence had made sure the crew was largely made up of single bachalors. This prevented having to make up any more fake people. They had also used some real names of people, and those people were those who had a family. Their records weren't sliced, but had never mentioned working for the Galactic Coalition, or even being a Galactic Coalition supporter.
