(OOC: Sorry for the "ff" bit that came to this thread I accedentaly pushed sumbit.)
Takeover of the Codian Moon.
Scripto, the name of the ship of Captain Starkiller
Starkiller had the assignment to offer the Codian Moon an alliance with the Grand Coalition. Scripto was a Claymore battle cruiser which had been customized to Starkiller, mostly just the living quarters. He had on board a 5 squads of Swift-class superiority fighters under the command of Leiutenant Vargan.
Vargan was just a Azgaurd who came to Starkiller's ship.
But Starkiller himself is a human from the Imperial planet of Corellia. He left Corellia to help the Coalition and get away from the Empire. He is very good with a fighter and can out-pilot many of the people under him.
All that he knew about the Codian Moon was the tale of the Reek a huge behemoth which one was put against Obi-Wan Kenobi at the battle of Genosis.
Finally, after a long time of travel from the Azguard sector to the Codian moon, he reached his desination. He gave a call over the speaker that Leitenant Vargan and Major Mithias had to report to the observation deck immediatly.
Captain Starkiller reveiwed plans with the officers about the misson they had to do.
"Alright men, here is the plan, we will take boarding craft down to the surface. Hopefully the planet doesn't have any hostile forces there to deal with. But I have a feelling that there isn't anybody on the planet. If that is so then we will have to get building materials to put a Coalition settlement on the planet."
Both of the men nodded and left the observation deck. Starkiller looked on to the green planet of the Codian Moon. All of a sudden a voice came over the speaker.
"Captain Starkiller we just recieved information about a Coalition ship in the system. It doesn't seem to be responding."
"Alright" answerd Starkiller
Starkiller thought in his head that the ship was Coalition so it souldn't be a problem. Starkiller climed into his bed and went to sleep.
The next moring was the time the moon was to be boarded. Starkiller got into his officer's suit and ran down to the docks. He talked to Vargan about the plan and set off to a shuttle he had on board. Already a squad of 100 men had came to the shuttle. Since he had put Vargan in command until Starkiller returned he didn't give a thought about the ship. Captain Starkiller walked to the pilot and told him to take off. Starkiller got to his seat and awaited landing.
After hours of waiting finally the pilot told Starkiller that they had landed on the planet. Starkiller got out it seemed like the planet was barren.

Leaning back in his chair, Commander Leshel typed in several commands to the data-pad fixed on the armrest and watched as the screen before him flickered to life. White stars illuminated the gloomy black of space. Like the constant battles between the good and evil factions of the universe, the stars and the darkness consistently fought for dominance of the viewscreen. Amidst the ongoing black, a Claymore battle cruiser shot out of hyperspace, it's ion flux leaving a small, lingering trail of blue behind it. Right on schedule
"Ensign Rovell, signal the Captain. The Scripto has arrived and is inward bound."
"Yes sir. Notifying the Captain now."
While he awaited the orders to dictate what should come next, the former Imperial Commander allowed for his thoughts to drift to state of the galaxy. He had known when defecting sides, just how large the difference between Imperial and Coalition states would be. It hadn't prepared him for actually experiencing them however. It was no secret that the Coalition was beginning to change, Where once had sat a government that seemed Vader bent on keeping away from war, they were rapidly turning toward different means of operating.
It seemed that the heads of the Coalition had finally awoken to the fact that they could not free the galaxy through just politics. Though the feelings that this left Leshel with were mostly content, he couldn't help but keep a certain resignation. Would the Coalition be able to delve into battles without turning into what the Old Republic had become?
As Kerld entered the bridge through the door adjourning to his office, Leshel shook the thoughts from his head. It was something he hoped the Coalition High Command was thinking about. It was one thing to be a peaceful group with a space navy. Another thing entirely to be a peaceful group with a space navy just spoiling for war. Standing up, the commander walked over to where his captain was studying the display monitors.
"Captain, the Scripto has entered the system. Our presence has not gone unnoticed and we are receiving hails. Shall I respond sir?"
The Seshian Captain looked up at his second in command, a grim look upon his features.
"Unfortunately not Commander. Our ordessss were exact. We are here asss reconaissance. We are to monitor Captain Sssstarkiller and only make contact if our aid issss needed. From what I've read of the man, Ssstarkiller isss competent enough. We ssshouldn't be here for long. You may, however, begin a report sssstatus to ssssend to high command."
"Very good Sir. Is there anything else you require?"
