He walked quietly, the air moving his robe as he walked, his calm blue eyes studying everything around him. He approached teh man with calm, his eyes still studying.

"Excuse me, Han, Han Skywalker?"

The man turned looking at him, confusion on his face. Then the realization hit him, it was the young man from the bar.

"Sir, i never got a chance to thank you, for what you and the others did. The doctors said i had twenty five minutes to live, if you hadn't helped me when you did, i would be dead now. For that, i am eternally indebted to you."

"However, i have one teeny little, minor insignifigant problem. "

"What is it?"

"THe doctors call it trauma induced amnesia. I don't have the foggiest clue who in the blue hell i am. I can't remember my species, my homeworld, i can't remember much of anything sir. My own name slips me at the moment. I don't have anywhere to go, and i don't feel right asking the man in dark armor, something about him gives me a case of the screaming willies."

"If you will teach me how to survive, i will help you as best i can sir." He turned his neck, hearing a bird in the distance. The necklace was evident, the dark metal glinting as teh sun caught a bit of it. It was a metal cross, with a skull and crossed bones on it. He turned back to Han, his eyes serene, peacful pools of introspective thought. "Will you help me again, sir?"

"By your silence, i accept your refusal, sir. I do not wish to bother you any longer, be well, master Jedi." He turned away, his hands pulling his hood slowly over his head as the rain began to fall. He walked into the crowd, blending easily, disappearing into the throng of people as Han went about his business.

*Han felt with the force, and picked up Mitz's presence. He followed it, and met him right outside of the door.*

"I was contemplating my answer. Never take a jeid's silence for an answer, because they haven't given you one yet. I will help you, because i can see that you truly need it."

"Others have greater needs than....and their needs outweigh mine. It was foolish of me to put my needs above the needs of others."
  • Posted On: Aug 15 2002 6:24am
*Han grinned as he clapped Mitz on the back*

"Perhaps, you are correct. But i don't see them out here, with the problems you have, so tehrefore, i'm gonna start by fixing your problems, and go from there. Once i've made my mind up, you can't change it, and you'll find i'm stubborn as a mule. Now get in the speeder, and tell me everything you can remember, if anything at all.

he sat down in the speeder, his pack over his shoulder. "I have seen places i could not have been. People i should not know, old friends i should not mourn. I have seen children, i know that they are my children, but i can not remember their names, where they were born."

"I remember waking in a dark room, and a blade piercing my skin. I remember running for my life in the darkness. I remember the city and the bar where i found you. past that, all is lost in the fog of war......"

*Han frowned. This wasn't much to go on.*

"Perhaps we should check the archives. Lets head to teh library"
  • Posted On: Aug 16 2002 7:31am
"If that is where you wish to go." He guided the speeder upward, towards teh clouds as he drove towards teh archives. The trip was short, uneventful, quiet. He stepped out of the speeder. It was just another pleasant day on Coruscant. Eyes looked quietly upward, towards the stars, never downward, towards the past and things long forgotten.

They walked into the archive, , and Mits turned, looking at him. "What do you expect to find? As i remember, the Great Library of teh jedi burned, or mysteriously disappeared during the purge. Anything that was vital was put into the grand computer system, and i don't have access to something like that. You'd need like government clearance to do that."

He leaned back against the wall, his eyes moving about the room.

"Let's jsut say that i worked for the government for awhile. Even though no one knew it. Besides, my cousin was one of the major players in the New Republic. I have my own connections."

*Han grinned, then typed his name and passwrd, and began searching the government archives.*

" A cushy government job, you, no...couldn't have ever had one of those." He smirked as he saw the name and password go into the computer, his jaw dropping ever so slightly when the authorization came through. "Well, i stand corrected." He sat, fingers flying across keys at a second terminal, scanning the records for anything familiar, anything at all.

"WHo you related to in the government?" He added, almost an afterthought as he studied the records, his eyes moving quickly through several different search programs, digesting the information as it camme, the speed blinding, almost maddening. Hurs passed, thr air filled with the clicking of keys and the hum of computers.

"Han, come take a look at this." He looked over his shoulder, head turned ever so slightly. "It's a recording made on Barab I, sixteen years ago. I found in the performing arts section, almost by accident." The recording played quietly, the sound muffled due to the library and its abhorence of noise.

It was a shockboxing match, one of the things that the Barabel had contributed to theculture of the galaxy. It was a wicked fighting art, emphasizing letahl punches and close in fighting, using special gloves that carried an electrical charge through them. The match played, the two Barabel pounding the hell out of one another. The winner stalked back to his corner, triumphant. He disappeaered out of the view with another man, a human, young, male.

"Han, i think that's me. I don't have the foggiest clue as to why i would spend time on Barab, especiaaly with shockboxers. This is getting foggier and foggier..."
