The Prince Regent activated his comm.
"Zen, you old space dog.. they still let you command a fleet?"
The Prince chuckled.
"We are here for probably the same reason you are. We received a distress signal from the Tholatins. Of course, we will be looking forward to making a profit off this venture."
The Dark Prince grinned.
"Shall we transmit terms of surrender to this cretins, or shall we just blow them into space dust?"

(We'll ignore Maim and his God Moding until they have decided to play fair. That is, a roleplay that proves they were en route to Tholatin anyway or ten posts in hyperspace. Zen, your fleet has five posts until they are in effective combat range. That is how it has been done for newcomers in every Shadow Guard battle to date, and so shall it be with you. As I've already said, I want to see Jander approving this little operation, as Chadd stated that TJE belongs to him and only him.)
<hr>
<font color=purple>...welcome to the party...
"Lord Ominii. Jutraalian warships have entered the systme. They appear to be hostile. Gravity Wells have been raised." The Lord of the Shadow Guard gave a long sigh and nodded.
"Prepare to retreat, set exit vectors as already determined, around the planet and into hyperspace. All guns, continue to fire on the Tholatin fleet. Launch the starfighters. Targets Alpha through Delta first."
There was a long silence as the ships changed course slightly, an angle that would take them 'under' the planet instead of into it. The guns on the vessels continued to pump out their beams of deadly light, and now the starfighters and Victory-class Star Destroyer joined in.
More than four thousand streaks of fire lit the space around the fleet as missile lanced out from the Star Destroyers and Missile Gunboats, throwing themselves with an deadly fury into the Tholatin shipyards, still under construction over the world of Karak. Fires began to bloom where the blasts struck.
"Wing Commander," the cool voice spoke again. "Prepare another volley for our Jutraalian friends. And ask them if we can interest them in refreshments. I would say that the Shadow Guard can offer them far more than these..." Ominii cast a glance to the smoldering shipyards, "...Tholatins..."

<font color=green>"What of it?" He asked, looking out at the bleak vista of stars that surrounded the ship.
"The attack, sir? Tholatin stands no chance against these... Shadow Guardians..."
"Shadow Guard," Drayson corrected thoughtlessly. He cursed himself for it.
"All right. Send this to the fleet, urgent. Recall our ships in the sector immediatly, and dispatch the ships that Kamon requested to buy earlier. Maybe this time... he will."
There was a nod, and the officer was gone. Within the hour, twenty warships had made the jump to hyperspace.

"New orders." One of the men, Ominii recognized him as a Corporate Major, said. "Command wants the LFX ships out of here. A deal has been reached with the Tholatins."
Ominii nodded. Strangely, he was not as disapointed as he would have thought. Normally, loosing his fleet would have enraged him.
"Very well. All ships to make full speed towards the exit vector, make sure the Interdictors are still up. I'm transferring to the Shadow Reaper - good luck, Major."
The Corporate officer nodded, saluted the Shadow Lord, and took charge of the vessel.
"All right, then. Communications, transmit a message to the Jutraalian forces. We are no longer under the command of Lord Ominii and will be evacuating the system with due haste. Safe passage is requested, but we will defend ourselves if neccessary. Right then. Plot us a course out of here."
The warships accelerated, dipping under the planet's bottom half, and prepared for hyperspace. And some distance away, the vessels that LFX Industrial had sold to the Tholatins were enroute...

Radon smiled as the new fleets came out of hyperspace. He recognized their transponder codes immediately. One was a TCE fleet. TCE had been asked to visit the system. TJE however, must have received TDY's distress Message.
At about the same time these two fleets came out of hyperspace, twenty ships came out of hyperspace bearing the TDY Transponder Codes. He was unaware of purchasing any ships or requesting any ships be sent for backup. No matter. The ships sent a message saying they had been purchased at the price of the Karkak yards.
Radon turned to his communication officer and told him to tell these new ships to open fire on the enemy vessels. Then he had the rest of the Occupational fleet open up on the enemy vessels. Once that was done, he had his Captain reinforce the forward shields. Then he sent a hail to the TCE and TJE ships.
"Greetings and welcome to Karkak. I'm sorry for the inconvenience of your calls as we are under assault by unknown forces. We would however like it if you would assist us."