"Not for now commander. Notify me if any problemsss ssshould arrive. I'll be in my office."
"Understood Sir."
Kerld offered a brief salute before turning to stroll into his room off the bridge. Leshel's eyes followed as the Seshian departed. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't quite figure the alien out. Still, he had work to do for now. He returned his attention to the screen before him where the Scripto had slowed to an orbit around the Codian Moon.

Strangely enough no aliens were on the planet. Starkiller studied the planet, there was not much to see. Trees speard like little dots on a huge piece of paper. Starkiller ordered his men out to see if the were alright. All of the soldiers were okay so Starkiller sent a scout to scout the area.
Now about this time he began to wonder about the other Coalition ship in the area if it was really an ally. He also thought why the ship had not answered his questions he gave to the ship to identify it.
Just then the voice of the scout came over his comm.
"Sir, I have just found something. I don't know if they are hostile or not but the seem to be freindly." said the scout.
"What do they look like?"
"They are small, furry, and have big black eyes. They have one huge structure that is made of metal almost like a building on Corosaunt. Some have blasters too."
Starkiller closed his comm and tracked on to the signal. The signal was coming from over a hill. As soon as he got over the hill he saw a magnificent city and a lonely scout standing still. There was a long dropoff to the city but it was still able to get to the city easily. Starkiller gave the order to go down to the city to discuss matters with the king or someone who was in charge. The troops were spotted by a sentinal and it seemed like the entire city was alive. Starkiller had thought in his mind that they needed a protocol droid to translate their speech to these new creatures.
Starkiller muttered the order over the comm to the ship and in an hour a pod with a droid in it will come down. The troop had slowly returned to the shuttle and already built a camp. Starkiller laid down into his bed, althought the sun was still shining and his watch said it was only noon. He still felt very sleepy. the thought of the city of aliens had him puzzled in his mind.
Captain Starkiller heard a crash and ran outside his tent to see a pod and a brand new protocol droid coming out of the pod. The droid was covered in shiny brass colored metal. and had all of it's wires covered to make it seem more human than a droid.
"Alright droid we will need to have you translate these aliens language to us. Understood?"
"Yes sir."replied the droid
"Good."
Starkiller lead the droid to the hill and had the droid inspect the city. The droid did not talk for a long time until Starkiller gave the order for his men to rally and go with the droid. Starkiller also went with the troop. The men found a small path downward to the city almost if it was built by the creatures to reach the city. The path was at a perfect fifty degree anlge. Starkiller was amazed as the squad came to the start of the city and saw the rows and rows of houses and even more and more metal buildings.
They caught one of the creatures and had the droid communicate with him.
"E nak a tek a toot." said the creature
"He says to let him go." the droid said to Starkiller.
"Tell him where is his leader."
"Nan abana nor keta sal to." said the droid.
The creature muttered something and the droid told Starkiller that their leader was in the tower. Starkiller told his men to let him go and they began to walk to the metal tower.

Captain Starkiller thought of what kind of goverment these creatures could possibly have and the other question of how these creature could get their hands on blasters and much less metal. But Starkiller persued on and he came past a series of building with some creatures with blasters in their hands. Appernently the creatures were afraid of the squad of soldiers. Another thing that had bothered his mind was that how could the droid translate the creatures language?
"How did you know what the creatures language was droid?"
"Oddly enogh sir, these creatures language and physical apperence relate to the ewoks on Endor. Although these creatures seem to be more advanced in technology they are apperently the closest realatives in the galaxy. It almost seems though that the buildings of the ewoks or whatever they are, were not built by them but another force in the Galaxy. Even for ewoks these sturctures are too advaced." replied the droid.
"Well then we will have to find out for ourselfes." answerd Captain Starkiller.
They finally came to the large metal structure which the ewoks let them in and even bowed to them. The creatures were gathering behind a in large crowd but stopped to look at the squad of men. Starkiller walked through the arch which lead to a passage to a flight of stairs which lead to another flight. He was lead to a long curve then to a elevator. Starkiller figured that the leader would be at the very top of the tower.
The elevator stopped with a jolt and the doors opened to reveal a tall man standing there with a blaster in a holster sitting at a ewok made desk. The ewok guards stood there with the blasters at the ready, but the man told them to stand down. So the guards did.
"What are you doing here."asked Starkiller
"Same question I was going to ask you..."
