(OCC: This is an union character to be, but for now it is of what led the character to the present moment or at least a glimpse of it)

The Present

Three men sat in a dimly lighted room; they all surrounded a table with their chairs and simply quietly stared at each others or the desk in the middle of them. Two of them tapped ash off their cigarettes from time to time and refilled their glasses with ale as they ran out when the night had progressed. They were known as the `committee` or so to speak, they were the chairman, the vice chairman and the spokesman of the Cyphar`s Free People’s Party or in short CFPP. Originally it was supposed to be a proper meeting, but after seeing the budget numbers many had left home or those that remained as the party had a rough time as of late. They were the third party, a minority within the population and the other two parties had an agreement between them to keep everyone else out of power. The two main parties changed power making the elections all the same; smaller parties were pushed aside by overpowering campaigning machines, threats or worse. The CFPP had decided to give them a run for their money and ironically it was their money that was ending, the party wasn’t able to gather enough funds for efficient operation.

And what would happen when the next elections would arrive? Use another great deal of money? But where can we get such money?

"So where did we make a wrong turn then? Where did we make a mistake that we fell into this damned hole of a situation?" The oldest and the chairman, Janos asked before dumping his cigarette to the ash cup and pouring another drink for himself.

The vice chairman, Karmon simply sighed and the spokesman, Leonid scratched his head. These men were ideologists; they believed that they would have been able to trash the two parties’ plans of keeping power by rallying the people with all they had. Yet that was not enough, nothing seemed enough and now the three head members of the party sat around wondering what went wrong? Leonid finished his drink and tsked as he placed the glass aside.

"Perhaps the people of this planet are just... stupid enough, we promised rights and enhancements for the people, but we could still try to change things as we gained almost as much as votes as the second party. It was a small difference and we could certainly try to change things from the opposition, try to simply use the old methods to turn people to our side..."

"Highly unlikely brother Leonid..." Karmon muttered with grin as they all remembered the old methods instead of inspiring the crowd with speeches or parades. "Taking riots to the streets from meetings or picking up fights with the guardsmen isn’t actually what many would consider civilized; besides you remember your first riot. None of us wish things like that to come to pass and after we were abandoned by our most notorious sponsor the rest have pulled out.

We can either go on with the old methods saving every credit we can or we can accept the fact that there is no future for DFPP...."

The two nodded quietly as eerie as it sounded it seemed that they were in a dead and the only option would be smashing their heads against the wall to achieve something yet that wasn’t very healthy on the long run. They could enhance their image with their current course yet they were running out of money fast with no sponsors. Turning back into a militant force was simply hitting yourself as much as your political enemy, no one liked a party that used violence as a tool unless it they were at first targeted with violence. The riots and marches of the CFPP in the past had been full of that, the guards getting CFPP and the CFPP beating up the guards to get attention. Not very civilized Leonid had to admit and nor did such riots anymore inspire the spokesman as he had witnessed some dear to him die in one. The planetary army had to step in as the guards had been beaten back by a massive riot raging with the heart of the capital. The only problem had been that it was Leonid that had been commanding the soldiers that had opened fire at violent rioters....

9 Months Ealier

"Lieutenant, Leonid Kahn reporting to service sir!"

The young man in the uniform informed to the captain sitting behind his desk before the young lieutenant, fresh out of the academy Leonid had thought his job would turn out to be like any other. Patrolling, reporting to higher ranking officers, calming down crowds and training. He wore a grey uniform and cap on his head, at the time he had short hair that had grown back on his head after the academy. The captain laid his eyes upon the new lieutenant entering his ranks with a most judgemental stare, to state that he was in charge and that Leonid would do as he told him to.

"Lieutenant, I received your file this morning and from what it tells me you are a highly devoted and distinguished man.... but I can’t say that I like the look of your personal record...." The captain stated with an annoyed voice.

"How come, sir? As far as I am aware I have not committed any crimes or anything that might have stained my record" Leonid asked with a steady voice not even blinking an eye.

The captain had a certain look that told Leonid that this was not about him, but more about someone close to him "You are married am I not correct?"

"Yes sir..." Leonid answered like a machine.

"And you are aware of what your wife does as her job?" The captain said and raised a brow as he continued the questioning.

"Y-yes sir....but I do n..." Leonid began to stutter in his speech as he was uncomfortable with the situation that he was facing in the captains hands.

