After Jesmin finished punching in the lock combination, a panel slide open. Jesmin promptly touched her finger against a needle, which finding that Jesmin’s DNA pattern was acceptable, opened the door. Two holocams turned towards them, along with a couple automated laser traps. Jesmin punched in another code once she was inside, and the door shut. She turned around and found that Jan was already seating on the couch, so she walked over and sat on the chair opposite him.

“Yes there would be a chance that the material would be stopped by the Ssi-Ruuk, if I hadn’t already thought of a plan to counter-act that possibility. You see, the Cren have a deal with the Ssi-Ruuk that says that any and all TFE ships are allowed to cross Ssi-Ruuk Space, unharmed. And, since I am the chief Admiral in the TFE Navy, I have the power to order supplies in to us. I have taken the liberty to order a convoy of all the necessary equipment to be shipped in, and made sure that it was flying under TFE codes. I will contact the convoy when they arrive, inform them that their destination is Gernon, and then we are done. Construction workers off of Mon Calamari are already on their way to being hired as crewers onboard the ships, and others will be used in loading the materials, some of which are dummy boxes for other construction workers to hid in. The company itself is completely unaligned and doesn’t care who pays them the credits, as long as they get them. Everything will work out fine, and we won’t have to worry about a thing.”

Jesmin leaned back in the chair, and smiled.

Jan was surprised that Jesmin had already planned all this out.

“Your actions, while good, were brash. Do you realize that if we hadn’t gone along with the assault that your crewers would probably have been killed on arrival at Farquak space? If we didn’t agree to this assault, it would have meant the deaths of thousands, and it might have even costs something more important then that. We could have lost you, our main spy on Farquak.”

Jan turned himself on the couch, his feet resting on it couch as well.

J'apol growled at this sudden turn of events. His agents had long been watching what the Rebels considered a safe house. That had a constent survaillence on it, though they had never seen anyone use the door that Jesmin Ragabag and that human had just entered. Before the agents had always used another door, located ont eh other side of the building. now that he had heared what the man accompaning Jesmin Ragabag had said, he was going to launch a strike against the safe house. He would not allow Sawara, Dawara and those other rebellious @#%$ to be freed. But he knew that Crinium would never listen to him accusing the Chief Admiral of the Farquak Navy of treason, unless he had proof. Also, his superior would either take all the credit for the operation later on, or else he wouldn't even allow the mission, saying that it was all speculation and that there was no proof. Commander J'apol quickly called up the names of his underlings that were acceptable for a mission that would involve a blaster fight. Unfortunately, since he was only a Commander, amongst numerous other police divisions, he had only 6 qualified men that he could trust, and 4 of them were humans. He glanced at the list as he called his secretary.

“Call G’lad’r, F’arna, Nad Romrad, Dan Morando, Jed Darmor and Bob Jarak to my office.”

“Yes sir.”

As the Cren and humans entered, J’apol told them of the plan.

“We have a special mission today. We are raiding a Rebel safe house. Also, we have news that our Chief Admiral, Jesmin Ragabag, is a Rebel, and if in the safe house. There are at least two individuals inside the safe house, Jesmin and a human. Our mission is to break our way in and then capture Jesmin Ragabag and the human. We do not know of any defenses.”

“We can complete it sir.”

“I know we can. Grab your weapons and then we will leave.”

“Yes sir.”

The Cren each grabbed two blaster rifles and a blaster pistol. 3 of the humans grabbed a blaster rifle, while another grabbed a blaster pistol and some grenades.

“We are ready to go sir.”

“Then lets move.”

Commander J’apol grabbed an extra blaster rifle and a blaster pistol. After checking the charge in the blaster rifle that he was wearing on a shoulder holster, he led the way out of the room. They climbed into an airspeeder and left.

When they arrived at the safe house, Commander J’apol came out first.

“I want Jed Darmor to plant an explosive charge on the door, while every one else fans out. Nad Romrad, you enter first. Stun anyone inside.”

The group started to advanced on the door…

As the troops advanced, a flying eye device recorded them and transmitted their picture to Jesmin. When she saw them she hit a button, arming the two automated laser traps hidden in the walls of the safe house. Another button armed the two laser traps in the inside section, and a third button opened a weapons locker. Jesim promptely ran over to the weapons locker.

"Here is a blaster rifle and some spare power packs. Get ready to fire soon. We have two Cren and 6 humans outside, all from the Farquak Empire. My cover won't be blown yet, if they had reported me, they would have had more troops. Get behind some cover. The entry way is narrow, we should be abl to kill any of them that get past our traps. Spare your fire in a line. Try to concentrate on the humans, I know the weak points of the Cren."

"I understand."

They set up behind some durasteel crates, meant to protect people from blaster fire.

If they have backup on the way, with heavy stuff, we are so screwed.

