"Grand Admiral Snowkan, we are a verchen from the planet Verkuyl. We verchen wish to talk with you about our independence. A verchen has been sent and will be arriving soon. We hope that you like our proposial."

"When did that come in?"
"Half an hour ago sir. The verchen has landed and is coming here at the moment."
"Thank you. Send him up to my office."
"Sir the verchen are not male or female. They also refer to themselves in plural."
"Thank you. I will be up in my office when it gets here."

The verchen arrived and went up to Grand Admiral SNowkan's office, followed by an aide.
"Sir the verchen is here to see you."
"Come in."
The verchen walked into the office.
"I understand you ahve a deal to propose."
"Yes, we verchen would like the Iron Fist Empire to coem and free us from underneath the rule of the humans. We would help you in any ground attacks."
"I accept your deal. A fleet will be there soon."
"Thank you."
The verchen left for Verkuyl, and Grand Admiral Snowkan started to put together a fleet for the verchen.

General Odmain, the man in charge of the Iron Fist Fighter Corps, Second Division, watched as the world Verkuyl appeared in front of him. Grand Admiral Snowkan had given him the job of taking over the planet with the bacta refineries intact, and ready to be modified. Normaly Grand Admrial Snowkan wouldn't have taken over the world, but Thyferra had recently ordered no bacta to eb shipped to certain people, the Iron Fist Empire included. Now they had to take a planet that produced bacta, and keep it. They could have risked just buying bacta, but the prices were outrageous and the Verkuylians could deside to just not send any bacta to the Empire as well. Also, they would have groudn support. In recent years the verchen who were essentual to the production of bacta, had grown angry at the injusts put apon them. They were ruled by humans, and also a minority. They had started to rebel. They ahd sent a verchen to the Iron Fist Empire, pleading for help. Grand Admiral Snowkan had agrred to send halp, and now it came, in form of six hundred and sixty seven Shadow Droids. A Corruption Star Destroyer was following. Normaly a larger force would have been sent, but time was scarce and Teth was under attack. A small fleet could be sent to help the verchen, not a large one. The Verkuyliam defenses were not strong as far as General Odmain was informed. At most they should be a couple of dreadnaughts and an imperial star destroyer, along with maybe 144 Ugly fighters, nothing 667 Shadow Droids couldn't handle. The Shadow Droids were one of the best fighters in the galaxy. 3 meters long, with an arnement of 1 concussion missile launcher, one proton torpedo missile launcher, three laser cannons and two ion cannons, a formidable foe. Each "pilot" could touch the dark side of the force. That was the only bad part of them as far as Grand Admiral Snowkan was concerned. They were of the dark side, not the light side. This is not very good as Grand Admiral Snowkan was a Jedi Padawan. But he wanted a good strike force in fighters, and Shadow Droids were the best their was, other then a Jedi in a TIE Defender.
"Grand Admiral Snowkan, this is General Odmain reporting from Verkuyl. So far we have had no resistence. I am just going to contact the verchen now."
"Thank you for the report. Proceed as you see fit."
With that done Grand Admiral Snowkan signed off. General Odmain sighed. This was quite boring. If only he could be at Teth fighting against The New Order's attack. But no he had to go and take over a bacta refinery planet. He couldn't be part of the fighting at Teth, he had to be blowing hopelessly out numbered and out classed ships. Then he had to make sure that oen refinery was starting to be modified, so that it didn't vent to the outside and produce that awful smell. Then he had to make sure that another one was being modified after the first oen was done. And so on and so on. He even had to make sure that they started to build a new refinery. This wasn't a General's work, it was the work of a lowly foreman, not an officer in the Iron Fist Empire. And he didn't even have normal Iron Fist Ground Forces on the ground, he had verchen, who probably weren't half as good. Ther ownly good thing about this attack is that he had planned to personally take control of the planet. it wouldn't be long to the Iron Fist Empire or who it belonged to now, it would bnelong to him. He had 667 Shadow Droids to help him do it and a corellian battlecruiser on the way. Yes The Iron Fist Empire could probably beat this force, but they wouldn't have to. He wold surrender it peacefully to them, all the while having his spies and what not giving him money from the bussiness.
"Sir we have contacts on sensors. One exucutor star destroyer, one Alligience star destroyer, one corellian battlecruiser and an imperial MK.II star destroyer. They are lanuching fighters. 445 TIE Defenders."
"Bring in the new fleet. I hope that Mon Calamari Supercruiser is done, cause we are going to need it."
"Sir we have enemies coming up from the planet. 144 Ugly fighters. They match the profile of those we fought against at Falleen."

