Her eye's turned toward Asri, and she took a few steps back. "Tr.... tr... get away.... get away...." she said and placed herself up against the wall

In the back of her mind she was in a fight. One side wanted to flee this temple, away from the Trandoshan. The other side wasn't afraid of the Trandoshan at all, she knew her, knew she was good, knew she wouldn't harm her. But after what just happened her mind went blank on her and now this other part of her is there. I remember .... my family.... they where murdered when I was little... by Trandoshans the thought repeated itself a few times. But, that was 7 year's ago. The trandoshans have changed she said but before she could stop herself her mouth moved. "You... killed my family...."

***

Maskis moved, A jedi was attending to him but he quickly waved the Jedi away. "I'm ok...." he said before falling over from trying to us his broken arm. "Ok.. maybe not.. but still."

He got up and walked, although weakingly, to Lavality's room where he found Lavality up against a wall. He could see the remaining object's in the room where shaking, he didn't know what that meant due to his inexperience with the force

Maskis walked into the room and Lavality's eye's quickly turend to him. It then became apperent what was going on. Her fear of Asri.... no... her fear of Trandoshans in general... I knew her father told me she had a deep fear of the Trandoshans, but he said that fear had been sealed away... damn... only problem was that without her father he didn't know of anyone who could snap her out of it... well.. a mind trick from a Jedi COULD do the job but he felt this was something she needed to do herself

Lavality stood there, both mind's fighting each other. Another presence inside her, she couldn't understand this presence

She's evil.. she killed our family
No.. she didn't... another group did
She's an Akisi!
You've seen her through my eyes... so you know she's no threat
Hmm... perhaps your right... but... with the wookie out of the way she could kill YOU!
No.. she won't... she won't kill me.
Then I'll relenquish control.. but remember.. the only reason you are able to survive so long is because of me

She mentally nodded. Would anyone believe her that she had two personalitys? An innocent child.. and a Trandoshan Politition, who knew more about combat that she did. She didn't know when this second persona became apart of her, only that it appeared in her mind shortly after her family was murdered. She feared the Trandoshan's soon after words but the comfort from inside caused her to seal away that fear, even though most feel it was her father who sealed it.

She looked at Asri then smiled, although it was forced. She then looked at Maskis, and the look on her face made him duck out of the room and check in into Medical

Asri's face twisted into one of confusion. What the heck was she talking about? She was aware of the remaining items in the room starting to shake and Asri started to wonder if she should run.

Hold firm. She told herself. She's just confused and tramatised, give her a moment to work it out.

The albino didn't move, didn't speak, not wanting to risk provoking a violent reaction from Lavality. Finally the tension in the room eased as whatever mental conflict Lavality was exeriencing ended and the girl gave her a small, forced smile.

"Glad to have you back with us." Asri said with a small smile of her own. "Did the bastard hurt you any?" Lavality didn't look like she had any physical injuries, but Asri knew that there was always the mental....

It was over. What ever was going on it was over and Trazu sighed with relief. "The danger is gone." He said to the two young Trandoshans in the room. "You're safe again, so go back to bed."

"Where are you going?" Silonik asked as Trazu stood up to leave.

"To see if I can find out what was going on." Trazu said. "After that, I'll likely go back to the library."

Dolash leant over the body of the wookie, having entered in silence. It was definetly dead, and he didn't like the look of it at all. No mere child could use the Force to strike down a creature such as this that easily.

He could even sense, in the back of his mind, the traces of something more. Something ominous in the air. But whatever it was, it had been sealed away again and only traces remained. He sighed.

"I am sorry to interrupt, but we will need to take you to the medical wing." he said, looking at Lavality "It is for the best, to ensure no injury or stress remains unnoticed." Other Jedi were arriving now, and one offered to take her there. Dolash went to speak only to Asri and said "I moved too slowly, tell me, do you know what happened here? No child could have so easily turned the Force to kill."