Commander J'apol saw the sections of the wall retract and reveal automated laser traps. He immediately rolled along the ground, towards the airspeeder and then opened up fire with his two blaster rifles, slowly pulling back to the airspeeder, to get some cover. He kept the blaster pistol off, he hoped he wouldn't need it. He saw one of the humans hit immediately, Dan Morando. Then volleys of fire came from all over. Jed Darmor continued to run towards the door. When he reached it, the two automated laser traps could no longer fire on him. When he was almost there, J'apol saw one of the laser traps turning towards Jed. J'apol stopped moving, took aim, and then fired three bursts at the laser trap, hitting it and destroying it before it could fire at Jed. Then Jed finally reached the door, just as J'apol reached the airspeeder. Jed slide along the door, until he was beside the automated laser trap. He pulled out an explosive, and planted it on the laser trap, before running away. The explosion ripped apart the automated laser cannon. J'apol grabbed more power packs for the weapons. After passing them around, he nodded at Jed. Jed tossed a grenade at the door. When it hit the door, the explosion ripped the door apart. Suddenly two more automated laser traps opened fire on his advancing troops.

How many of those things do they have?

"Split up. Go to the sides of the building, so that they can't fire on you."

The men split apart, G’lad’r, F’arna and Bob Jarak on one side, J'apol, Nad Romrad and Jed Darmor on the other side.

"Jed, toss three grenades in there."

"Yes sir."

Three grenades flew into the inner section, folowed by three explosions.

Now the question is, did that work?

Jesmin felt the building shake after the first explosion. When the automated laser traps could not be heard, she realized that they had taken down the first wave of defences. Her flying eye should that only one of the enemies had been killed. The second explosion was greeted with the sound of the second wave of defences opening fire on the enemies.

There goes the door, only two automated laser traps and a door left to stop them.

When a triple explosion shook the building, Jesmin saw the fire of those explosions. They had taken down the door. The flying eye should that both of the automated laser traps were still fine.

“Prepare to fire at any target that is visible, and that you can hit and kill easily.”

Jesmin quickly turned back to the weapons locker, and grabbed some grenades and two sets of thermal goggles. She tossed a set to Jan.

“Put that on. I will toss two explosive grenades at them. If even one of them is alive, I toss a couple smoke grenades at them, so they can’t see us, be we can see them.”

Jan and Jesmin put on their thermal goggles, and prepared to shoot.

That corridor is narrow, they will have to be bunched together, and this should be easy.

J’apol growled as he stuck one of his heads around the corner, and was shoot at by both automated laser traps.

“Alright, we blew down the door, but we still haven’t dealt with the two automated laser traps. I want everyone to swarm out and fire like mad on three. Understand?”

“Yes sir.”

“Affirmative.”

“Good. One, two three.”

The troops jumped out and started to fire. The Cren jumped out after the humans, but still F’arna was killed, almost immediately. Blaster fire spewed out at the automated laser traps, destroying one, but Jed Darmor was killed first. Then something unexpected happened. The human that Jesmin Ragabag had been with at the Leafy Green and Jesmin Ragabag both started shooting at his troops. Bob Jarak went down. G’lad’r shoot the automated laser trap, and then turned his attention towards Jesmin. As he did so, she shot him three times, once in each head, and then in his arm that jutted out the center of his chest.

She knows our weaknesses. We will have to kill them quick.

“Nad, grab Jed’s explosives, I will provide cover fire.”

J’apol opened up with his two blaster rifles and blaster pistol. He shot at Jesmin and the human’s heads.

Jesmin ducked her head down as J’apol started firing as fast as possible. She quickly grabbed two of the grenades, passed them to Jan, and then grabbed two more.

“On three, throw them into the hall, we need to kill the one going for the explosives, are we will be killed. One, two, three.”

They tossed the grenades over the crate, and then immediately felt the heat as the four grenades exploded, almost at the same time. Jesmin looked up, and saw that both the remaining enemies had been killed.

“Well, we are safe now, but I expect that the neighbours have called in reports of the explosions. We have to clear out of here fast.”

“I agree. I have agreed to go along with your plan. My fleet will be there in a week.”

“Excellent.”

The two of them parted, to leave the planet how they wished.

Present day, in orbit around Farquak.

Acbar watched as the transports came out of hyperspace above Farquak. They arrived one hour after Crinium had surrendered, while Jesmin and her troops finished mopping up any of the resisting troops. Sawara and Dawara had been freed, and had been taken to the new government building, where they had informed the world that the Farquak Empire was dead, and the Cren Alliance was formed. The Cren Alliance would be a member of the Mon Calamari Republic, and would strive to defend the area, and defeat the enemies of the Coalition of Lightside Factions. Acbar watched as the transports landed on Gernon and set up their bases. Finally, the mission of inhabitation on Gernon would begin.
