"Have the new ships successfully undergone their trials?" asked the Imperial commander.
"Almost" replied the yard boss. "They still need to test their weapons. But for this test, the Admiral requested one mobile Mon Calamari cruiser analog, four movable gunship analogs, the number four shipyard which is scheduled for demolition and replacement, and two thousand m-type mines."
"Hmm, I cannot wait to see the test. This should be interesting." said the commander.

"Acquiring target lock. Gravity solutions being plotted." spoke the gunnery officer.
"Gravity solutions plotted. Now plotting target speed." spoke the gunnery officer.
"Target speed confirmed. Now analyzing target's past performance...." spoke the sensors officer.
"Analyzed. Elevating barrels." said the gunnery officer.
"Target lock on confirmed." said the gunnery officer.
"Very well. Commence firing." said the capitan.
"Commence firing. Yes sir." said the gunnery officer as he clicked the red button.
A slight tremor ran the length of the ship as the might gauss cannons opened fire on the Mon Calamari cruiser with Armour-Piercing Projectiles. The first four issued from the forward turrets smashed the shields into pieces on the bow of the cruiser. The four from the rear turrets smashed into the hull of the cruiser, turned it into so much compacted wreckage.
"Switch to High Explosive, Contact. Prepare for Ripple Fire." the capitan ordered.
After several more sentences were spoken, the gunnery officer said, "Target lock on confirmed."
"Very well. Commence firing."
"Commence firing. Yes Sir."
Three times each barrel aboard the support cruiser fired, each wave consisting of eight shells one and a half minutes apart from the other, smashing into the Mon Calamari cruiser, blasting it apart. Each wave consumed 400 meters of the ship. In the end, there was not much left of the cruiser, save it's drive engines and exhausts. In five minutes, the cruiser had utterly been obliterated.
"Switch to HE, Proximity. Target, middile of gunship formation." said the captian.
After a minute, the officer said. "Target lock on confirmed."
"Very well, commence firing."
"Commence firing. Yes Sir."
Again, the drill was repeated, except this time, the type of shells used were proximity. When they detected that they were within one hundred meters of a target, they detonated, buffering the gunships, turning them into floating pieces of burnt wreckage.
One final time, they switched to HE, timed. The other three cruisers slaved their computers to the first ship, and all four target the shipyard. One ripple firing later, each cruiser's shells set to five seconds after another cruiser, the shipard was demolished, holed in the center, the twenty thousand kilometer spanning of metal torn apart at the center, the timed sequence of explosions tearing it apart. and so the stunned commander and yard boss gaped at the power of the newest Imperial support cruiser.
