The halls were quiet. The rec centers were empty. No one could be found anywhere. Still, the solitary sound of footsteps echoed down the halls. One lone set of boots, recently returned from an undercover attempt to takeover a nearby planet. The attempt failed due to outside interference but lessens earned are lessons learned. Only a few more options remained to gain new bases for the eventual attempt at helping those in need.
The door to the Dragon Den slid open and Kamon stepped into the command center of the White Dragon stronghold on the hidden world of Alatar Prime. The purpose of the Dragon's was the eventual destruction of the Black Dragon's. An infamous enemy of the one time Tholatin Republic leads the group of bandits gone "legit". His double-crossing of the Republic and eventual capture of Kamon led to the formation of the White Dragons.
Chair swivelng, Kamon sat down and looked around the busiest room in the underground complex. Of all the busy places, the Dragon Den was the worst to work. It was real easy to get beat up while trying to simply do your work. People jostled their way around the small room, moving to speak with their bosses who in turn talked to their bosses and so on until it got to Kamon.
"Sir?"
The unseen call beckoned his head to the right where a lieutenant, someone knew, waited for his answer.
"Yes, Lieutenant?"
"The scout line reports some odd looking asteroids moving towards the system. They say that they're formed, like they were artificially created. Should I tell them to bring them in?"
Kamon thought for a moment. Shaped asteroids. Like something man-made or sculpted. I wonder...
"No. Let them drift towards the system more. If I'm correct on this we're about to have some really big problems."
"Yes, sir."
Kamon looked over at the head officer on duty and beckoned him over. There was something he wanted the man to do.
"Commander, call Admiral Pariah to the bridge, please. Once you have confirmation from him get Dragon Squadron prepped and launched into a holding pattern close to the south pole. Tell them to keep quiet on all accounts."
"Yes, sir."
Kamon sat back.
"I really don't like this."