"Lori Kahn, a notable member of CFPP and she has been arrested on many occasions for destroying property, resisting arrest, attacking law enforcers and for heating up the anger in crowds. Would you like to explain how an outstanding officer such as yourself came to unite with such a reckless hag? And more importantly do you support her views?"

The captain asked and clearly stating his political view, but also that for such loyalties there was no place in the army that was ultimately loyal to the planets government in charge. Leonid bit his teeth together as he tried not to explode at the captain for insulting his wife or worse jumping over desk ti strangle the narrow minded bastard. Leonid hmhed slightly at the question and finally answered after few seconds of rearranging his words that were about to come out of his mouth.

"I do not get involved in politics sir, she may be as she may and she might be a part of the DFPP yet that is her work. We both keep our work for ourselves and do not talk about it, bad for our marriage sir. Yet I believe she and her party simply wants to be heard more due to the course of their actions"

The captain hmhed, clearly amused by the answer yet could not hide his contempt that he could not do anything about the matter as there was no law forbidding such relations outside the army.

"I see yet you see to it that your outside relations do not get in the way of your judgement, I do not want one of my officers having a problem to execute orders just because he has a wife that in league with the rioters. Very well I shall assign you to lead 3 squads in the northern part of the city; you are to rendezvous with sergeants Maros, Farkel and Utho before the team barracks. You shall be given an assignment soon as I can sort out the mess of paperwork I am about to drown into.... Just walk outside the building and at the parking there is a transporters waiting for along with some other soldiers to be taken to the northern base.... Until your first next report goodbye lieutenant... oh and take this file, it holds specific details of your base, quarters and so on..."

The captain said with a cold tone as he began arranging the papers spread out on his desk and placed the file of Leonid amongst many others within a drawer. Leonid grabbed the file offered to him and exited the office into the hallway in where many soldiers awaited to be assigned; a strong stench of cigarettes floated across the hallway as Leonid walk trough it. He gazed quickly at the soldiers sitting by the wall and the fastened his phase to get out of the stench; he pushed his way out of the door into the fresh air. He coughed as fresh air entered his lungs and he quickly walked down the stairway to reach the parking. There floated a big, truck like army transporters that was greyish in colour and had stronger weaponry on the roof to be used by a gunner. He climbed aboard into a space that had two benches alongside by the wall with soldiers sitting there, at least no one smoked in the small space Leonid thought in relief. He took a seat near the entrance, after a few minutes the door was slammed shut and the transport notched into movement.

Most of the journey to the military base Leonid simply stared at the wall in his thoughts thinking of the meeting with the captain, especially the nasty comments of his wife made his gaze down at his finger that had a ring. Another soldier by him gazed quietly at his hand as he did so, but turned his gazed away as soon as Leonid realised that the soldier was staring at his arm. Not too many got married and entered service, many believed that only bad relationships would come out of that yet Leonid and his wife, Lori had survived even with them both busy. He had the army and his career, she had her political career yet they never talk about them as the military sometimes had to calm down riots. Nothing violent, except for some gas shells shot into the crowd to drive them back. Leonid could not help thinking of that was the military career the best choice for him and his wife, but it was a promise to his father who had made his swear so. Besides Leonid had never been much of an idealist perhaps, he liked that he had a straight path before him set by others and that he could decide how to go on that path by giving orders to his comrades.

Besides the military had been less violence of late as there were no major threats, the fleet might have had some casual struggles with pirates, but nothing more than normal patrolling on the surface. The stopping of the transport pulled him out of his thoughts or a consequence of it actually as a soldier accidentally hit him on the shoulder on his way out. Leonid grinned; slightly humiliated before dropping out of the transport to gaze around at the base he had entered. It had a normal barricade surrounding it and some fortified points, otherwise the barracks and others were lined well in the middle of the area. He headed for his barracks and soon was pushing the door open to gaze at the other officers of the army; he was obviously gazed at by everyone as he was new. He appeared confident as he walked past the others beds and took one that seemed to be free, everyone returned to their own matters as Leonid unpacked his items. He took one last gaze at the time, he still had around five hours before he would have to meet with the sergeants and he laid down as he had not slept in a while. The rest certainly would come into need as he would be in the heart of his first assignment in a matter of 7 hours....

Leonid turned around restlessly and muttered in his sleep as there was some sort of a noise, cutting trough the web of the dream that shrouded him so peacefully and he allowed for his other eyes to open quietly. He gazed towards the sound, someone had dropped his something and now a screaming was left into the room. Leonid blinked his both eyes together before making out a clear view of the current situation; there was a man on the floor with a blaster wound in his leg and two others helping him.

