"Nyong?" {What?}

Al'Natar looks at the device held in the mans hand with a look of curiousity. Noting the look on the mans face, he took a few steps back and growled at the man in a low tone. Though he didn't understand what the thing in the mans hand was, he was somewhat sure that it was a weapon of some sort. It was a long time since he had feared anything, an even now, as he stood there with his fur rippling uncontrollably, he wasn't sure if that was what he was feeling or if he was just curious about the unknown. He looked around and noted his surroundings for a moment before turning back to the person in front of him.

"Er mo neb donden.." {I do not understand..}

With those words spoken, he took the opportunity to try and get away. Jumping to his right with extreme speed, he clipped his weapon to his belt. Leaping up onto the outer surface of the nearest building, he started climbing up the face of it at rapid speed. Thankfully, his claws were sharp enough to dig into the strange material that made up the building. When he got to the top, he looked down at the ground below him and eyed the man with the weapon.

"Nyong zar vem?" {What are they?}

Turning away, he lept across the gap between buildings and landed on the next one. He was surprised at the even spacing of buildings. It facilitated his movement. Back on his world, the buildings were spaced far enough apart to keep this from happening. That being the result of many chases occuring on the tops of buildings. Al'Natar used his mobility and skills to jump from building to building, making his way to somewhere he didn't know. He just wanted to keep moving.

The alien growled something unintelligible at Jer and he frowned. Whoever he was he obviously didn't speak Basic. But before Jer could try to mime his order to the alien he saw the alien tense as if he was going to jump. He brought his weapon swinging around ready to fire if the Alien attacked him or any of the crowd but instead it just jumped on to the nearest building and began to climb.

Jer nodded and holstered his pistol before grabbing his comm.

"Attention base, I have a fugitive heading North on the rooftops. The fugitive appears to be a furred alien with claws. It is armed with some type of weapon and watch out it can jump fast. It cannot, I repeat cannot speak or understand Basic."

Satisfied that he'd finished his job Jer put away his comlink and then turned to the crowd and began to reassure them and encourage them to go about their business.

Just a few blocks away from Plaza San Marcos at the time of Jer's call was a X-55 Drone, an experimental design that was being tested by the Police forces on Onyx. It was extremely silent and could travel very very fast. Within seconds of Jer's call it was speeding silently on its way towards the fleeing alien.

The buildings flew by so fast that he wasn't even sure how long he had been running. Ears laid back against his head, he didn't hear much of anything. He could just feel the wind pushing against his face, biting at his skin beneath his fur. It was quite cold, the wind, but he was used to it from running on his homeworld. The alien with the weapon was behind him now, surely uncapable of catching up to him. Slowing down, he stood up and continued to walk along the roof he was currently standing on. With his ears perked up, he could hear a faint buzzing sound. Turning his head around, he looked for the source.

His eyes picked it up as it moved along the rooftops towards him. Was it some sort of bird? He'd never seen anything like the mechanical beast that was moving towards him. Aware that it might try to harm him, he drew his weapon and activated it. As the machine closed in on him, he pointed the weapon directly at it, waiting for it to do something. It was fast, he could see that. Quiet too. He almost couldn't hear it.

"Alan bach." {Stay back.}

As it continued to move towards him, he backed up some and soon found himself standing on the edge of the building. The machine began to move something on itself and Al'Natar, fur riplling like mad, decided it would probably be safer if he wasn't around to find out what was going to happen. He jumped backwards off the buidling and fell to the ground. Something cracked, he could hear it. The people he had landed amongst scattered in all directions, but he was too busy running to notice anything. The pain was lost to him.

The Drone did not even pause for a second following the aliens move. Already micro-processors were churning and sensors were scanning and it was once again on the aliens trail. The alien was very fast and agile and it was know in a crowded area.

Up ahead the Drone knew that there was an area where the street thinned and there was no side streets for a few kilometers. Immediately the Drone radioed for an ambush to be set up. As the alien went speeding down the street he approached a crossroads where there suddenly appeared a security speeder. Immediately troopers poured out and leveled strange weapons at the alien firing streams of Stokhli Stun Spray. From behind the Drone began to fire its own Stun Blaster. No matter what he did there was no escape from this trap.
