The two dreadnaughts and two lancer frigates came out of hyperspace. Hoth appeared in front of them.
"All crews, this is General Odmain. Power up weapons and shields."
"Sir we are coming in from the other side of the planet as the astroid field."
"Good. Duck down just out of atmosphere, and ttravle that way."
"Sir we are coming aroudn the planet."
"Wonderful. Run a sensor scan on the astroid belt and the ground."
"Running scan."
Grand Admiral Snowkan had a fierce hatred for The Rogue Empire. He had desided to send some ships to Hoth, an isolated planet and begin an assault on it. If he succeeded intaking the planet, then that was good. It could serve as a jumping off point for other attacks.
"Sensor scan complete. The shipyards are just out of the astroid belt. There is no mines in the Astoird belt, just renements of them. The shipyards are building something big. I think you should see it. On the ground we have some buidlings, but nothing out of the ordinary as far as i can see."
"Show me what they are buidlings. Transfer it to my datapad."
"Transfering now."
The data was trasnfered from the sensor screen to the datapad that Generla Odamin held in his hands.
"Sithspawn! That's a Death Star. Half way done completion to. Give me HoloNet access."
"You have HoloNet access sir."
OOC: Chadd the reason why you don't hav any mines, is that they would have been destroyed by the astroids. I am giving you time to post, before i tell the galaxy about the Death Star

The Mist Fleet under the command of Rear Admiral Siather Det'aan in a nearby system running some training simulations and a complete overhaul of all systems. A message came through from Hoth informing the Admiral that a group of ships had arrived in system and appeared to be hostile. The commander of the base informed the Gand that they were preparing to jam the communications. The Katar Fleet was reportedly moving on the 4 ships. The fleet on it's own would be enough to take care of threat but not keep them in system. The gravity well of the planet would keep the small group of invaders around until the Mist fleet and it's Interdictor-Class Immobilizer Cruiser the 'Grappler Mist' arrived. Siather turned to his comm officer.
"Recall all fighters and have all ships prepare for hyperspace to Hoth. Have all non-essential crew report to their quarters."
The TIE Interceptors started finished flowwing into the docking bays of the 1 VSD mk I, 2 VSD mk IIs, 2 ISD mk Is, 2 ISD mk IIs, 1 Executor class Super Star Destroyer and 1 Disruptor class Super Star Destroyer and the 10 Mists of the Rogue Empire entered hyperspace on route to Hoth.
OOC: All to easy, why did you even bother bringing such an insufficient group of ships?? You had to know that Chadd would guard such and assest with huge numbers of ships.

And I believe there is a quite a large amount of fighters at Hoth that don't actually belong to the Mist or Katar Fleet I've gotta check with Chadd on that one...

OOC:i have a wonderful reason. The rest of my ships are at Ralltiir. These ships couldn't jump into Ralltiir, cause of the time they finished. I have never like TRE very much. My fleet is getting decimated at Ralltiir, i have nothing to lose by informing the galaxy of where Chadd is building the DS in IC.
IC:
"Citizens of the galaxy. This is General Odmain of the Iron Fist Empire. I have sent a small fleet of ships to Hoth, to lay seige to the Empire that i have despised for a long time. Once we jumped in to the Hoth system, we found this."
A picture of the Death Star under construction at Hoth appeared infron of the citizens.
"Yes that is an under contruction Death Star. We don't have a significant force here, so we will most likely die here, brinign you the news of the Death Star. I plead for the galaxy to do something about this superweapon. It can't be completed."
General Odmian signed off.
"All ships, full speed to that Death Star. I doubt we can take it out, but lets do some damage on it."
The ships all went toward the Death Star, ready to die if necessary.