"Starkiller, Captain Starkiller of the Galactic Coalition offering you membership in the Coalition."
"Well first I must know, what is the Galactic Coalition?" asked the man
"Haven't you heard of the Coalition and Empire War?"
"You guys had a war with the Empire then leave this planet and never come back I do not want to see you again or I will send an army of Ewoks to kill you."
"One question for you, why are you giving these Ewoks weapons." asked Starkiller.
"To help kill people like you."
"Are you Imperial?"
"A rouge Imperial Captian yes now leave."
"Are you sure you don't want to join the Coalition and help defeat the Empire?"
"Im positive now leave!"yelled the leader.
Starkiller walked back to the elevator and pushed the button to go down. He retraced his steps and came out to the front door.
"What did he say?" asked the Major Mithias.
"That we need to leave."
But the major saw in the eyes of the commandar that they wern't going to leave so they marched back throught the city and up to the campsite. Leiutenat Varagn I need you to send the rest of my troops here now. I still want to convice the leader that we need him to join the Coalition but we still need to remain peaceful and protected.
"Understood sir, but are you sure you want to send all two thousand troops."said Vargan.
"Yes and do it hurridly." said Starkiller.
Starkiller returned to his tent and dozed off. He was thinking in his mind that a battle will soon ensue across these plains. It might be many ewoks against his two thousand soldiers or it might even be more form the Coalition ship that was in the system. After all everyone needed help sometime. But now he thought that he hadn't seen all of the city and there might be more after all these were bigger and more intelligent.

"You know what leiutenant." said Starkiller
"Yes sir."
"Cancel that, we will just return to the Scripto."
"Understood sir."replied Vargan
Starkiller gave the order to have his troops load up and get to the shuttle. All of them perfectly fit and soon they were off. The flight was long cold and nothing really happend. At first they made a sharp jolt up and the ride had some turbulance but they lasted through. Finally they came out of the planet's orbit. The vastsness of space was cold and dark and if you were stranded out there you would be all lone. Starkiller knew of this he had once be succumed to the vastness of space all alone with nobody to cheer you up or help you.
Now he began to think if he should leave the system and tell High Command that the planet could not be persuaded. But if he told Regard and the rest of high command that he could not convice the planet he might be cast out of the Galactic Coalition. All of this thought made him lose track of the time and he had already boarded and they were waiting for him to get off.
He climed out of his seat and walked to the open doors and stepped into the cool hangar bay. All of his battalion of soldiers was standing at attention. "At ease." he called and all of the troops came to the realaxed position. Starkiller walked through the line of soldiers lightly inspecting them one by one and they all had proper battle dress uniform on so he told them to have some R&R and they all marched to their quarters.
Starkiller walked over to the nearest elevator and pushed the button to go up. He could hear the elevator come down and the doors opened to reaveal Vargan.
"Sir there was someone calling you about the Codian moon. He said to come down to the planet and that he wanted to meet you on the plains.", said Vargan."He also said that he wanted to speak with you over the comm."
"Let's go then shall we." said Starkiller
They both stepped into the elevator and pushed the button to go to the bridge. It was only a short one-minute ride up to the observation deck. The elevator came to a stop and the officers stepped out. Starkiller went straight for the comm and set the freaquency for the planet that Vargan gave him.
"Report now." said Starkiller.
"No no no, freind I mean you no harm I just want you to meet me on the fleilds of my graicious planet. Oh, and don't be alarmed of the number of Ewoks that want to see you." said the man
"Whats your name and rank?" asked Stariller.
" My name is Thrak Goloden and my rank is Captain of Imerial forces banished for being nice and spareing a planet I was told to destroy." said Goloden.
"May I bring my soldiers?" asked Starkiller.
"Sure just come here by moring."said Goloden
Starkiller turned off the comm and and stepped over to the personal gun cabniet of his. He took out a brand new small version DC-15 heavy blaster. Starkiller put it in his hostler and walked over to his sleeping quarters. He closed the door and took off his jacket and hung it up. Then he took off his boots and set them next to is chest. He then tumbled on the bed and closed his eyes. He started thinking about a plan to do. He knew that Goloden did not want Starkiller to tell the rest of the Coalition about the planet. So, Goloden had decided to get rid of him.
