Chadd Fearsons, Emperor of the Rogue Empire, 10/27/01
_________________________________________________
The bridge of the Disruptor was calme, quiet, there was no noise beyond the common breaths of the workers or the bleeps and clicks of the computers. The planet before the Rogue Empire's flagships glowed a delightful turoise and green, the viual beauty raying into Fearsons' eyes with incredible wonderlust. He sat in that throne on the bridge, custom designed for his sole use. The PeFauna continued to stand ominously and everlastingly loya. Draped entirely in black they were not a sight for the easily intimidated.
The planet that lay before the emperor's eyes was the home of his most hated enemy, the Bothans. Ever since the Galactic Civil War, noe race did he despise more than those thorns in his side that were always causing trouble here and there. The worst part of their damage was that it was never a single, major, expensive target. No, instead the Bothans would destroy several inexpensive, light targets. The Rogue Empire was forced to ward off a Bothn attack force on Chandrilla when they attempted to steal Fearsons' most precious work yet, the HT-AT. Needless to say, the foolish spared dared not to try again.
Now it was time to pay back the Bothans for all they'd done to Fearsons, now the time had come for retaliation. Bothawui lay before his gaze, and he was prepared. Captain Wyldan, who barely held his rank after the Battle of Averam, stood before the window of the bridge, gazing at the sphere of light, water, and land.
Fearsons' lips curled into a slight grin. "Having fun there Captain?" he mused tauntingly. Wyldan jumped slightly and turned to face his emperor. His hand snapped to his brow in a brisk salute, eyes facing forward to the wall, trying not to focus on the emperor.
"TIE Advanced are prepared to launch for preliminary patrols my lord," he began, preparing for a full report, but the emperor's voice briskly cut him off.
"Position the Disruptor to the far side of the planet, bring the Assault Cruisers to the atmosphere and bring the Wendigo and Red Dog to the opposite of the planet, enforce a deadly blockade and destroy everything coming in or out," he ordered with a feral grin spreading onto his lps. There was no objection from Wyldan, at least none that the captain was ready to voice. Fearsons had said one simple word to him after the Averam campaign..."PeFauna". It was no doubt the final hinge of his tolerance, as so many have fallen to those elite members of society when that was the only explanation that they received.
"Of course my lord," was all Wyldan managed to stutter out. When he was no longer at attention, he had to pull forth great effort to remove his curious look at the pitch black guards. The feeling like one of the fools were snickering at him behind that beautifully shiny helm bothered the captain to no end.
"You are dismissed Captain," the emperor barked suddenly, breaking the glare between the two servants of the Rogue Empire. Wyldan let out one disappointed sigh before spinning on his heels to relay the orders.
Fearsons monitored every step, every motion the captain took toward the command consoles. He liked him a lot more now, he spent less time trying to figure Fearsons out and more time actively participating in duties and responsibilities. It was the kind of order and devotion he loved.
Seeing as Bothawui no doubt had at least a moderate navy, and that would be the major issue ahead. Of course, this was in no way a "takeover", as many had believed. Instead the Rogue Empire was attempting to cripple the Bothan navy, knowing that Bothawui could not cause any damage if they were inable to mobilize. And thus, the navy was the obvious step.
"My lord, we have an incoming transmission from the planet," he heard, breaking his sudden chain of thought. Frustrated and annoed eyes looked up at the communications officer. Judging by the rank cylinder pinned to the collar of his shirt, he was an ensign, so he could not have been that experienced.
Fearsons eased himself lazily out of the throne, and gave the ensign his full and undivided atention. "What're they saying?" he mused, politely moving toward the communications uplink.
"Lvesk Mel'Trow requests a HoloNet audience with your excellency," the ensign responded, his eyes glued to the monitor ahead of him. Fearsons was pleased, this young lad knew his military etiqouette well.
"Put him through," he said with another feral grin. The tiny figure of a furry and spineless Bothan appeared on the counter before him. The emperor enjoed these small projections, making him feel grand and powerful over the tiny figured. He wanted to reach down and smash the spy, but refrained from doing so, more out of protocol than any real restraint.
"What is it Bothan?" Fearsons growled with anything but respect and etiqouette. The furry figure's eyes crunched up with annoyance, but his posture didnot change.
"I am here to initiate negotiations," the Bothan began with a voice that was soothing and calm. By now a small crowd had formed around the comms desk, as the emperor often put on an interesting show.
"What makes you think we're here with hostile intent?" Fearsons chortled at the Bothan's assumptions. They were of course correct, but he was jumping to conclusions, how typical.
The Bothan grimaced slightly in response. "Provided there are several warships approaching our vector at high speeds with fully charged shield and weapon sstems, we must certainly come to the conclusion that there will be hostile intent."
"As the initiating officer of negotations, would you like to get the ball rolling?" Fearsons inquired delightfully, completely ignoring his previous statement. The Bothan huffed angrily.
He seemed to be more disturbed that his assumptions were correct. "On what terms will peace be maintaned?"
"Maintaned? Oh that would be difficult Lvesk Mel'Trow, as you would be required to hand over your planet."
"That is out of the question!"
"Then so is peace," Fearsons growled, switching off the HoloNet link with a slam of his fist on the keyboard, and spinning to move back for his throne. A satisfied smile adorned his lips now as he sat himself down onto his rotating throne. Were the Bothans that foolish?

