He had returned....

The Past - 1 month ago...

Having felt that something was amiss, Necros had taken leave of his duties at the temple, and gone out on an exploration, following his instincts, the force, whatever he could grasp.

From city to city, planet to planet, star system to star system, he had hunted, waited, found, discovered, lost, and learned.

He had found much to be joyous about.

But he had also suffered.

But suffering is the Sith way...

Present

Necros glanced out of the viewport of the starfighter that he had "borrowed" from planetery authorities on some worthless planet, one of which he did not care even to remember the name of.

Simply using the powers that had been bestowed upon him by his creaters, the ever present and awesome might of the force, he piloted the starfighter down to the landing pad on the temple.

Exiting the starfighter, he stood ramrod straight, his cloak flapping in the light breeze that swept across the forests of Xa'Fel, taking in the darkness of the planet with one long shuddering gasp, tasting and savoring the flavours and shades of blackness that hung to the planet.

A smile graced his lips as he started forwards into the temple. And why not?

After all, he had found what he was looking for... :grin

Many times...

Many times he had tried to fufill his desires for power, for glory.

Many times he had failed in his pursuit.

He had doubted his future, his destiny...his legacy.

In doubt, he had gone out in search of himself, not sure that he would like what he found. His quest had led him nowhere.

At no place, did he find what he was looking for.

And that....that is when he came to a decision. To Korriban he had traveled, seeking knowledge of the quest he was determined to set himself upon.

He had talked to many of the ancient Sith lords still interned within their tombs, and had pried from their minds what he sought, even as they themselves had tasted their share of his own mind and heart. A parting bit of advice from these ancient lords only helped to steel his determination and resolve.

Now he prepared himself.

Taking one last look out at the homeworld of the Sith, not knowing if he would ever see it again, he hopped back into his starfighter.

Entering the coordinates of his destination into the navicomputer, he settled back into meditation.

This test, this trial he was about to put himself to, it would not be easy.

But then, the Sith never did have it easy, did they?
