Dev nodded.
"It sounds only fair. I will not lie to you, the equipment you're carrying isn't exactly. It's not explosive or anything of the like, but customs officials probably will not like all of the blasters. I suggest you hide them, and if you need help doing that, we can do that. But what kind of big girl toys are you looking for? Something for your ship, or are we talking about something more on the personal level...I mean on the personal scale..."

"Glad we understand each other. Now,as for the few things I'll need, just some power cells for my blaster, maybe another blaster, and if you can manage it, I've been wanting to put a BlasTech Ax-108 "Ground Buzzer" surface-defense blaster cannon positioned under my ship. But, if that's too much for your people to handle, I guess I can have it done elsewhere. I realize we don't have much time."

Dev winced.
"I'm not exactly sure what that is, but if it's a standard weapon of some sort, I'm sure our techs can do it. Is that the only thing you'll be needing?"
If it's basic repairs and a simple weapon's installation, we won't need to go to the Death's Jaws. Instead, we can go to one of the League's garages. Shouldn't be too hard.

Jesra was a little surprised that he wasn't aware of such weapon. But, didn't show it. "I see. Well, it's a nice and handy little cannon that is kept concealed then drops down from underneath the ship. One of my former...friends had one and I wanted one." Jesra explained as she moved to the door, opened it and walked a few paces outside.
"I was told it comes in handy when you have to leave in a hurry and your engines decide not to turn over when they should. So, why here and not someplace like anywhere else?"
Jes wasn't stupid, there was only one reason and a certain type that would think about coming here and what kind of place this was. She was just hoping for a little conversation.

Dev snorted. "They're friends; I can trust them and their work, and get it for a lower price than any other tech place."
He figured he wouldn't reveal anything else abou the tech station to her, yet. She doesn't need to know the connection between the Liberty League and the Inferno organization. Not yet at least. It's a dangerous bit of information to have... This particular outlaw tech shop was at the edge of the city; far away enough to prevent people from easily spying on the shop, yet close enough to the local space port that people could easily stop by there and not be noticed. As they entered the pre-fabricated garage, a wave of chemical solvents' scents assaulted their noses. They passed by several landspeeders with varous access panels missing, with several droids and humanoids working on them. No-one paid them any heed. But after rounding past the sole starship present, a Z-10, the pair ran straight into a diminutive Sullustan.
"Gorva," waved Trillidor, "this is a friend of mine. I was hoping you would be able to do some work on her ship."
The Sullustan chittered away, both expressing suspicion on the newcomer, as well as acquiring the nature of the work.
"She's clean, believe me, she wants a covering blaster mounted on her ship, you know for disembarking and landing and what not. Kind of like the repeating blasters the Imps use on their assault shuttles."
Dev glanced back at Jesra, "What model of blaster was it?"
Friends of ours can get you

Jesra looked at the Sullustan. "BlasTech Ax-108 surface-defense blaster cannon. They call it a Ground Buzzer."
She then looked around. "Gotta say, it's a nice little setup from what I've seen. Get any problems with the Imps getting nosy?" She asked as her eyes fell on Brandeis.

"Gotta say, it's a nice little setup from what I've seen. Get any problems with the Imps getting nosy?"
Dev shook his head. "Things are a bit complicated, but the Inferno Fleet mercenaries harass the Imps enough that they don't go looking for trouble. There's an agreement set up between the Uogo'cor government and the Imps that if we don't bother them, they won't bother us. And for the most part, the Uogo'cor government sticks to it. Aside from letting people like us work out of here. But what Fossk doesn't know, he won't act on."

"Interesting arrangement. But, you realize there's always going to be one imp higher up that's a little more power hungry for his own good." Jesra continued to walk alongside Brandeis, watching the motley crew of droids and humanoids working on various tasks.
"Those are the ones you have to watch out for. By the way. Why did you choose me for this run?" Her words were filled with curiosity.

"Those are the ones you have to watch out for. By the way. Why did you choose me for this run?"
Dev slightly licked his chops. There were any number of reasons he could say why he had picked her. The foremost being that he needed a transport with few questions asked about a questionable cargo. With the Inferno organizations running at nearly full-speed, there was little in way of support craft, albeit they had plenty of combat vessels. But combat vessels like starfighters or gunships weren't terribly great for quietly transporting cargo to an enemy-held planet. Part of it was because he was fairly certain that she was new to the area, which meant that the possibility of betrayal to a rival organization or Fossk was low.
But...
But there was a quieter, yet more disquieting reason which lurked in the back of his mind...
...if things got worse or went south during the run, she was disposable.
While he admitted a certain attraction to her, he did not really know her. He had no emotional investment with the woman. If she failed, became incarerated or killed, he would get over it quicker than he would like to admit: after all, everyone died eventually. If she was interrogated, she would know very little that could actually harm the organization. In fact, Dev would be more concerned that the cargo got into enemy hands, as it would at the very least tell Fossk that the Uogo'cor government was either corrupt, or working with Inferno.
Dev winced.
"You're new, you needed a job, and I needed a quiet transport of questionable goods badly," stated Trillidor quietly.