"What in the name of the abyss in going on?" Leonid muttered still half asleep from the two that were helping the wounded.

"Safety" The other officer stated quickly.

"What? I don’t follow"

"This poor bastard forgot to put on his safety on his blaster, one wrong move and pressure on the trigger, this follows!"

The man shouted with obvious frustration in his voice before a medical team arrived, they helped to pick up the wounded and he was taken away to med bay to recover. The wound seemed nasty and the man might have problems walking in the future at worst due to such wound all tough with technology there were ways of eliminating the bad sides of such wounds. Leonid gazed at the time, it was about time to meet with the sergeants at the barracks and to receive his first orders. Leonid quickly stood up and put on his boots; he quickly straightened his uniform and with fast phased steps walked out of the room. Yet he was suddenly pulled by the shoulder by the officer that had been helping the man, there were no one else, but them anymore in the officers quarters. The man had an odd, threatening yet also a warning gaze as he looked at Leonid.

"You were fast asleep that whole time weren’t you? So that I have all that I need in my report and you as well..."

Leonid did not like the tone, but did come to suspect what had happened yet he could do nothing as he saw nothing. Leonid nodded slightly before pulling himself free from the man’s grasp and walked out; it was a dark day with clouds on the sky. He had to hope that it would not rain because rain would make everything harder in everything. When he reached the barracks there were two sergeants before the barracks, but three squads waiting and one sergeant missing. Leonid greeted them in the normal way and gazed at the third leaderless squad.

"Where is... eh.. " He stumbled in his words as he was forced to gaze at the names of the men’s uniforms and this clearly amused that someone higher than them had to do so. "Farkel, where is he?" Leonid asked calling back on the incident few minutes ago.

"Should be here shortly, some messed up soldier had punched him in the face and caused a nasty bleeding nothing more or I think he might have decided to go by the armoury on the same trip..." Utho, who was a short fellow with blonde hair, smirked.

"Well he’d better get here before the captain arrives or at least his orders..."

Ironically that was true, it was in fact Farkel that was bringing the orders along with him as he had also apparently visited the command centre. Farkel was a big buy, one that would apparently smash your teeth into your throat, if you went too far with him or so it seemed at first. Leonid greeted the arriving sergeant and took the orders; he gazed at the data pad quietly and closed it after making clear he read right.

"Patrolling for today gentlemen"

He informed, some in the line grinned as patrolling was quite boring unless something interesting came to pass and that was rarely. Rarely did any radical or criminal group have the guts to stand up to the army as in the worst case scenario the army had the power to open fire. Yet that had been filled only rarely and was seen as a big stain on any officers record, that Leonid wasn`t too keen on receiving. At his command the squads loaded themselves into three patrol vehicles and Leonid himself occupied the one in the middle, the seat next to the driver. The patrol strolled out of the compound and first into the streets of the city, then outside and to the corners. It was a boring day, nothing special except for chatting with your comrades at arms whose stories were quite stupid from time to time. But who could blame them? After mindless boot camp and training not everyone’s thoughts were razor sharp as you had to do the same things over and over. That was what his first month in the military proved out to be, if you did not count the incident on the first day on of his duty, which made Leonid begin to dig up stuff…..

The Present

"Anymore ideas, brothers? Even something extreme might work in our case because we are in a dire trouble, I mean nobody wants to go back to their jobs... and some of us can’t..."

Janos said and he glanced at Leonid who seemed right away bothered or annoyed by the stare. Leonid placed aside his glass the laid his hands on the table slightly leaning forward.

"What’s do is done, I did it for her and that is the end of that matter. I might not be able to go back to the military here... I can always leave I guess and at worst become a mercenary. I think I am leaving to bed now, I’ll be back tomorrow and I see what I can salvage from this sinking ship" Leonid said as he pulled himself up and began to make his way to the door.

"True enough, but that is exactly what they want us to do. Throw the towel into the corner and submit to our inevitable fates on this planet that we have been stalling with our tricks. It is a damn shame to go down this way yet frankly as you saw that the party has lost confidence in itself, after all our efforts and wasted money we are only one step up without the ability to climb the next one...." Karmon said with sad voice, but then he seemed to ponder the word extreme. "What, if we gather enough weapons and rally our supporters to bring down the government? We have influence and Leonid; you have friends in the military still even when you have been tossed out. We could possibly pull it, it seems risky yes, but are we left with other options?"

