The darkness of space was clean, nothing was in the Hapes Cluster from what the Hapans could see.Stars shot across the sky leaving a trail of white behind, Hapan fighters were patrolling the cluster for any unwelcome visitors that tried to invade the cluster.

Dante Leonheart, who has been at Hapes for sometime now, has asked Dakkon Darksword if he could do a planetary takeover to get more planets for the Hapes Consortium.Dante chose the planet Maires which was and ideal planet, because it shared a similar habit to the planet Vergil.

The takeover was granted, and Dante was pleased and eager to get going.He went towards the hangar bay selecting which ships he will take with him for his fleet.He saw his Hapan Battle Dragon, and with no hesitation he chose it.He then had to pick a few more ships which he led his vice captain to do.

He then quickly shot around and sped-walk towards the weapons chamber.He walked through the double doors and sat down looking at all the different variety of weapons hung on the shelves.He chose his most loyal weapon the E-11 Blaster rifle and a normal Briar Pistol, plus two belts of Thermal Detenators.He hooked them onto the rim of his trouser belt and walked off to gather up his crew.

...He entered the Mission Briefing room...

"Right are we all here?"

"Yes sir!"

About 1,000 men answered him with full inspiration.

"Right, well let's get started, the mission briefing will be done on the Battle Dragon and i will call you up when the time is right.Dismissed."

Dante walked with the crew to the Hangar and saw them get in the Battle Dragon and some get into the fighters.He then followed in through the narrow doors that shut behind him as he entered.He walked up towards the cockpit and took control of some of the piloting but left the rest of the cockpit officers to deal with the co-ordinates.

Dante then requested the Hangar bay force field to be opened.

"Force field open please, Officer?"

"Yes Sir, Captain Leonheart."

The force field vanished enabling the ships to move out.

"Very well, make it so then crew."

The Battle Dragon's engines fired up showing at the back flames pumping, raring to go.The Battle Dragon then rotated round to face the hangar entrance.The Battle Dragon then slowly moved out of the hangar and boosted out, away from the Hangar followed by the fighters.

"How long till me make the jump into hyperspace?"

"ummm, i'll look that one up sir, right now."

"Very well."

The officers at the controls were hard at work doing what they are supposed to do.Dante then sat back and waited for them to see how long it would take to jump into hyperspace.

(sigh)

"Found anything yet?"

"Yes, yes we have sir.I should take about 10 minutes but if we are going to make that 10 minutes happen we need to line the ship up for a clear jump."

"Alright then, make it so."

"Yes sir."

The Battle Dragon started to turn a 180 degree's to enable them a clear jump into hyperspace.The engines re-versed creating a loud noise, almost deafening for the crews ears.The Battle Dragon was slowly pivoting round...

"This should only take 5 minutes to pivot round sir."

"I hope your right."

The time was ticking, soon or hopefully the Battle Dragon should be in line.Dante looked at the time, they had already been turning round for 3 minutes already and still they were at a 90 degree turn with another 90 degree to go.

"Sir we are going to have to make the engines run as normal without the re-verse thrust."

Dante achknowledged it and the engines sound lowered which created the ship to turn alot faster...

...The 180 degrees had finally been done and they were ready to make the jump...

"All crew prepare to make the jump into hyperspace."

The officers were immediatley setting the co-ordinates and one spoke.

"Shall i sir?"

Dante nodded and with that the ship and the fighters made the jump into hyperspace.

"Right let's get some rest."

The ships were crusing through hyperspace like a knife cutting through a sandwich.Most of the crew had gone to their rooms and had took a nap and some stayed on the cockpit who already had a rest.

Dante had been asleep for over half and hour now and got up a few minutes after.He sat on his desk looking at all the papers which he needed fill in and sign.He really couldn't be bothered to do them right now and so he walked out and went to the hangar bay to see how well the engineers were doing.

"Everything ok?Going well?"

"Yes sir incredibly well, no accidents yet sir, we'll tell you if there are."

"Alright, keep up the good work."

Dante then turned around and walked up towards the cockpit.He saw them working hard, keeping them on course for Maires.

"I take it we have ages to go still?"

"Afraid so sir, it's going to be a 4 hour trip."

"Alright go and take a rest, i'll get some more up here to take your places."

Dante went to the rooms and immediatley the crew got up.

"Your on the cockpit controls guys."

