The Jedi Assassin's blade moved so quickly that the Admiral's eyes likely did not even see it. She moved with speed aided by the Force, her blue blade of hard, and hot, white energy slicing through the Admiral's arm at the wrist. The hand laying where it was. The arm, seared and cauterized.

The Jedi assassin moved in between the removed hand and the Admiral himself.

"Your palm will remain there until we over-ride your codes."

The Jedi assassin's blades spun deftly in her hands, her eyes fell upon the door as the General entered. He posture was, even now, defensive. Though she betrayed no emotions outright.

"Chief of State, do as you will. The ship, yourself, or the people on this vessel are in no present danger."

The Jedi Assassin's blades hum distinctively. Her eyes watching all.

Current Time, onboard Twilight

Luckily, the FIO had enough resources to arrange for anything, and Xeneth Tellien was gained passage as a dignitary onboard the Twilight. He and an FIO agent stood at the door of the bridge, the controls not opening it. "How long have they been in there?" Xeneth asked the man quietly. He'd just heard the blaring message of Hiram Drayson across the

"I'm not sure. But the door is sealed."

Xeneth nodded. "What's the only way that one old man can hold a Jedi hostage?"

"He's going to blow up the ship," The agent answered, his training reflexively kicking in.

"Right. Go to engineering. Take the power core of this vessel offline. Leave on secondary power for life support and communications." The agent hesitated. "Go!" Xeneth told him again, and he did.

Tellien pulled a blaster from his belt, pointing it solidly at the door's operating console, and firing. The doors of the bridge slid open in front of him, and he stepped through. Pointing the blaster at Drayson's head, he stepped forward slightly. He noticed the man's hand was severed, but still lying on the console -- a self destruct console.

He brought an arm commlink to his mouth, one broadcasting on the same frequency as Hiram's. "Belay those orders. This is General Xeneth Tellien of the Rogue Jedi Order and New Republic. Admiral Hiram Drayson is a traitor to the Republic who is being immediately placed under arrest by the rightful, proper Chief of State of the NR." He paused a moment, realizing that more would need to be said. "You remember me; I was by your side as we fought at Wayland, at Dantooine, at Talus. Drayson was not. Under Xylon Hexyra and Gash Jiren, under the rightful chancellors of the Republic's army. Any of you who are still loyal to Xylon, any of you who are still loyal to Jiren -- any of you who are loyal to even the memories of those two, stand down your weapons and belay those orders. Those who are not will be destroyed with the rest of this insurrection."

"This plan is over, Drayson." He chuckled, waiting for a second. "Wait for it..." And then the lights in the cabin -- and all over the vessel -- flicked off, leaving only the red emergency lights.

"You're going to have a very hard time destroying this ship." He looked at the disembodied hand. "In more ways than one."