Dolash was disturbed - although their immediate concern was now gone, this new revelation was another mysterious piece of the puzzle. Ghosts, possession, violent reactions and fluctuations, and always the Force was guiding and manipulating events. They could not catch the wookie so that it's attack would make Lavality call on the Force before them - that much he was certain of. Trazu's arrival so soon after the appearance of the spirit. So much was strange about this, and he was now greatly concerned for the girl's well-being.

Lavality looked at the Jedi, before following the Jedi. She stared forward and soon after arrived at the Med Room; where the doctor there checked on her. "How are you feeling?" she was asked

"Fine," Lavality answered. "I'm fine." She smiled

The doctor eyed her before checking her further. "Wh... what?" she smiled weakly

He got up and walked back over to one of the cabinets. "I'm keeping you here until Master Dolash comes."

"Huh?! Why?!"

He stared at her for a second, before looking away from her.

Maskis was in his quarters. "What was THAT?" he asked himself several times over. "She couldn't have used THAT much power.... she's just a child and no mere child can do that much damage... this is so much similier to when her parents where killed..." he shook his head then sighed. "Well... just hope her Master doesn't get on her about this"

Asri rose to her feet to better address the Jedi, though she still had to look up to do so properly. “I had just reached the door when it practically exploded.” She explained. “It was like I was watching a tornado rip through while undercover.”

“Something like the Force Storm the spirit did that tore up a lot of the market place?” Trazu, who had just arrived, asked.

Asri gave him a shrug. “I wasn’t there to witness that event Lord Trazu.” She said. “So I can only take your word for it. I’m just glad I wasn’t directly in front of the door when it started, else I’d be wearing a body bag like our wookiee friend here.”

Trazu winced at the thought, but pushed it away as he stepped into the room fully to access the damage himself. Though he hadn’t witnessed Lavality’s feat firsthand, the damage done in the room looked and felt eerily familiar. “I’ll have to agree with Lady Asri’s assessment of what happened.” He said. “This had to be a Force Storm, not nearly has big or powerful as the one the K’Satizitus conjured up in the marketplace, but a Force Storm none-the-less.
“And that is worrying.” He said with a frown. “Not even while I was a Dark Jedi could I cause this type of destruction and here Lavality did just that so soon in her training.”

“Seems the child has a skeleton or two in her closet.” Asri mused.

“Like you?” Trazu said before he could stop himself. He slapped a hand over his mouth in embarrassment. “I’m sorry Asri…I didn’t mean…”

But Asri was already giving him a rather cold glare. “Some things are better left unknown.” She hissed before storming out of the room.

“Way to go Trazu….” Trazu mumbled to himself with a heavy sigh.

"Yeah, I've seen smoother moves from Ian after he's had a few drinks." said Shillia as she and Fwar entered the room. "We've called off the search parties, Proq found Jubaz. Looks like everything is settling down."

Dolash nodded. "That's good, at least." he turned back to Trazu "These events are all terribly mysterious and mostly dangerous. I reccomend that an expedition is mounted as soon as possible to these caves you know of - it's clear the Force is guiding us, and if she is possessed of such great power at so early an age then it is doubly important we find out what soon, before she hurts someone else."

Fwar stepped forwads "There is something else, actually. The doctor wants you to come down right away. He was checking Lavality and struck upon something that he said you need to hear."

Dolash turned back to Trazu "I'm sorry to take off so quickly, but whatever this is I must speak to the doctor about it. I do need to speak to you, however - events are moving, and we will need to move with them."

With that, he was off. Shillia and Fwar watched him leave, and then turned back to Trazu.

"She has got a point, you know." said Fwar to Trazu "Your comment just now to the lady Asri ranks highly in the most embarrasing moments I've witnessed before."

Shillia flicked the other Jedi on the arm and said "Lay off him, besides, you're terrible at scandalizing things. Anyways, we have Jedi business to attend to - namely, is there anything we can do for you, Trazu? Things seem to have been a little chaotic lately, but with the assassin gone there's a chance you can settle in some, now."