Alana walked through the streets in the Capital of the Bothan homeworld. She could sence something was wrong almost instantly, but she did not have the Jedi skills to verify what. She looked around for Kat, who she knew was a full Jedi Knight for help.

Kat Kariana, 10/27/01
Kat felt the deadly presence as soon as it entered the system. Worry filled her, she diddn't know what was to come, but she knew it wasn't good. Quickly she started looking for Alana.

ChaddFearsons, 10/28/01
The small bridge of the Bothan corvette had sprung completely to life in the past few minutes. They had just received orders to regroup with the fleet and eliminate the Rogue Imperial presence. Captain Bel'Lemsky was in no way pleased about this...incident. He heard the rumors of the Rogue Empire's speed and efficieny, of how they jumped into Averam and completely conquered the planet in a matter of days, and how they had slain an entire navy with a single Star Destroyer. Or of how the Black Dragon Fleet's only Super Star Destroyer was destroyed by Fearsons' mere touch. No, Captain Bel'Lemsky was in no rush to assist in this battle. But then again, orders were orders.
The ship was positioned with the rest of the fleet, which seemed far too large to attack just an oncoming force from what he heard. Three strike cruisers, one Bulwark Cruiser, a Victory Star Destroyer, and two Interdictors. Were they...worried?
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Lady Tabris, 10/28/01
Some distance away a ship flashed out of orbit. The battle crusier Defiance remained unnoticed by either group, at least for a while. As she stared out the bridge window the young lady's sapphire gaze immedietly rested on one ship among those outside the planet's atmosphere. Without turning to look at him she addressed her captain.
"The battle has not yet begun then. I suppose you had better let them know we are here, I don't want to be fired at because one of those young idiot crew members did not recognize us. Contact the Disruptor."
"Yes M'lady, at once."
The captain switched on the communications uplink to the Disruptor
"This is the Defiance, the Lady Tabris requests immediate audience with his excellency."
"Of course.." Replyed the transmissions officer.
Still gazing at the Disruptor lost in thought Tabris jumped slightly as the familiar voice came across the uplink.
"Yes?"
The voice sounded somewhat suspicious and Tabris smiled slightly, remembering that the Emperor was always suspicious of uplinks.
"Is that all I get m'lord? That is not very friendly of you, especially when I have come all the way out here to see if I can help at all.
There was a slight pause before the response came
"Tabris! I'm so sorry, you've got to understand the Bothans and their trickery....I was just being precautious."
A look of disgust flashed across her face at the mention of the Bothans. She stood slowly but gracefully and brushed her hair out of her face before replying
"Certainly. I understand perfectly. May I have permission to come abored m'lord? It would be safer than talking like this, and then you need not worry."
"Of course come right aboard, I'll send my shuttle out to greet you."
With that the link closed and Tabris turned and exited the bridge ordering the captain to take care of the ship as passed. She briefly stopped at her quaters to get her belongings and her personal attendent and then briskly walked over to the landing bay where an escort shuttle with three TIE Defenders met her.
They landed in the hanger bay of the Disruptor and Tabris stepped out of the shuttle followed by her attendent. She raised her eyebrows as she saw the Emporer escorted by his guards come over to meet her. She checked herself as she started to run over and hug him. And narrowing her eyes slightly waited until he came up to her.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
ChaddFearsons, 10/28
Fearsons showed Tabris a sheepish grin and held his arms out like a shrug. There was something a bit wrong with him, as if it wasn't him, she could not sense the Force in this man's presence, no matter how much he looked like her Fearsons. Her questions were answered as his forehead blipped slightly, like a screen that needed to be focused. She knew then that it was simply Fearsons' holographic image, he must've been on the bridge preparing.
"Sorry Tabris, allow me to bring you to the bridge at once, this was just so I could see you...and command the fleet," he said calmly and excitedly. Something formed in his eye before the hologram went off.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Dath Poreon, 10/28
Commodore Loak slammed his fist down on the table. "The Argon stays with the Fia, no matter what." He slammed his fist down again on the table, shaking it, causing his subordinates coffee cups to shake. Commodore Loak, Commander of the First Dread Force-- a subsidary of TNSO Defense Department-- had been given orders from Supreme Command to transfer two of his ships to a new Government that supported TNSO in certain ways. Further more, Loak had to decide which of his six dreadnaughts to transfer. It was definitely a complicated matter, the decision would not be easy, and Loak did not intend to make until the capture was complete.
"Notification from the bridge. We should be at Bothawui soon." A crisp looking Private, First Class announced.
"Ok then. Meeting Dismissed. Attend to your stations." Loak clapped his hands, then shook each of his respective subordinates in order. He motioned for his aide, Colonel Majine, to fall in step with him as he walked to the bridge.
In a hushed voice, "Majine, it's definitely going to be the Carlos and the Ksamov that The Rouge's get. Don't tell the crews yet, we need them loyal to secure this system. Gawd, I can already smell that nasty bothan fur."
Commodore Loak's crew was pure human. He was a radical ex-Imperial that despised all alien species. Loak was kicked out of the New Order because he killed three wookies just because the wookiees tracked dirt into his ship. Loak's dislike of aliens prevented him from ever graduating beyond the Commodore rank. He was a great commander, but he lacked social tact.
"Majine, tell me: we are good to go?" Loak spread his hands.
"Yessir. Everything's in the green." Majine replied, stopping his stride to let the bridge door open just as the Fia transisted back into realspace alongside its brethen, Argon, Carlos, and Ksamov.

