It had been a request, a show of good faith and good will. It had been ignored. It had become a demand, a much needed and necessary measure in time to ensure the saftey of a financial empire. It was scoffed at and duely ignored. All the while IDTech had been solidifying its hold over the Tholatin government and military. While the moment was right, Kamon was still absent in TNO custody it luanched its take over...
The Nexus

-1 Week Earlier-
The yellow hue left much to be desired for ones eyes, but it was the natural lighting cuased by the artifical lights across the city. The civilian traffic had since ceased as the entire nexus had been evacuated while military transport after military transport shiped down under Reecee's surface. Preperations were being made, the forces were standing ready; hundereds of heavy lifting transports, At-pt's, At-At's, Anti-air hover tanks, millions of droid troopers. All pouring through the gate in military procession to Tholatin, The Nexus of their side just being finished, not yet occupied by Tholatin forces or civilians. A front base was being built by IDTech right under the Tholatin captial, all in secret, and all under their noses. The industrial might of a corporate/militaristic operation became stagering as in a matter of days a full temporary base establishment had been set up for full scale invasion. When the blow did come, it would come in many parts, and would hurt a slight more than ever.
The Nexus
Tholatin Side
-Yesterday-
It glowed faintly blue, large hoverships flew along the upper recess's of the cavern. Everyone was on edge, the system needed to be be in place, on time, or the entire plan would be shut down from here on out. A large cone emerged from the center of the chambers floor, it connected to every system in the chamber and glowed with power. It was untested, but by pourpose alone it could not be tested or else be found out. Through the chambers outter exits, this 'cone' was wired into the Tholatin holonet, specificaly conecting to the largest and most powerful transmitters on the planet. When activated the signal came it would be activated, and prepared or not, each individual part of the takeover would occur.
Edge of Tholatin Space
The fleet emerged from hyperspace in a flash of light, more than likely being detected by the Tholatin defense fleet. It wouldnt matter either way, the situation was no different than any other day, IDT ships came and went daily from Tholatin space, not en mass like this, but it was all still IDT. The Tholatin navy sat in wait, circling the home system defensively as to not repeat the last hostile fleet appearance in their space. As the fleet entered Tholatin space, ship breaking vessels were loaded, fighter squadrons were loaded, this would be a most glorious day indeed...

"Everythings in place Mr. Raktus, we only need your word..."
He sat back in his desk, juggling a set of balls between his fingers, he was weighing the reprucusions in his head, he had already paid much for this oprotunity, it would not come again, what he did, he did now
"The word is given"
"Aye sir, by your command"
With that the Furtun transmitters swung towards Tholatin space, where a brief but powerful signal was sent, this signal was picked up by the planets transmitters themselves, an IDT subrutine transfering it back through the military sub-mainframe and back to the ships of the fleet. Just as quickly as it had started, it began again. In solar orbit, ship after ship powered down, total ships power was lost. Life support, gravity, engines, communications, everything. If all were going as planned, IDT Enforcers aboard each ship were working to secure each bridge, those that failed would suffer by dying with the rest of the vessel, those that succeded would earn the lives of all those aboard. In effect, they were going to swear loyalty to IDT or die.
The Nexus
Tholatin Side
-Now-
The same signal that filtered across to the military sub-mainframe transfered down on a delayed server reaction to the cone, and as it came to life it spurted forth a shell of white noise that covered the entirety of Tholatin space. Indestinquishable from the normal white noise of space, it would block any and transmissions being made within or to out of the system. Until the end, nothing would leave this system, not till the very end. With that the Nexus opened and from its recces, like demons from hell, the army moved, and it moved quickly...
