Waving away the last few comments, Xen shook his head. "No demonstrations are necessary nor desired. I'm on a rather tight schedule and wasting time doesn't fit in with my plans." He sat back and pondered which direction to take the conversation. The fact that the DATA management system could be tailored to their needs pleased him immensely. In the best case scenario, they would receive their order within a few days and Section 8 could begin to set up their permanent home.
"I'm sure all of your products will live up to their reputations. Here's a detailed list of what I need." Reaching down to his briefcase, he brought it up onto the table, entered the code and snapped the lid back. Venturing forward with his hand he rummaged around for a second or two before grasping a small datapad which he promptly withdrew and slid across the table to Mr. Stellar. In it contained a very long list of everything Oso wanted to purchase today.

Rob took the datapad Xen handed him and ran his eyes down the long list of equipment the man wanted. He realized at once that this would be a large and expensive order. Some of the things on the list would not be available to him, while others would take some doing to get a hold of. The good thing about Colonel Oso was that he would let Rob put in what he felt the group Xen worked for needed.
"Most of these things will not be a problem to get hold of or built. Others, however, I can not manufacture because of copywrite laws so I will substitute them for droids Stellar Enterprises manufactures. Our droids have been tested against the ones you wrote down and have proven themselves more effective. I promise they will serve you better. Also our powered combat suits have performance on par with the dark trooper suits you request and are better in some respects. Plus the dark trooper program is not available for sale, as the New Order controls its production. I will add some equipment that your group will hopefully appreciate when the time comes for you to need them."
He smiled and looked at Xen before turning back to the list and inputing some other equipment. Micro drones were added as well as some stealthy scout vehicles and new IR-18 rifles and carbines. At the very bottom of the list Rob input the estimated amount and delivery times for the requested merchandise, then pushed the datapad towards Xen.
"Colonel, most the goods could be delivered within two weeks. Some of the more rare equipment will take up to three, however. It is the chemical compounds you request that will take the most times to get a hold off. A few are more widely available than others, but I assure you that within a month I can get them for you. Of course...the rarity of them and difficulty of procuring these items, does increase their price." He paused and watched Xen before continuing.
"We can begin delivery of some of the equipment within days, though. All you have to specify is where you would like it delivered."

"Like I said earlier, I'll trust your judgement when it comes to your own goods. There's no point in you giving me defective and/or ineffective products." Xen said pointedly. This was true, the Colonel didn't have to worry about Mr. Stellar attempting to cut corners and save costs by giving him goods that weren't up to par. The man would want his business again...after all, Section 8 had an unlimited budget for now and for Xen and Rob, that meant one thing. 'Shopping Spree.'
What the man said about the Dark Trooper program and others pretty much was in line with what Oso had heard. It was disappointing that he wouldn't be able to garner the use of those powerful droids. What Mr. Stellar might not know was that Xen had ulterior motives for using DT's to guard his facility...sure, they were effective but as Rob had pointed out, his new designs were even better. No, it was all about deceit and deception.
It was commonly known that the Darktrooper program was only held by the New Order. Thus far, no one else had managed to duplicate their process and for those who came too close, they had disappeared without a trace. Xen was planning on acquiring as much New Order and Black Dragon Empire resources and equipment as possible. This was merely another attempt to keep the identity of Section 8 a secret for as long as possible. The unit wasn't large and it needed every advantage it could get to stay alive in this bloodthirsty galaxy ravaged by war.
As happy as Xen was about the news of improved droids and what not, he was equally, if not more, displeased with the estimated delivery date.
"The delivery date is unacceptable. I need everything delivered within a week, save the chemical weapons. The DATA management system and planetary defenses I require in two days. I understand the fact that the DATA management system is extremely complicated to set up without a skilled technician and a detailed set of schematics. I'd like to require a droid that has the plans embedded in its memory. Of course, I won't try to access them but I will need it to supervise the construction, after that, I'll send the droid back or destroy it." A short pause followed as he scanned Mr. Stellar's facial expression.
"I'll pay double for every product I'm purchasing. I don't care if you need to make up excuses to your other clients. I want my order to have first priority. Is this doable Mr. Stellar?"

Rob nodded and thought for a moment while leaning back into his seat. He ran through all the orders his company already had and moved his hand through his head. This was a tough decision.
"Alright, I think I can manage that. I'll have to pull some strings, but it shall be done as you require. In two days I'll have the systems the delivered. Just let me know on the location and I'll arrange it."

"Excellent."
Digging through his briefcase again, Xen procured another datapad and once again, slid it over to Rob.
"The location will be Ilum. There are coordinates in the datapad. You will have exactly 48 hours from the time I leave to deliver my order. Just a warning, the location is cold...intensely so and it's quite easy to get lost. Tell your crew to dress accordingly." Xen wasn't lying. The location he had chosen was a vast, icy plain in the northern hemisphere. The entire area was barren, devoid of life and had claimed the lives of many wayward travelers.
The final item in the briefcase was a secure device linked to one of Section 8's many anonymous bank accounts scattered across the galaxy. This particular account was on Esfandia and contained more than enough for the purchase. As Oso set it up, entered his identification and went through the security procedures to unlock the device, he looked at Rob. "Your account number please. Half now, half when we arrive. For every hour you're ahead of schedule, I'll add a 5% express fee."

Rob smiled and gave the man his account number. He watched the credits roll by on the counter before a confirmation screen came up and let them all know that the funds had gone through.
"You have yourself a deal Colonel. The goods will be delivered in prime condition." Rob stated as he lifted up his glass. "A toast to our business agreement?"

"With your bartending skills, how could one refuse a toast?"
Lifting his own glass up high, he clinked glasses with Mr. Stellar. Polishing off his Firedancer, Xen stood up and offered the man a lazy salute. Reaching over, he closed his briefcase, latched it shut and straightened with a small grin on his face. Saying a final goodbye, he left the magnificent office and descended to the ground floor where he stopped by the receptionist's desk.
"Hello there miss." The man talking to her was the same man, but his appearance and mannerisms were completely different. "Excuse me for the act earlier. In any case, I'm afraid I must cancel our date. There are deals to be kept and places to be." Kissing her hand gallantly, Oso gave her a mischievious wink before sliding his number over to her and exiting the bilding.
