He moved quickly and quietly in the main city of Naboo, scared to open himself enough in the Force to signal to his fellow Jedi. Yes, he was a Jedi Knight, but he could not deal with this alone. And it had been so many years since he had last been home.....

He glanced down the alleyway before crossing the street, positive he was being followed. He grabbed his lightsaber, whose blade was a silvery-white, and held it tightly in his hand. It had been his only friend for quite a long time.

He ran, now, and shortly spotted an open building to enter, one that led to the upper part of the sky. To the place where he could see all he needed to see, and maybe even signal his Jedi friends.

<font color=blue>Naboo was a planet of great beauty. From space, it was a sphere of green and blue mixed together to form a lovely scene. On the planet's surface, that beauty became even more pronounced. The inhabitants built their cities to compliment the natural beauty around them, and because of their peace with the Gungans, they had done little to industrialize or destroy the flora and fauna that was native to the soil.

Due to the huge amount of lifeforms on the planet, the Force was very tangible on Naboo. One only had to reach out, and he could feel it. Kahn was enjoying a meditating session, something he had been doing more often than usual. It seemed as though the only time he was really at peace since Hanna's death was when he was in deep contact with the Light Side.

Suddenly, there was movement in the Force. It was a feeling of unrest, a feeling that something was not right. Standing up with a slight frown on his features, Kahn picked up a simple brown cloak and put it around his shoulders. His lightsaber was clipped to his belt, just as it always was. Exiting his home, the Jedi Master walked a bit along a road before reaching the city of Theed, Naboo's capital and largest city. Yes, this was where the disturbance had come from. He could feel it.

Entering the city, the Jedi Master began to wander about the streets, trusting the Force to guide him to whatever he was being led to.

Kenshin ran his fingers over a massive tree's trunk feeling more than its outer rough texture, but also its firm bond with the Force. The padawan closed his eyes and traced the delicately balanced threads of Force energy up the tree's branches and into one of its leaves.

Then the tree shivered. Or actually Kenshin thought it did. The padawan's eyes blinked open in mild surprize. He then closed his eyes in further inspection. He found that though the tree could shiver, it was actually its Force energy that did. He wondered if the tree tried to tell him something. Kenshin almost laughed. Was it crazy to think that the tree communicated to him? Though he tried to find it funny, he oddly didn't.

Kenshin removed his hand from the tree and closed his eyes to search the Force for a confirmation. The padawan opened his eyes with a blank look.

There was a slight disturbance in the Force like the tree had just 'said'. The padawan decided to search out this disturbance.

Kenshin picked up his cloak and threw it over his shoulders as he got up. He then made his way out of the Jedi Academy's Gardens and into the streets of the city.

Looking down from his place on the top of the building, Tec saw all he needed to see: his enemy, who was getting too close for comfort.

He also felt through the Force another Jedi, though he had no clue where this one was coming from. With a curse under his breath, something he didn't do often, Tec turned away from his spot on the rooftop and looked to his right.

He saw in that direction more rooftops, and figured it would be better to travel that way than to travel on the ground, especially considering his bad health and the fact that he could only just make long jumps using the Force without completely giving away his position.

Then, without any hesitation, Tec took off at a dead run, jumping the space in between the buildings; heading towards the other Jedi.

Kenshin blinked as he felt the Force signature he had been tracking suddenly move at a rapid pace. Well, rapid on normal standards, it was nothing for a Force user. On closer inspection, he noticed that its position was above the rest of the population.

The padawan smiled. Whoever it was, he or she was traveling by the rooftops. He lept onto the roof of a nearby building and jumped after the being.

Tec ran for almost a half an hour on the rooftops, stopping every so often to look down at his follower. At one point he had turned, starting to move towards the ports and such in the innermost part of te city.

Shortly after his turning point, he noticed a sudden change through the Force. There was another person chasing after him, now, and this person was not a fully trained Jedi, but they were a Jedi nonetheless.

So, minutes later, when he neared the ports, he let his Force presence free, and though he was very strong in the Force, his abilities were subdued a bit by his past few years in dungeons and in places blocking his use of the Force.

Now that he was traceable to all Force users, he was at an advantage and a disadvantage, for there was more than one person chasing him that was allied with the one who had been right behind him, but they had been looking in different parts f the city. Then, of course, there was that unknown presence of the Jedi...

"Come on you bags of vermin dung!" Tec muttered strongly under his breath, a new curse he had created.

Then he grabbed his lightsaber and ignited it. The people around him started backing away now, but their presence would protect him...at least a little bit.

Suddenly, Kenshin caught a glimpse of a lightsaber. As the crowds moved away, he noticed the man wielding it. The Force signature matched with the one he was tracking.

He suddenly noticed other presences chasing him. Darker presences.

The padawan lept off the roof he had been standing on to the side of the mysterious man with the lightsaber.

"You are a Jedi Knight? I assume by your Force signature. Can you please tell me why a group of people are chasing you?"

Kenshin searched the crowds expectantly. They would pop up any moment now.

Tec watched the young Padawan come up to him with a straight face, paying more attention to the Force than anything else going on around him.

When the man asked him whether he was a Jedi Knight, Tec only nodded, not wanting to waste any energy. He reached out with the Force, grabbed a few memories of his past months, and pushed them into the other's mind.

That outta be enough, Tec thought to himself as he went back to watching his surroundings and paying attention to the Force.

They didn't have to wait long for the Dark Jedi to come, for they came only moments later.

The first one, the one that had been closest to Tec, was wearing all black, and he stood a towering seven feet tall with long, curly bright red hair.

ooc: I'll let you come up with a description for the other two or three....:)

OOC: My apologies about the delay.

IC:

Another tremor in the Force, this time clearer and more insistent. There was trouble nearby; Kahn was sure of it. He quickened his pace, taking longer strides through the throng of people crowded in Naboo's streets. Jedi were trained to blend in with crowds, to lose the physical grace and fluid movements that set them apart from non-Force sensative beings.

However, Kahn had a feeling that it would be better to leave his presence uncloaked; it was faster that way, because the crowd naturally parted when a Jedi was in the midst. The people of Naboo were not strangers to Jedi, and they knew not to get in the way of one with an air of urgency such as Kahn.

Rounding a corner, the Jedi Master halted, his hand brushing his saber to confirm its existence at his side. He recognized one of the people in front of him as Tec Fireheart, a fellow Jedi. The other, he could not place, and the three foreboding figures were unfamiliar as well.

The red-head was accompanied by two others, one who had a nasty scar on the side of his face that was framed by unkept, greasy black hair. The last had his dirty-blonde hair pulled back in a ponytail. The Dark Side hung like a shadow around them.

His facial expression calm, his voice even, Kahn spoke quiety to Tec.

"Are you in need of assistance, my friend?"

Tec grinned now as he saw a man he had only worked with once, and even then on an unfinished mission.

"Quite, Kahn," Tec said in a hoarse voice, as if he hadn't had much to drink of late. Tec turned to look at Kahn, seeing as Kahn had come from behind Tec, and he nodded, a sort of "I'm ready" signal.

Suddenly, Tec jerked his head back around and yanked his lightsaber up, barely keeping his torso from being sliced in half. He was no longer paying much attention to anything around him as he circled his saber and stepped back, looking deeply into the red-haired man's eyes.

ooc: It's ok.