Kat Kariena, 10/28
Kat could feel things growing, she hadn't a clue what was going on, but her feelings were hardly ever wrong. Pulling out her comlink she contacted Kalex, who she knew was on a run nearby.
"Yeah what is it Kat?" Kalex asked, his voice calm and as carefree as it could be.
"I need you to do me a favor-"
"Oh no, you owe me enough favors," Kalex replied, laughing.
"Kalex, this is IMPORTANT," Kat answered. "Please, come to the Bothan homeworld and see what's going on in space. Drag my sisters and Tabby along with you.... I have a bad feeling."
Kalex sighed, "Alright, but you owe me for this."
"Don't I always," Kat mutterd turning off the comlink. She looked at Alana, "Be ready, kid. Kalex and Tabby are checking it out, but I don't think what their going to find is good. How good are you with a lightsaber?"

"Pretty good, I've been working on my saber skills for a while now, but I'm not good enough," Alana replied hiding her distaste at being called 'kid'. She was always called that as a child, always living in the shadows of her older brother and sister even though she wasn't like them. She was expected to be a combination of unbearably perkey and a flirt, but she was neither.
"What's going on anyway? Why do I feel like something bad is about to happen?"
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Kat Kariena, 10/28/01
"I've seen you work with a saber, Alana. You're the Skywalker version of me, you're better than you think you are," Kat replied handing Alana her single bladed saber. "I don't know what is going to happen, did you ever develop those force skills of yours?"

Kalex Wrenrek, 10/28/01
Kalex mumbled and muttered all the way to Bothawi(sp) but he got there and took a look around.
"Damn, Kat, Why does she always get me into this?" he muttered.
"Could be beacuse she looks up to you, Kalex. You're like her older brother. All of her friends live in our world, we're her only connection to sanity, you know that," Tabby replied over the com. She was flying in her own ship, Katrin and Katri right behind them. They had just finnished a smuggleing run. They were going to have to pull a couple favors on Kat, and soon. She was starting to drive them insane.
"Remind me after this to send Kat on some bounty hunting mission to return the favor," Kalex mutterd.
The three females in the other ships laughed.
"This doesn't look good," Katrin said as she scaned the area. "Not good at all...."
"What do you mean?" Kalex said as he looked at his scanners, "Never mind..."
Picking up his comlink he paged Kat, "Uh, Kat...We've got a problem... You're in trouble... I'd get off the planet... and FAST."
