Megan grabbed Rusty as he walked past, but he pressed on, past her. She couldn't believe the sight...

"So this is him..."

Kamon shook his hand.

"I'm fine as long as Chadd doesn't find out I'm here. He's banned you from every planet associated with TJE. That means you can't come to Tholatin. Unfortunately."

Kamon looked past Rusty to the woman. He didn't know here, that was for sure.

"Who's she?"

Rusty tried to contain his laughter.

"Fearsons does not frighten me...not anymore than he frightens a grazing womprat."

He turned to the girl.

"This...claims to be Megan Kalinsky...for the time being, I'll have to trust her."

Kamon raised an eyebrow at Rusty.

"I don't understand. What do you mean by she claims to be? IS sh not who she says she is? And who is Megan Kalinsky?"

He looked at her out of the corner of his eye. She had a suspicious air to her. Kamon didn't feel comfortable.

Rusty took Kamon aside, speaking quietly.

"Megan Kalinsky...the girl I loved as a child. I watched her die in the Outer Rim. This woman claims to be her, saying that I saw a clone of hers die. Quite odd..."

Kamon still didn't understand.

"Is that not possible? It's happened before. A clone made to be destroyed. It seems a good possibility. You should somehow figure out a way to determine her true identity."