Lavality sat there for a few. She stared at the ground and wondered what was going on

"Why'd he stop.." some voice spoke to her."Hmm.. rather... why isn't he continueing?" she asked herself."Well... I didn't want to risk him finding out..." the voice said."Finding out what? Who are you?"

"You don't know me, cause I purposely locked away those memorys.. if you where to see them you'd lose all aspects of your life." She blinked in a confused manner."Umm... what are you talking about? I don't understand what you just said!" she yelled mentally
"There's some parts of me that are still locked away, that you need to recover for me." The voice spoke to her and she glanced away from the doctor, who was staring at her quite suspiously

"But why don't you want them to help us?" Lavality asked as she looked around the room, her legs bouncing off the side of the bed."Because there's an Akisi... and there's Naosha... both of which hate me for what I really am," the voice was low and full of nervousness. "However.. that Trandosha.. what was his name?" the voice asked."Trazu..." Lavality said to herself

"Did you say something?" The Doctor asked as he turned back toward her

She blinked then smiled childishly. "No no! I didn't say anything.." she laughed slightly before sighing. The doctor turned away from her and continued to check on some of the reports he had

"Trazu might be able to help us.... I can't leave your body... not until you die" the voice trialed off, and several seconds later Lavality could hear a sigh. Lavality sighed as well and looked up at the ceiling. "What happened back there...." she asked the voice. "I unleased a force vortex.. it's something you can't do yet." the voice said

She blinked. "But.... you had to take control of my body... your just a voice in my head... unless..."

She heard an amusing laugh, then died down. "I am a spirit, something that manefests in your body"

"Like what took over Master Trazu?" Lavality asked

"NO!" The voice yelled, the room shook for a second before it died down. She could see the doctor looking around and wondering what it was, before shrugging and turning back to his work. "No.... I am a spirit that isn't here to commit murder... it's a long story. But.. your far to young to know. I will protect you, but you must remember that I can't always be there when you need me"

She nodded mentally. "Tell me.. can you control my movements?"

"I only have access to your movements when you are either in danger... or when you wield the lightsabre."
the voice finally disappeared and she could no longer feel the warmth in her mind. She blinked before looking back at the doctor

Trazu frowned at the teasing jabs at his lack of courtship skills. “First off, T’Doshok are not exactly known for their courtship abilities, as we rarely ever need them. Therefore, unless you have some advice to give me on that point, which I doubt will work well because Asri isn’t not only a T’Doshok but a unique one as well, you can lay off how bad my pick up lines are.” He sighed and leaned up against one of the walls. “I was going to go back to the library to research meditation techniques, but I can only think of how to apologize to her without risking her ripping my head off. She’s so…no determined is not the right word…convinced, yes that’s it, she’s so convinced that she is as far as she can go in life that she doesn’t see that there are more opportunities out there for her…” Another sigh. “Including me.

“There’s something in her past she’s afraid to reveal, that’s keeping her from opening up completely, something that she’s afraid to tell anyone. That much I can determine. It can’t be her former ‘employer’…” He felt this was not the best place to reveal her former connections with the Sith. “As she’s made that nearly public knowledge by now, at least in the Clan anyway. No it’s something else, something even deeper then that…..” He glanced at the two Jedi. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to have you listen to the ramblings of a frustrated and….desperate….T’Doshok.”

She was outside in the rain again, though the rain was starting to taper off now. This time she just sitting on one of the courtyard benches brooding. Asri knew that, again, Trazu didn’t mean harm by his comment, but it still hurt: it told her there was a certain level of distrust.

I suppose I can’t really blame him for that. She thought, watching the rain droplets run down her arms. Trust was a hard thing to come by for Trandoshans, even more so in her case. Though the majority of them are improving their views, there was always the risk of one that would sell her out and as a result she would lose all that she had gained. She knew Trazu wouldn’t do such a thing, but there are others, even non-Trandoshans, that knew and opportunity when they saw one. Plus even if she did tell all, how could they possibly understand what she was going through? As far as she knew she was the very first living being to be ‘cursed’ like this.