OOC: Snowkan, I hate to be like everyone else that complainse about your RP, but please, just for once READ a thread before you post. It would make things so much easier. The entire thread is rediculous, your just trying to cause as much trouble as you can before IFE dies AGAIN. If you had researched TRE before posting you know your ships would be scrapped easily, in all likelyhood immediately after exiting hyperspace and thier IFF signals gave them away. The Legion fleet (DS support according to the TRE page) would crush you. Heck, even the rather surprisingly low(for Chadd) fleet would beat your ships senseless rather quickly. Now with Siather reporting the Katar Fleet(which research shows is TRE's Katana clone, holding a full 200 Dreadnaughts) being at Hoth, I'd imagine that would be near instant death. I really don't want to do the math, I wouldn't know where to start, but here's what I'm thinking. With approximately 250 ships, three space stations, three shipyards, the Death Star, the planet, and the asteroid field(which generally in planetary systems form a ring, not a single field like you described), you'd probably hit something, even outside the gravity wells. But I could be wrong. On another note, here goes.
Quote:
The commander of the base informed the Gand that they were preparing to jam the communications.
:End Quote
While Siather may have not written it word for word explaining it that way, I'd imagine that was meant to mean communications jamming began as soon as that communication ended. If not, it would have been interesting seeing those ships try and get off a communication while being pounded to dust.
Now, don't get me wrong, I don't like the idea of a Death Star running around the galaxy any better than anyone else, but if your going to throw it in everyone's faces, at least do it with good roleplay, not some insane attempt to cause trouble like this. I'm sure those ships could have been of some use in rebuilding IFE once TNO is done stomping on you, now Siather gets a turn, and he's been itching for some action.

OOC: I discussed this with you on AIM...I still don't agree with you Snowkan so it would be nice to have a neutral third party look in and decide what will happen. Thanks. Now as Jander said I am itching to make a mess. Lets get this over with.
The Katar fleet closed in on the enemy ships openning fire on the ripping into the 4 ships with thousands of lasers forming a huge wall of green as it flowed IFE ships. The Mist fleet came out of hyperspace and aimed themselves at the enemy ships cruising at full flank speed. The Grappler Mist brought her gravity wells online. The Sadistic Mist and Sinful Mist dropped slightly behind the ISDs, original Mist Twins and the Conquering Mist. The Dreadnaughts were picking at the four ships bringing the shields down quickly. (I think this is fair due to the number of ships here.)
"All ships Ion Cannons only. I want those ships captured."
The wall of green quickly became a wall of disabling blue bolts slamming into the hulls of the 4 IFE ships. Blue charges could be seen skittering across the hull of the ships.
"Prepare a boarding team for each ship. Make sure there are at least 4 Det'aan Warriors in every squad in the landing parties."
Dropships launched out of the Mist Fleets docking bays contains thousands of troops.
OOC: I'll add more words as I go I'll get it up to the minimum by the time I am done. Thanks for the easy capture Snowkan.

They found it. He did not know how...but they found it. Admiral Maledaek sighed his discontedness at the bridge of the head of the Katar Fleet -- The Rogue Empire's clone of the long dead Katana Fleet -- the Morning Star, a look of disgust and contempt in his eye.
"Our lord should have crushed the Iron Fist Empire when he had the chance..." he drifted off in thought, allowing one gloved hand to bank over his soft, well-shaven chin. He stood within the bridge of the rigged craft, watching as the enemy ships drew ever closer. His bridge...his bridge granted to him by the emperor himself bleeped and sizzled in pre-battle excitement.
The enemy forces were pulling into the space, they had attempted a HoloNet newsfeed, only to find themselves jammed and forced out of the system. The holocom was quickly and without warning destroyed by one of the many gun emplacements on as well as around the asteroids. The emperor had taken every precaution necessary to defend his creation...and that invovled filling the unpocketed locations of space toward the jump point with mines.
Mines ready to blow any of these Iron Fist fools to hell. Hell...where they belonged. Hell where Admiral Schmoe and his rebels were waiting to meet them.
"Sir?" his vice, Captain Awul, a Kuati former senator, asked with a touch of concern in his voice.
"Do you see those pattern lines out there?" Malaedek asked, his eyes focused dead ahead on the lines based out where the ionic trails were being left by the ships. The "paint" as it had been nicknamed was easily picked up on scanners, it was a debris-like substance all ships gave off in space. A trail of their ionic compression and roterary units.
"Aye I do sir. What of them? Maybe they are just-"
"Check the IFF Codes on the ships out there. I already have, they are just as I suspected."
Awul pondered this for a moment as he read up on the situation. With two hundred Dreadnaughts, the Legion Fleet, the Mist Fleet en route for sector defense, and the Shadow Fleet returning for personnel training, why would such a small force be committed? A scouting crew maybe? Perhaps they were lost?
"They're not lost captain," Malaedek said, answering the unasked question. Sometimes Awul had to wonder if the man had any affiliation with the Chiss the same way their emperor had. "Those are suicide runners."
"What makes you so certain sir?"
"We had to block an attempted transmission of a HoloNet Feed in an attempt to broadcast our project. Fortunately they were stopped, no damage done. Admiral Det'aan has ordered their capture though, therefore we cannot exactly harm them too much now can we?"
"Of course not sir," the Kuati captain responded. The ion cannons from the hundreds of ships defending the planet were already pouring down onto the enemy, knocking out their sensors in a matter of instants.
"See? This should not be too hard. Do not dispatch fighters, we do not want confusion. Simply...scare them a little. They'll be within our grasp soon."
"Transports sir?"
"Of course."

