"Well, I don't suppose I have to pay him now," I said with a twisted grin. Fetts momentary distraction, his focus on the Defel had given me the time, and moment, I needed. I'd subtly brought my blaster carbine up, with its' barrel resting flat on my knee and trained on Fett, it was an almost imperceptible motion. "Never liked them Wraiths much anyway." I winked.
There was no way to be sure how he'd react to my motion, but a good wager rested on him seeing my finger far from the trigger.
"Not bugged, and now I feel a whole Sith of alot safer. Nothin' personal, I jus' tha' way..."
It was coming back, one of those moments. I could hear the accent coming through, but I bit it off short by taking a swig of my lum and lipping of my niccig.

The Mandalore would grin, if he felt anything. His own left blaster was already trained on Pike under the table. His motion had taken place while his other shot was fired. He moved it, if slightly, just to catch the other hunter's eye and let him know he would get a shot of first.. his finger, as always when blaster drawn, on the trigger.
"Do we have a deal or not? I have others to see."
He left it at that. The offer had been made, it was time for a decision.. one way or the other, this meeting was about over.

Deals are always a problem, they tend to get changed as the situation suits. I stay away from Deals.
The blaster, on the other hand, while not unexpected, left me somewhat surprised. There aren't many people with hands that fast, or aim that accurate. Aside from me.
"We've got'sa agreement, yeah." I shrugged, always looking disinterested. I wanted to ask, 'why me', and a thousand other questions, but that would just have to wait. The credits sounded too good.
I gave another nod, "Sure."
Sometimes I wonder if I lie to myself.

Fett holstered his twin blasters and slid a datapad across the table.
"Here are the coordinates of Mandalore. Meet me there in three weeks for our first official meeting."
Without so much as another word, he stood and strode from the cantina. On his way out, he tossed a few credits on the counter and stated "For the mess.".
The life of a bounty hunter was a good one.

(In a change to the third person)
It was worth a chuckle. He had finally seen the great Fett in action and not been disappointed. The way he figured it, most people who did, ended up dead as a result. The same could not be said about Beff...but Pike. Pike was another character all together.
Pike had started to speak up, at the end there, but just to play. Even Pike had respect for anyone who carried the name.
Fett.
Watching him in action was almost surreal, like living a memory that belonged to someone else. That's where the lines began to blur.
Moving fluidly to his feet, a moment taken to finish the last of his lum.
With a shrug the blaster carbine vanished under his jacket and he was out the door. Just another piece of scum down the drain.
