So it begins.... The new rise of the Trade Federation. The renewal of it's political standing, as it once so gloriously stood above the competition. A great recession in the economical affairs of the Trade Federation, after it joined the Seperatist movement long ago, lead to it's downfall, and it's economical demise. That was all but over, as three Trade Federation Battleships slowly moved through a region just within the Unknown Regions, it's powerful communications beacons picking up messages as clearly as they would if they were orbiting Neimoidia.

The new Trade Federation Viceroy, Nelix Galdra, sat with his hands folded neatly in his lap as he stood on a moving chair, propelled by spiderlike droid legs. Before him, hovered a Holonet Droid, one of many aboard the ship. His decision to join this... Interstellar Conglomerate had been far from a bad choice, thus far. But now was a time for action. Now, was a time for Organization, and Action.

Turning to his fleet Admiral, a close and trusted friend from Neimoidia, Dodine Hakray he requested that Communications be opened to each of the Factions alligned with the Conglomerate. While remaining in his mobile droid chair, he looked into the Holonet droid, and began to speak in an evident Neimoidian accent.

"Greetings from the Trade Federation, to the most bold leaders of the Interstellar Conglomerate. I am, as a great deal of you might know, Viceroy Galdra, Chairman of the Confederacy of Independant Systems, and Viceroy of the Trade Federation.

Over the past few weeks, I must say that I am more than pleased with the actions, and development of this Alliance. However, I do feel that the time for action is drawing near. We must focus on a common goal, as well as a common benifit for each of our growing powers.

From this secure channel, I am extending an invitation for each representative to join meaboard my ship, the T.F.S. Trinity in the location I am sending you. Due to the overwhelming power of Trade Federation Communications beacons, this message will be impossible to pick up, let alone track.

If we are to work together, then we must work toward a common goal. Join me here, on my ship, and let us discuss these common goals, as well as a proposition I have to offer each one of you."

He turned back to Dodine for a moment, and with the slash across the neck routine, the communications were severed.

He switched off his comm from his private chambers. The Star Home had been a day in transit already. The meeting had been his idea in the begining, and he intended to see it to its fruitation. The Fed message affected him not, it would put the others in a position to move, but he cared not.

He looked out the window of his manor, the birds chirped as they flew over the edge of the pond near by. He cherished his Star Home so, a symbol of the economic might of IDTech. The Sheilds had been reinforced, not to be an offensive ship it merely had to survive. The crisp air of the morning caught him by suprise so he left the window behind and decided now might be a good time for a stroll. It would be a while before they arrived at the designated point, might as well give oneself time to think on things...

Ren wandered around the cockpit of the GreyHawk, certainly not a vessel which was typical of a leader of a starship company. This YT-2400 had seen its fair share of action in the past, and had served him well.He would trust his life to this ship, it certainly got him out of a few scrapes.

The ship had been in hyperspace ever since the message from the Trade Federation Viceroy, they weren't far.

Ren Was eager to see what things would come from this Conglomorate, it certainly was an enticing idea.

The rendevous with the Trinity was yet some time away, luckily at Ren's request, a sabaac table had been installed in the main deck of the ship, with the vessel on autopilot, a little gambling with the crew wouldn't hurt.

The <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Free Wind<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> clipped out toward the destination point. The Hapen BattleCruiser was in peak condidition, and knew it.
The crono read three hours till he arrived, yet another three hours. Not long enough to sleep, to short for a good holo, perhaps he could play some sabbac.
The officers were supprised when he walked into their private meeting room with a deck of cards, but they were more than happy to join in. Pay had just been given out, and money had been flowing freely.

Kas wondered what Mr. Vinda would think of this ISC idea. Three more hours.

Long minutes turned into restless hours as the Trade Federation Viceroy sat impatiently in his command chair on the Command Bridge of the Trinity, the soft hum of Droid engines breaking the long silence. He looked over for a moment, spotting the usual cleaning crew. He shook his head, and raised a hand to his forehead, rubbing it intently.