Jarnos had a disbelief in his eyes, obviously not believing that the party would make such a turn around back into their old ways, but that would apparently be far worse than their old ways. They stood into a dead end, they had gone trough the options and hitting your head against the wall wasn’t the best option. Yet what Karmon was now suggesting was to pick up a rocket launcher and to blast that wall sky high. Leonid stopped in his tracks, he liked the idea of a revolution and of releasing all hell upon the government yet there was a huge problem. At the moment the door beeped, apparently someone was trying to enter the room and requested permission to enter. Probably a government official coming to hit the last nail in the CFPP`s coffin or a party member wanting salvage what he could. Leonid gazed at the door and looked back at Karmon.

"Even if we gain the support of the people and gain enough weapons to start a revolution I am afraid we cannot win such a battle, combined the national guard and military would crush a meddling militia such as us in the matter of days. As I said I have had enough of going over desperate plans to win this `war`... I am going to bed brothers..."

Leonid found the brother reference rather odd as the FCPP called each others like that for it was a resembling mark of that they all were equal amongst each others. Especially aliens had joined the party right away or at least those that had been harassed for being aliens or so by humans. Leonid unlocked and opened the door gazing at the person on the door with his eyebrow raised. The stench of cigarettes and fine ale floated out of the room onto the face of the stranger as the door was opened.

"What is your business here?"

Leonid demanded.

Standing before Leonid was a very well dressed man wearing a three piece black silk suit. He looked like a business man, but his stance was much more that of a predator and someone who killed people in his life. His eyes were almost chilling saying that he could just as soon kill you as make use of you and his beard and mustache grew together but were very finely trimmed. What was most disturbing is that someone as well dressed as this man before Leonid didn't even have an escorts with him yet he seemed totally unconcerned for his own safety. The man seized up Leonid for moment and then stepped in.

"Good evening, I do believe you three are the ones in charge of this CFPP movement?"

The oldest of the trio opened his mouth to respond but was cut off by the well dressed man who was now smiling.

"Of course you are, otherwise I would not be here."

The man pushed passed Leonid rather calmly with an air about him that said if Leonid tried to stop him, it would lead to something painful. The well dressed man then sat down in the chair Leonid had vacated and smiled.

"I understand that your party is on hard times, especially with those two big parties keeping yours downtrodden and such. Combine that with the fact that you are running out of money and I imagine the future looks very bleak for you."

The tension in the room was easy to feel, especially since this man look like one of the sleezy types that worked in the shadows for one of the bigger parties. The trio tensed as he reached into his jacket but then relaxed as they saw him pull out a data pad across the table to the oldest of the trio.

"I believe that sum of money there will be more than enough to revive your dying little faction and perhaps encourage you to take on the current government."

The well dressed man smiled, wondering what of reaction he was about to get from coming in like that.

The trio was indeed stunned and confused by this sudden appearance as certainly the government could not certainly have known of their poor state so who could have? Had someone been spying on their little party all this time? Such questions came first to mind; Leonid peeked outside and slammed the door shot a pondering gaze at the stranger. Janos reached out for the data pad as Karmon went for his blaster just in case as they could trust a sudden stranger that came in just like that. Leonid noticed what Karmon was doing and shook his head at him as Janos flipped the data pad around in his hands with grin. The three looked at each others quietly and then at the stranger, they would require more information than this run in. Leonid calmly drew out a new chair and planted it to the left of Xim. The three had to judge the situation carefully, they were suddenly without greater explenations opened a door out of their poor state. But who was behind such an offer and why were they doing this? What did they want of the CFPP.

"What is the meaning of this?" Janos spoke in a demanding tone as, if they were interrogating him to squeeze out information.

"And more pressingly how are you aware of our party’s state and why would you even help us? You cannot expect us to be blind and say yes before knowing where we going, in other words explain yourself..." Leonid said as he sat down into his chair and grabbed his own drink before Xim could touch it.

The well dressed man simply smiled, which only made him look more sinister and intimidating as his eyes moved from each member of the group the to other. His stance was very relaxed as if he felt no real threat here and for good reason. He'd seem and done many horrible things in his past life and a trio of would be revolutionaries weren't about to rattle him.

"The meaning is that I represent a group of individuals who would like to finance your movement. We tend to dabble here and there in galactic politics, influencing who rules and who doesn't. But how rude of me, you don't know who I am or whom I come from. My name is Xim, and I represent the Union."