It was at times like this she envied the droids. They only knew what they were programmed for, never knowing nor understanding the pains those made of flesh can go through. They didn’t mind, with a few notable exceptions, being told what to do every day of their existence, content forever being nothing but loyal servants.

Asri knew that she would mind being forced to act that way and she had long ago vowed that if anyone ever tried to she would fight it every step of the way.

The doctor and Dolash held a whispered conversation as he arrived to the examination room. Things were off. Things were way off.

"She has too much power..." said the doctor, shaking his head "It's disproportional to her age, experience, even her midichlorian count. It's almost as if the power is running through her..."

Dolash's face had gone stoney and grim at this news. His eye passed over Lavality while he was in thought, and he murmured to the doctor "Barris is definetly contained right now, correct?"

The doctor nodded. "Definetly. She hasn't been out of the library for ages."

Dolash nodded back to him. "All right. I want you to leave the room. Close the door, but don't lock it, and unless I call don't allow anyone in. Stay back from the door, just to be safe."

Puzzled, the doctor left, leaving the giant with the little girl. He turned to Lavality, and kneeled down - still managing to tower over her. He once again paused for thought, and felt his heart go heavy at the sight of Lavality. He could only hope he was wrong. "My apologies, little girl, for the inconvenience. It appears that the power you used earlier has a curious source. I wonder if I may - "

There it was.

Through the Force, Dolash sensed it. A clinging presence, shielded within the energy field of the girl before him, it had been for a moment visible.

Forgetting himself, Dolash plunged after it - physically he froze as if a solid statue, but mentally he drove his mind after the slippery spirit. It was as he touched it in the shadows of the girl's mind that he realized the strength of what he faced, and was driven straight out of the Force and back into his own mind with so much force that he flew back and crashed into the door, groaning.

Something. But what?!

Dolash tried to focus, but for a few seconds he found himself just plain disoriented.

She hovered over him, the spirit that resided within Lavality. She looked down at Dolash and just shoke her head before diving into his mind

There she looked around, although she to had difficulty moving around. "Strong one he is," she said before leaving his body, but making a connection to him so she could speak

Lavality was slumped against the bed, knocked out by the sudden intrusion into her mind; but also by the spirits sudden disapperence from her mind

"That girl live's because I reside inside her," the spirit said with folded arms. "Harm her, and you die." she spoke in a harsh tone. "However, protect her and treat her like a normal human being and you'll be blessed with both my and her protection." The spirit turned back around. "Her body is frail, weak to some degree, without my presence she will die." the spirit's words where hollow. "Your doctor is right, but she can't harness that power cause I won't allow her to; she doesn't know enough of the force yet"

The spirit walked across the room, her form was nothing more than light casted by an unseen force... perhaps the force was involved in letting her achieve this form. She looked at Dolash. "Lavality is not yet ready for her to know who I truely am, nor is she ready for me to release this power upon her. She is young, she is frail, but she is strong willed and strong at heart." the spirit smiled, although it couldn't be seen

She turned back around and walked back toward Dolash. "Hear me well, do not harm this girl. Do not harm her either mentally, physically, or spiritually." With that the spirit walked back toward Lavality. "One last thing, while she wields that light sabre my conscience can reside within it; her mind has access to my Tera Kasi abilites; however.... she has an abilitie that is.. mysterious an abilitie I haven't seen in a very long time... ." she grinned. "Lavality is a key to one such ability that I truely didn't know existed in this era" she turned back around. "It's called 'Battle Meditation' and it's something she has access to even at this age. Talk to Trazu.. and ask him to ask Naosha to ask Sillass if he noticed anything strange going on during the Battle for Trandosha." before she left though. "One final thing, you mustn't tell her anything that I've said. To do so would harm her greatly... she is but a child and doesn't need to know these things just yet." with that she vanished, her form disappearing from sight and going back into Lavality

Lavality's eye's opened a few, but she couldn't move her arms nor her legs, she just laid there for awhile, she couldn't move any part of her body and wondered why. If only she knew that the spirit leaving her body temporarily paralized her for a couple minutes; for some reason she was tired and soon drifted to sleep
