Adjutant Nipeten Chan'zih'mar lounged in his private quarters onboard his Jha'ma Cruiser, the Zic'tah. The report he was reading was very secret, and it could get him into a lot of trouble if discovered.
The Human species is a primitive one. They are ape like mammals. They have your two basic genders: male and female. The species is very much influenced by sight as opposed to touch and sound like most civilized members of our Dominion are. Humans form a strong bond with the mate that they are sexually attracted to and give birth to live young.
Nipeten paused for a moment to ponder what he had just read.
Live childbirth? How disgusting!
He continued to the next part of the report.
At this point, the human race dominates this galaxy, especially around a region at the center of this galaxy they call the 'core.' The dominant ruling unit is a racist faction known as The New Order. They are a powerful dictatorship bent on galactic contol and the subdueing all that they consider alien. Other Galactic entities such as large system spanning conglomerate the Vinda Corporation are headed up by humans.
This New Order and the Vinda Corporation are only a taste of humanity. Humans are everywhere in this galaxy. They are more numerous than any other species. They are large threat to the Cree'Ar Dominion, and should be approached and treated with the great caution. If brought into the Dominion they would become a very valuable asset.

Nipeten put the report down, and he picked up his communication device.
"Commander, report to my quarters immediately."
Nipeten put the device down, and straightened his uniform. The Parrow Lin would arrive soon. He was a punctual being. A minute later, he entered Nipeten's quarters.
Saluting, he said, "Commander Dutral of the Third Brigade reporting as ordered Adjutant Chan'zih'mar."
"Commander is it true that your battalion is holding a human prisoner that is not yet tainted by the Nexus'... influence?"
"Yes sir. That is correct. My battalion is going to be using him for a live-fire training exercise."
"I want him brought here intact as soon as possible. If anyone asks, I will be questioning him. Is that clear Battalion Commander Dutral?"
"Yes Adjutant Chan'zih'mar. Your orders will be carried out to the letter. That I swear to you."
"Serve me well. Serve me discreetly, and those rank markers on your tunic will change for the better. Betray me, well, who is going to care about one junior Parrow Lin commander? Dismissed."
The battalion commander's throat quivered and spasmed. This was natural sign of fear and respect. The alien turned on his heel and returned to his post.
"So, you are captured human? What do you call yourself?" questioned Nipeten as he slipped on contamination gloves."
The putrid smelling creature began spouting in his native guttural tonques. This language, Nipeten had been told, was called "Basic." It was the leading language in this galaxy.
"The creature asks why you are putting on those gloves. He wants you to know that he has no ailments," said the translator.
"Tell it that just by touching him servants of our Nexus will enter its body and turn him into the same mindless drone its comrades are. Tell it... It is being... spared."
The translator began to explain this to the human. It seemed confused by some the concepts such as the Nexus and drones, but shrugged his shoulders, and said something to the translator.
"The Human thanks you... for what it's worth. He calls himself Kurl Warns."
Nipeten paused to take notes down about the human. Inquisitive and cooperative so far.
"That will be all for this day Scholar. I want a complete medical examination of the human. We are still not sure if it is male or female. I expect to know by next standard cycle. Guards return it to its cell. Since he has answered my question increase its food rations and bring it hygiene products and new clothes."
"Yes, Adjutant Chan'zih'mar."