"Sir the fleet is about two minutes away. The Verkuylian fleet is around ten minutes untill firing range. We can still win this battle."
"Are any of the enemy ships pulling up faster then others?"
"Yes the imperial star destroyer i going to be here before the rest. All our ships will be able to do ten salvo on it before the Alligience gets here. Then we can do twenty salvos on the Alligience, before the corellian battlecruiser gets here. We can do twenty salvos on it and then go after the exucutor."
"By the sound of it they are commiting suicide."
"Well the Alligience and imperial star destroyers are. The corellian battle cruiser is trying to get cripple, if not destroyed, but the exucutor stands the best chance of living in this pattern."
"But thats because they don't realize we have back up coming. Then they might change their pattern."
"Yes they might, i expect them to do just that. Which is why I suggest that you tell our fleet to come in one at a time. If the corruption comes out and is the only one out of hyperspace, then they will continue the pattern. Then the rest of our ships come out of hyperspace right behind thwe corruption when it is to late for the imperial to retreat. Thne wwe outomatically have the imperial dead in space, and are on our way to the alligience star destroyer."
"I know, why doesn't the corruption come out before and the others don't come out, untill both the alligience and imperial are to far to retreat."
"That's a good plan, but then our corruption take a lot of hits. All in all, not a bad plan though."
"The corruption can withstand the extra hits. It has backup generators, the enemy doesn't. Relay the plan to the fleet."

The plan was set, the trap was baited. Soon the corruption star destroyer came out of hyperpsace. It was farther away from the fighters then first planned. Th Shadow Droids zoomed forward and went after the fighters which had excelerated with the imperial star destroyer. One salvo of missiles from every one of the Iron Fist Fighter Second Division, and the enemy fighters were destroyed.
"This is Two, General Odmain, lets go play tag with that Alligiance Star Destroyer."
"Not yet Two. We want it to get close enough to the corruption that it can't run when the rest of our fleet gets here."
"Ok General."
Then the Corruption star destroyer and Imperial star destroyer
open fire on each other. The imperial star destroyer was trying to draw the corrupotion star destroyer over closer to the alligience. Not a bad tactic though General Odmain, since the imperial is out gunned and out classed. The corruption star destroyer's captain had specific orders to follow. it would chase the imperial a bit, but would only go so far away from it. Then the Alligience star destroyer met up with the imperial and they came against the corruption star destroyer. Once htey were far enough, General Odmain said:
"Lets go play some tag with that alligience."
The 667 Shaodw Droids moved in on their enemy. 667 concussion missiless and 667 proton torpedoes flashed away from the Shadow Droids, all heading for the engines of the star destroyer. A huge gap in the shield appeared, then the engines were eclipsed from view as a concussion missiles and proton torpedoes exploded. once the dust had cleared Two siad:
"I think that ship is in trouble."
That, was an under statement. Thw whole back half had disappeared, so strong was the salvo of missiles. The a lone shadow Droid did a run against it, and his proton torpedoe an concussion missile hit the reactor, making it explode.
"Now it is in big trouble." said Two.
The ship blew up and the crew was all lost. The the supercruiser came out of hyperspace.
"Where is the two Corellian battle cruisers?"
"Hidding in behind, the engines will disgiuse them from snesors, and then they won't be detected untill to late. An A-wing slas, capital ship style."
"Nice idea."
The fleet moved in on the remainder of the Verkuylian defenses.