"Sir the enemy has hit all of our ships eacept for the fighters. We are all unable to move or send messages."
"Hopefully the missile boats have enough sense to make it out of here."
"Sir they do. They are already flying away from us, towards where we came in system, with no mines."
"Are they juking?"
"Yes."
"Good, then they won't be able to be shot down."
"Yes sir."
The 15 missile boats roared away from the planet, and the enemy forces. They had stayed farther away from the enemy then any other of the Iron Fist Empire ships. They were fleeing fast, using SLAM. They were going 244 MGLT. Suddenly they slowed down to 122 MGLT. SLAM had worn out, for know. But for the short peroid they had been going 244 MGLT, they had gotten far away from the enemies, almost out of range of the interdictor cruiser's gravity well generator's range.

The battle was going very well, the four suicide runners had already been disabled by the massive onslaught of enemy craft. However, they had dispatched Missile Boats...and the missile boats were on an attempted escape vector.
"They will not escape," Malaetek said with a sly grin. "We have at least four interdictors from here to Varonat and Bespin then the same amount going back to Ison."
"Of course sir," the vice responded.
They watched out the forward viewport as the Missile Boats left the hangar bays of the enemy ships, fifteen of them, and immediately three of which were hacked down without difficulty by the Death's Hand and other larger ships there.
"Dispatch TIE Defenders," Malaetek said gleefully.
By the time the Defenders were out of the hangar bay the Shadows and other fighters from the Mist, Legion, etc. fleets were already in close pursuit of the craft, but they could not keep up with the sudden burst of SLAMS.
But then again...they could not so easily dodge the mines they were flying through. Two more Missile Boats were incinerated into space dust, with a third ramming itself into a stray asteroid. This left with only nine missile boats left, which the Indisputable Horror was moving to cut them off with with several of the unnamed Dreadnaughts -- six of which.
The missile boats attempted to fight there way through, but again the turbolaser onslaughts were too much, and seeing as they had no shields up -- due to their excessive speed which would require the sacrafice of shields and lasers as well as beam weapons -- five more were slain in seconds. The mixture of turbolasers and ion cannons sifted to ions specifically...and two missile boats found themselves floating aimlessly in space.
This left with only two Missile Boats, whom the Indisputeable Horror's tractors beams immediately locked onto in an attempt at pulling him inward. The reinforcement of the several tractor beams by the Indisputeable Horror and the many Dreadnaughts completely immobilized the already interdicted force.
"Boom," Malaetek said excitedly.

Siather looked at the formation of the drifting IFE ships. He laughed because if you looked at them at the right angle they sort of looked like a headless human in a fetal position. The Dropships drew closer and closer to the small task force. He saw some missile boats attempt to escape but the sheer numbers of ships and asteroid debris stopped them. Seeing the missile boats already stopped he ordered the Mist Fleet's TIE Defenders to escort the dropships the rest of the way in.
The Dropships drew closer and closer to their target docking bays. Troops would be waiting for them to land. This much was guarenteed.
"Alpha squadron, I want you to get yourselves lined up with the docking bays on those ships and fill it with laser fire as soon as you get the blast doors down."
The specified TIE Defenders proceeded and started working on the blast doors.