Xim's eyes swept across the room for any telltale signs of recognition since rumors had been spreading about the existence of such a group. However he ventured on whether they recognized it or not.

"What I have come to offer you is the support of the Union. And when I say support I mean everything: money, weapons, influence, all of it. The only price the Union asks for in return is that your group become part of the Union. If you do I assure you that you three will sit on our governing body, the Committee. Of course, I should warn you that membership is permanent."

Xim let that last comment hang with the kind of dangerous tone that made it clear once you joined the Union, you didn't leave it until your were dead.

"So now, you wonder why the Union wants to help you? Because we are king makers. We can give you the power to take over this entire planet and even spread your ideals to neighboring worlds. You get your revolution, the Union gets another successful and influential member. We both benefit and no one else is the wiser of our existence. How does that sound to you?"

Xim's gaze moved about the table waiting for a reply.

With every word this Xim spoke the three grew evermore restless, he seemed annoyingly relaxed and confident of himself as he offered a deal in the name this mysterious benefactor, the union. It seemed to Leonid that there was no lying about the credits as he inspected the data pad and what more tempting, there was more than just money! They weren’t just being opened a door out of the dead end alley, the walls that surrounded them were being crushed by this mysterious faction. Supplies, weapons, money, revenge and power, all this was promised to them for the prize of permanent membership in this Union. The offer was tempted them all, but it scared them or to be exact it scared the two of them. Leonid was eager to agree and make a deal, it was time that the bastards in the government paid for what they had did to him, what they had tried to make him. Yet he did not have the authority, he threw a begging and anger filled gaze at his comrades. Janos was always pushing the brakes when they were seeing progress, Karmon would agree with reason yet was also tempted obviously. Janos could push full brakes on the matter and deny what they all wanted, he was careful for a reason yet this was not a matter to be argued about anymore.

"Decisions amongst the party leadership are made by the three of us as you aware... Xim..." Janos said with a slight grin and Leonid continued from there.

"I accept the offer for my part, we have already been told of the union and I suspect not many are aware of it. I am not willing to stand by as the government gets away with all of they do" Leonid said and gazed at Karmon for support, trying to gain his vote to top that of the chairman’s should he say no.

Karmon nodded "Nor do I wish to see the party crumble after all our hard work and see our enemies be the victors, it is decided we join the union as long as the union supports us back for our... membership..."

Now it seemed that all of the eye pairs in the room turned at Janos who seemed the most reluctant to join this union yet with the reasoning the others made and the votes they cast outnumbered that of the chairman’s. Originally there were around 9 members in the council each answering for their own specific things yet many had been beaten up or forced to leave the party. Such was the revenge of the one’s that had kept power yet this time with the support of the unions resources the CFPP could turn the tables on the government.

"We are... rather forced to take your offer though there seems to be always a catch in such promises... a sudden offer of power, money and aid. Where does this union draw such resources? Otherwise when you answer our meeting is concluded for we will have to prepare with these credits...."

Janos inquired at last as both of his comrades were more than eager to get to work, to unleash the tides of revenge upon their enemies in the form of a revolution. Yet now that they had shook the hand with the devil Leonid knew that it would not end with Cyphar, if Xim spoke of neighbouring worlds, which would be fine with Leonid. He was not mad for power, none of them were, but he was devoted to a cause and was willing to take it beyond one planet. Yet something bothered even Leonid in Xim, everyone that knew history knew that there had been once Xim the despot so why would someone name their child after him? A man that was considered a tyrant of somesort.

Xim just watched and listened as the group was drawn in by the Union's offer, though obviously very wary of just what they were getting into. So now the question came from just where the Union got its resources. That could have been techincally considered a trade secret but then again these people were now also technically members of the Union so it wouldn't hurt to explain to them the fact that the Union was, in fact, a massive network of organizations.

"The resources come from our other members who each contribute what they can to the Union's cause. It also helps that we control a rather hefty portion of organized crime around the galaxy which gives us access to much less legal sources of funding. That is a price one pays for hiding in the shadows but it is well worth it as it makes us capable of financing just about anyone we wish to, including your revolutionary movement."

