The mans jaw sat back, open wide in the air as he slumped over the bar. A small trickle of dark crimson ran down his cheek, blood that had long since dried in place. The distant look in his eye added to the effect, if not the long rivet driven straight through his kneck.
Likewise the rest of the bar goers had met almost similar deaths at relatively the same moment. The room was silent, and awash with the strewn boddies of violent deaths, a picture perfect scene of a mass murderers dream. Only two creatures remained moving in the room.
Berasco took a long swig of whisky as he looked at the man to his right, grining sadisticaly. Reaching over, he gently placed his finger under his jaw and thrust it up, closing his mouth and pushing his slumped body off of the bar counter.
"Trying to catch flys are we?"
A small gasp came from across the bar, the bartender, deathly pale as he huged the wall behind him, shivering with frieght as the man before him took drink after drink from behind the counter. His eyes were wide, pupils dilated, his mouth was also wide open, something Berasco would overlook for now
"You know I wasnt always this way..."
He eyed the room conspicously. At least thirteen dead, a few women, one child, a small girl.
"I actually used to be quite an innocent young lad. Why I remember I used to play in the feilds..."

"RASCO!"
He lay back on the long wavy grass, half awake and half dreaming as he watched the clouds overhead. He had been in the feilds for hours now, nature was lovely at times to just watch.
"RASCO, HEY RASCO!"
He felt something near by, he couldnt yet hear the taller boy runing towards him, but he could 'sense' his approach. He couldnt tell how, as far as he could remember he always could tell when people were nearby or approaching him. He never found it really useful, as by the time he felt them nearby they were almost on top of him, maybe someday...
"RASCO YOU IDIOT! WAKE UP! I KNOW YOU CAN HEAR ME!"
half leaping to his feet Berasco fell right into Amonatep, bringing him down to his back as they both toppled over into the ground. he laughed half heartedly as he regained consciousness, pushing Amonatep down by the shoulders before standing himself
"What do ya want Amon? I was sleeping!"
Grabing for Berasco's hand he pulled himself up, wiping a mound of dirt off his knee before shoving Rasco back a few feet, a devilish smile on his lips
"Why do I always need something when I bug you Rasc?"
"Becuase you always do, whats up?"
Amon turned to face the feilds, glancing over the line of trees in the horizon he turned back to Rasco rasing his arms wide
"Life is grand Rasco! Why do you insist on wasting it out here! Me and a few of the gang are going out to a few of the nightspots tonight. Come back to the city with us, have some fun!"
He grumbled under his breath, they were always getting him into trouble this way. He would go into the city with them, hang out, then spend the rest of the evening trying to figure out a way from the mess he had just got into.
"Look Amon, I'll think about it ok. No promises..."
"Thanks Rasco, Ill see ya there!"
"HEY! I SAID I'll THIN...."
[i]But it was too late Amon had already run off into the distance.