The Crew got dressed and went to do their shift.This rotation thing was going well for Dante, it gave a chance for the crew to work and sleep which is healthy for Dante and the crew. went to the weapon chamber and started to see if the weapon were operational.Whilst he was fiddling with the guns he was thinking about how the Hapes Cluster became the Hapes Cluster and how the species became as one.You could say it was how the Empire became powerful.

Dante started to fill the guns up with ammo and started to give every single explosive a belt for the crew to wrap around their waist.He continued fiddling with the weapons making some more adjustments.He had finished sorting out the weapons and started to walk down the corridor thinking of what he could do...

Nothing came into his head.He was quite lost for what he could do, he could either help out at the cockpit or he could just go and do no work at all.Dante then stopped and just remembered this shift was over.He went towards the cockpit and told them to take a rest and tell the others that it was their turn on the controls.

Dante was incredibly bored, all he wanted to do was get to the planet and start the begining of the takeover because this trip was really boring him out.

"How long now?"

"Ummmm we have another 2 hours sir, i can see your tired and bored, you should take a nap."

Dante nodded and went to his quarters to see if time would fly for him.

"I will, make sure you don't work over time ok?"

"We won't sir, you have my word."

Dante then turned around and started to walk to his office.He went through the sliding doors and then headed towards the window.He saw nothing but illuminous colours which was marked as hyperspace colours.He continued watching the ship fly by the colours, his eyes were becoming full of colours, images were blurry to him now from just looking at the different colours in hyperspace.

He then sat on his chair and slowly dozed off, his head sliding to a side and his hands resting on his stomach.

Dante started to slightly groan and move.His eyes twitching, it looked as if he was having a dream about something disturbing.Dante's mouth started to twitch leading him to choke and suddenley woke up.He slowly rised seeing that he was still in hyperspace on the Battle Dragon heading to Maires.

"Less than an hour till we come out of hyperspace, please prepare yourselves and make final adjustments."

Dante heard the officer call over the speaker and was relieved that they were coming out of hyperspace very soon.He walked quickly to the bridge and grapped the comlink from the officer.

"Mission briefing room, all head to the mission briefing room."

Dante just reminded himself about that and then made his way followed by the bridge officers to the mission briefing room.Dante saw plenty of people pouring in through the doors and sitting down.

"Right we are gathered here to discuss the tactics before we land.There are lifeforms down there so we need to listen carefully to what im about to tell all of you.We are going to land on the outskirts and make camp there while some officers stay on the ship to keep it in orbit, you will be protected by the fighters.

We will start invading tommoro morning, very early tommoro morning because we will be less tired and we can hopefully get a 1/4 of a way through the forest without any disturbance.We will make camp every mile to have a decent stretch from each camp to take control of certain areas.Hopefully these lifeforms will not cause a great deal for us but their history is aggressive not getting along with the species on Vergil.

They share the same habitat as them so we are alright with that.All i can say is, be well and stick together because that's the only way we are going to complete this takeover.

Dismissed."

The crew all poured out of the room and headed to their rooms to get geared up.

"All crew prepare for the jump out of hyperspace."

The ship started to shake and suddenley stop but not completely, the stars had stopped moving and there we no bright colourful colours this meant they had successfuly made the journey to Maires.

Dante got his stuff and ran to the hangar bay.He strapped all his weapons on and then went to his fighter and so did the others.

"Open hangar force field please officer."

"Yes sir."

The force field vanished leading a clear exit out of the Battle Dragon.One by one the fighters flew out and headed to Maires, Dante was the first to lead the way down to make sure they all knew where they were going.

"Alright, be ready when we enter the atmosphere, it's gonna be bumpy."

The fighters all spreaded out just incase one went faster than the other when they entered the atmosphere.Dante was controlling it well and looked to his left and right to see the others were doing fine as well.They were breaking through the atmosphere for 5 minutes and finally broke through.

"Back in formation."

The fighters went back into the formation they were before they entered the atmosphere.The planet was very blue, the sea was the main feature of the planet, it was very decent to takeover.

"Right land when i land."

Dante slowed down and started to smoothly turn leading him to land on the ground softly.The other fighters did the same and one by one they exited their fighters and ran over to Dante who was looking out over the cliffside at the vast seas the planet had.

"I can't see no lifeforms but we must stay cautious still.Let's make camp here, we'll start tommoro."

The crew started to set up camp while Dante kept a look out for any of these species, the Mairans.