Xim remained silent for a moment as if considering what next to say as he studied the individuals around the table. Leonid and Karmon were both eager to accept the deal but Janos was being pragmatic, enough so that Xim made a mental note to inform the Chairman and suggest Janos' assassination for the good of the CFPP. It was heartless, but then again the weak couldn't be allowed to hold back the stronger, more willful members. Karmon might have to go as well since Leonid gave off a stronger sense of leadership than the other two, but then again he was military trained which meant he'd be even more useful. The Chariman would decide upon Karmon's fate, but Janos was already marked for death now that Xim had encountered him in person. The Union couldn't afford to have weaklings sitting on the Committee.

"I do believe I answered your question as best I can," Xim finally said and stood up, seeing that the others were ready to enact their newly revitalized revolution with Union funding being pumped into it like life's blood.

As Xim left the two more eager members of the council smiled at each others yet their enthusiasm was calmed by Janos`s attitude, he seemed to be more pondering than ready to act. Leonid grabbed the data pad and held it upwards in his palm.

"I have many friends in the military that can aid us, they can pass on the credits and even bribe some of the army to our cause yet mainly we must rely on the people. We must start spreading the word of action right now, amongst the common folk to overthrow the government!"

Leonid declared in excitement, but was clearly annoyed as Janos sighed at his words as Janos was apparently more concerned of losing lives than their cause and what they had always worked for.

"I shall send word for all our supporters and party members to gather, we can get all the weapons we need from the military..."

Karmon added before he left the room to spread the word, Leonid gazed at Janos who still sat quietly at the table before he walked to the door. Leonid stared at Janos who grinned as he stumped his cigarette.

"Are you sure what you are getting us into?" Janos asked with gazing downwards.

"Me? What do you mean by that?" Leonid asked raising his eyebrow.

"You were the one so eager to accept the unions offer and to take the permanent membership"

"But, only because I wanted to bring the government to justice! They have to pay, we deserved that election victory! Not them, they have cheated always and they will unless I put a stop to them" Leonid said with anger because Janos was stalling him and seemed more passive now than ever, he was much of a pacifist. If there was to be change then blood needed to a catalyst for it.

"Oh so this has nothing to do with your wife’s death?"

Leonid grinned at the question before walking out to gather his military friends and to get them to do what was right for the people, what was required of them to stop the endless lies and to cut the web of corruption.

----------------

The gate slide open and Leonid slipped into the military base; there stood many squads all standing in lines and smile crept onto his face as the sergeants greeted him. Leonid gazed at his old friends and comrades, but now was not the time for talk, but action as the base was not completely theirs. Earlier Leonid had sent money to the base and had persuaded all those with the same ideals as he to join the coup. Elsewhere the CFPP supporters began swarming the streets and started riots drawing the attention of the guard as others headed for the base to be armed.

"I believe that only lower ranks soldiers are with us?"

"Well mostly... a few lieutenants and captains are being persuaded currently, but you could not even dream that the colonel here would agree because they pay him too well..."

"No matter, drag out all the soldiers that did not join us and cage them up for the time being. They shall not present any harm to us and some of our supporters are on the way that need arming, they are not soldiers, but they have the will to kill for our cause. Leave guards to the prisoners and to distribute weapons to the supporters, the rest will march out now with all the heavy artillery the base holds" Leonid said and made a slicing move with his hand.

"Certainly, but is there a more specific plan?" One of the sergeants inquired.

"For the time being the guards and the army that does not follow us is concentrated in the rioting. We shall march straight to the government district and bring down our oppressors. The supporters that are armed will come after us and barricade the streets to the area as we breach the government meeting. After they fall the army won’t object as we shall have the people and a number of military bases under our control."

Leonid said before the sergeants left to organize their men, most of them jumped aboard troop transports and cars as a group of CFPP supporters marched into the base. Leonid greeted them before jumping into a car that drove off in the armed convoy that headed for the government district.

---------------

The government was gathered for a meeting, they were happy that all tough they had been given a hard opposition in the elections they had still triumphed over the radical CFPP. They were all rich and happy, how could life get any better? Well perhaps not, but sure as hell their lives took a downward spiral as the doors to the senate were blasted open. Soldiers stormed in and took down the guards in the room, all the government was thrown into chaos as everyone rushed towards the exits. Leonid walked into the room after the soldiers with a pistol at hand as the government members were cornered in the middle of the room. Leonid shot a monitor on the wall to gain the attention of all of the senate.

"The people’s revolution has begun! All that resist our orders will be shot and all of you have been placed under arrest. The people are taking what belongs to them, the army stands with people and all the support the tyranny will be considered as enemies of the state!"

He announced with his blaster still held up high, pointed towards the broken monitor as the government members stared at him in quiet shock and disbelief.