It would only be a matter of time now. Only a matter of time before the representatives of the Interstellar Conglomerate, and there members would arrive, and the meeting would be under way. Nelix turned to one of the serving droids, who carried a tray of lush green plants to the Viceroy. In his Neimoidian accent, he began to speak.

"Is the meeting room prepared?"

The Droid, a female Protocal Droid, much like the one the former Trade Federation Viceroy, Nute Gunray had posessed.

Her call signal was TK-421, Neimoidian-Cyborg Relations.

"The room has been prepared at your command, Viceroy. I assume that the representatives from the Corporations will be arriving shortly?"

He nodded his head, taking the tray of green plants. "Yes, of course. That will be all, TK-241."

The protocal droid nodded her metallic head, and with an empty serving tray, waddled back to the door she had entered through.

With the sound of the airlock opening and closing, Nelix picked up an eating utincil, and began to casually eat the herbs, and plants that had been served to him, a satisfied look on his face.

Puzzled eyes averted from the Tactical Command Console displays, inquiring each other about this most recent message noticed by the ship’s transceiver arrays.

“Do we acknowledge the message?”, came a fervent voice.

“Don’t ask me Adalric, diplomacy is your department. First Fleet is standing by, and we will be ready to launch within the hour if need be. But…”, with a sigh, the voice continued, “if you want my opinion from a tactical standpoint, I highly doubt it’s a trap. The Trade Federation doesn’t have the resources or equipment to take on a sizable OAB task force… at least, nothing that Dace or his people have informed me on.”

Nodding, the Director of Cryonics Industries Bureau of Diplomacy considered the political options of ratifying the Viceroys request for an audience, and made a decision.

“Very well Davin, prep the force for immediate departure, best speed for coordinates provided in the transmission.”

“Crew, brace for reversion!” The mighty behemoth vessels of the Cryonics Industries naval force appeared into orbit of the prescribed meeting place set aside by the Trade Federation Viceroy. Adalric stood anxiously over the bridge, awaiting for due justice to receive the Viceroy’s greetings.

“Davin, have your department lock the transmission. Begin record.” Seated at the Tactical Command Console, Davin Halcyon issued similar orders to Relay department, giving Cronus thumbs up.

“Esteemed Viceroy of the Trade Federation, this is Adalric Cronus, representing Cryonics Industries as official diplomatic envoy. We have come on behalf of your request, and all things considered, I’d prefer to skip protocol and get right down to business.”

The Trade Federation Viceroy sat up as his Protocal Droid, TK-421 waddled into the room, an empty tray still in hand.

"Viceroy Nelix Galdra, a message is coming in from a Cryonics Industries vessel. Apparently there Representative has arrived in the vacinity."

Nelix dropped his eating utincil, and stood slowly, smoothing the wrinkles out of his uniform before he followed the Protocal droid into the communications room.

“Esteemed Viceroy of the Trade Federation, this is Adalric Cronus, representing Cryonics Industries as official diplomatic envoy. We have come on behalf of your request, and all things considered, I’d prefer to skip protocol and get right down to business.”

The Viceroy turned for a brief moment to his Protocal Droid, and then began to speak.

"Mr. Cronus, on behalf of the Trade Federation, the Interstellar Conglomerate, and the Confederacy of Independant Systems, I welcome you. I anxiously await your arrival on the Trinity. If you would be so kind as to join me aboard my ship, I will gladly fill you in on the details of this meeting. Our newly elected Chairman, Kas Katta will be with us shortly, as will the other representatives."

The Star Home exited hyperspace within a parsec of the given point of arrivel. Its twisting pires and black backdrop looking ominous aginst the spectacle of space itself.

"Mr. Raktus sir, weve reached realspace once again and will be arriving at the designated coordinates in 20 minutes"

Taking out a small handcomm, he spoke into it as he turned and headed back to the castle on the hill

"Very good, im on my way back now, dont start communique till I get back."

"yes sir Mr. Raktus"
