Kamon looked coldly at Jax.
"You can go to hell. You know my answer. I will die before Whisper does. Go ahead, pull the trigger. See what good it does you."
Silently he wept. Jax was right. There was no way to get out of this alive. No possible way.

After the other guards, who had been listening to his speech, left, Carnor Jax, or atleast the man who had seemed to be Carnor Jax, removed his helm slowly. The man beneath began to grin widely.
Nathaniel Somir: Rogue Jedi Master.
"Sorry about the old stun bolt. I know they give a nasty headache but it saved your life."
He tossed the Jedi's saber through the bars then opened the door.
"Now, let's get the hell out of here. You are no match for my Father or likely even for Jax. When he wakes up from the stun he was under, he will be even more angry than you must be."

Kamon didn't smile as he walked out of the cell.
"That's not funny, Nathaniel. Why couldn't you have just blasted Maim, or something? Anyway, I don't suppose you happen to have gotten Whisper back did you."
He rubbed some life into his wrists, then checked his wounds. They seemed to be fine. His lightsaber was operational and he moved it around a bit.
"You nearly killed me, you know. I was already stretched to the breaking point. The blast could have been fatal."

"If I hadn't shot you, you would have been dead. I had no choice in the matter. As for why I did not engage my father? Let's just say I am not ready for him. You, my friend, are even less ready. Do not do something this foolish again."
By the time the two had finished the conversation, they had reached a small and seldom used hangar bay. A prepped TIE Phantom awaited them.
"You are going to be my gunner, though you won't actually need to shoot anything. The biggest advantage here is this fighter's stealth. Complete cloaking shield."
Nathaniel climbed up into the pilot's chair and waited for his gunner to strap in.
"Whisper is gone to you. Do not attempt to retrieve her again. It will be your undoing if you do." the Jedi Master said with a degree of regret.
Powering up, he closed the canopy, fired the engines, and took off screaming from the bay. The cloak engaged before they cleared the bay doors and, as soon as they were outside the gravity wells, they two Jedi jumped to hyperspace.

Kamon cried silently.
"Nathaniel. What have you done? I can't leave her to them. They'll abuse her. She's not in her right mind."
A part of him drifted away. That part of him might not ever return, but his hatred for Maim would. The man would pay for what he had done. Even if it costed Kamon his life.
His emotional barrier broke and he knew Nathaniel could see right through him. He couldn't stop him however. He wasn't in a mind to do so anyway.

Lord Meschi, known as the Enforcer, stood silently aboard the ship docking bay. He smiled as the 'guest' was strapped into his yacht. With a nod, he left Carnor Jax standing there and strapped himself into the seat beside Whisper.
"Comfortable my dear?"
He asked, but didn't bother waiting for a response.
The landing ramp retracted and the doors closed. The pilot lifted them off and took them away from the monstrosity that was the Dark Prince. Once they were clear, they broke to hyperspace.. vanishing into the night.

The ship came out of hyperspace above Coruscant. Kamon had learned secretly of an organization that might be able to help him get Whisper back.
The fighter decended to the planet, and was hailed. Their reply was given in code, and they were let down to the planet.
When they had landed, Kamon climbed out of the ship. Turning to Nathaniel he smiled weakly.
"Thanks for the ride and all, but I'm going to try another method to get her back."
He turned before Nathaniel could answer and walked out of the spaceport. His destination was the lower level. His target was Tarnak Somir. He had a favor to ask.
He reached the lower levels, and moved into a tapcaf. Walking up to the owner, he asked a question.
"Where can I find Tarnak Somir?"
"Why the hell should I tell you that?"
Kamon drew on the Force and waived his hand in front of him.
"Where is Tarnak Somir?"
"The Somir Plaza building."
"Thank you."
He took out his datapad and keyed it in to send a message to Tarnak.
Message V-1983
Tarnak Somir
I have a job for you. It pays well. Extremely well. Come to the Fureball Tapcaf if interested. You will not be disappointed by the money.
Then he took a seat and waited.

As Kamon waited, a reply came. It wasn't however the one he wanted. It said for him to go to Tarnaks club.
He stood up, and walked out of the caf. His credits still clanging on the table. He made his way toward the higher levels of the city.
Once ther, he made his way around looking for the club. None of the people on the streets seemed to want to help him. No matter, he would find it himself.
He walked around for quite sometime. Eventually, however, he found the place he was looking for. He was stopped at the door by two armed men.
"What's your business?"
"I have an appointment with Tarnak Somir." He waived his hand. "You will let me in."
"Go right in."
He walked in, and looked around. It was a nice club considering the owner. He stood in the doorway and looked aroun. He was waiting for someone to make a move.

A beautiful young lady made her way to the entrance, standing in Kamon's way.
"Hey there, what's someone like you doing here, stranger?"
She asked with a wink. She wore black, as always, tight leather but beneath a long trench coat.
"Well, sugar? Spit it out, will ya? I ain't got all night here."

Kamon looked at her.
"I could make you have all night, but thats not why I'm here."
He looked past her.
"I have an appointment to meet with Tarnak Somir. That's all oyu need to know. Will you tak me to him?"