Now he had decided a plan, he will try to talk Goloden out of this fight and tell him that he could get back at the Imperials. That might be a good idea and so he decided he would try and use it. If the former Captain decides he won't there might be a large battle. But if there is too much, he might accually ask help for troops from the other Coalition ship. But tommarow was a new day and they might have to even fight, it would be Starkiller's frist and not last battle. But then he had the grusome thought that he might even fire his blaster. It wasn't that it was new but that he had to kill. But he will decide that tomarrow.

The young man stood there, teetering on the edge of practically a nervous breakdown. Clutched in his trembling hand a small datapad emitted several beeps every few moments.
"Relax ensign. I'm your commanding officer, not your executioner. What have you got for me?" A caring man by nature, Commander Leshel did his best to calm the fairly new recruit before him.
"Captain Starkiller returned to the Scripto some few hours ago Sir. From what our reports can discern no peace treaty nor agreements were met. Intelligence suggests that the Codian Moon remains independent of the Coalition. "
"Anything else ensign?"
"Yes Sir. A short transmission was beamed from planetside to the Scripto. Unfortunately our slicers were unable to intercept the message in time."
"Has Captain Kerld been notified?"
"Yes Sir. He's asked that we surrender all orders to your command until he's able to join us on the bridge."
"Very well. Contact Sergeant Callas and have him prepare a small party to take down to the surface. I want the entire immediate area scouted before he returns. Should he make contact with any of the Scripto's personnel he is not to inform them of our reason for being in system."
"Yes Sir."
Turning away from the ensign, Leshel spread his gaze across the workers around the bridge. He knew little of Captain Starkiller but all the reports that he had read suggested a man who would not be so easily deterred from building allies for the Coalition. What ever had caused for Starkiller to return to his ship, chances were it was something that should be noted.
Hoping that he would soon receive the answers that he desired to the mystery of the Captains departure from the moon, Leshel stared out of the forward viewport. To the bottom of the screen the small trails of an ion drive could be send headed toward the Codian Moon.
* * * *
The Lambda-class shuttle rocked gently as it soared through the thin atmosphere on its decent to the Codian Moon. As the pilot managed to grind to a near simple halt, Sergeant Callas readied himself at the top of the ramp. Checking the power packs of his twin blasters he holstered them and began walking down.
Lacking in many of the standard types of foliage, the moon still held a serene kind of beauty to it. Somewhere over the top of a rocky crevice Callas could just make out the discernible image of rising smoke.
"Looks like that's our destination." He muttered to himself as he signaled his men and began moving forward. His eyes never ceasing to be on the alert for danger.

They were all ready the two thousand troops were assembled on the brink of fighting. The pods to the Codian Moon were almost ready and Starkiller of course was ready. He had decided that the planet was going to fight the troops assembled. All of the troops had Coalition battle-dress uniforms on with blasters.
He wacthed over them as Major Mithias was assembleing them in the hangar. He did not want to fight but seeing how it was the "Ewoks" were being somewhat opressed by the guards of the city. Goloden had the cheif and guards all ready to fight. The battle would be glorious, but the problem was, how would High Command take this? He had wondered that, he knew he was going to get in very big trouble for this but what could Starkiller do?
The men were finally assembled. Two thousand soldiers with gleaming blasters and plain uniforms where in a formation. All of these soldiers were even equiped with vibroblades and Captains were equiped with vibroswords. This was the final preperations. Even the fighter company was assembled ready to give any support to the Scripto. The large force of men were now getting into the pods and some of the advanced party was already shot down.
Starkiller had to climb into the Lambada-class shuttle soon. He decided now to do that. He quickly grabbed his blaster and headed towards the elevator. He pushed the down arrow and the doors opened to reavel Major Mithias.
"We have recived reports from the planet sir."
"What are they?" asked Starkiller.
"Well our scouts have ran into a conflict with the ewoks. They have reported that they have massed to four thousand ewoks. They are armed with just about everything. We are not sure on if they have blasters too."
"Then we just have to go down there."
"Sir that would be a suicide misson."
"Not while I'm here."
Starkiller laughed and got into the elvator. He pushed the down to hangar button. Then the elevator started to move. Then the doors opened again and the hangar was full of people running to ge to the pods. Everything was set, the Major told all pilots to "punch it" and all of the pods shot out at once. If you would have seen it from space it would be awesome.
~**~Hours later~**~
The pods landed roughly on the surface. The soldiers scrambled out to formation. Captain Starkiller saw ten dead bodies of Coalition soldiers with sword marks on them.
